Andrea's POV:
"Leave! Leave!! Leeeeeaave!!!"

The monster screams, it swung it's arm and slash it's pickaxe at Deuce! "Guuuuh!!" He was thrown back and hit the wall with a loud "thud!". "Deuce!" I screamed as I ran towards him to help him. Thank God he wasn't hurt, but it looks like he's got the wind knocked right out of him. "Are you alright?!" I asked panicky as I help him back on his feet. "Yeah... I'm fine... thank you..." "Stand back if you have no control, Mr. Serious! I'll stop it! Haa!" Ace waved his wand, send a gust of strong wind at the monster, but it didn't effiect it at all!

"Wuuuuuuooooooohhh!!!"

The monster hit Ace way harder than Deuce! "Guuhaaaah!!" "Ace!" I rushed over to him, "Are you ok?!" "I'm fine... thanks..." He mumbled as I helped him back on his feet. "Ffgnaaa!! Stay away!!" Grim screamed in fear and use his fire magic to burn the monster, but it ended up the same! And it looks like it made him even more mad!

"Grrrrr!!!"

"I-It's not working at all!" Grim screamed, running to climb back on my shoulder and head in fear. Suddenly I saw something sparkling behind the monster. "Did something just sparkle!?" I said, getting their attention. "Behind that thing! At the end of the tunnel, something..." "That light, is it a magic crystal!?"

"GOOOOOOOOOOHHH! WON'T GIVE!!!!"

The monster screams, "L-L-L-Let's get out of here! We're done for at this rate!!" Grim screams, "Grim's right guys! We gotta get out of here! Now!" I ordered and we ran out of the mine as fast as we can, with the monster screaming behind us.

"Ggggggooooohhh!!!"

We ran into the silent woods, all the way back to the Dwarf's old house, and we were exhausted from all that running. "Is this far enough?" Grim asked as he climbs off of me, "Yeah... looks like it..." I answer his question, "Ooooww.. What in the world was that? No one said anything about that!" Ace whines, "It didn't seem like any old ghost." Deuce explained, "Let's give up and go home. I'd rather get expelled than fight that thing." Ace said in defeat. Deuce didn't take it lightly from him, and I honestly wasn't even surprised by it at all.

"Wha!? Don't screw with me! I'd rather die than face expulsion!" Deuce scolded him, "There's a magic crystal in front of us and you wanna go home!" "Ha. You talk big for someone worse at magic than me. Go alone if you want. I'm done." Ace said bluntly, "Oooh, that right? Then stay right there cowering like a spineless coward!" Deuce growled with a whole new attitude and personality, startling me and Grim. "Huuuuh?? Coward?? Who exactly are you talking about?" Ace mocks relentlessly, "U-uuuh... Deuce. Did you switch up your character?" Grim asked timidly. For once breaking the tension. Snapping out of it, he said, "Huh! A-ahem! My bad. I lost my composure a bit." I look back at the path we ran on to get away from the mine, saying, "Now what are we gonna do? I wish we can use magic to help us."

"But it's like what you and the headmaster said earlier, Andie-san." Deuce said as I turn back to him, "Magic isn't all-powerful. If you can't imagine it, then it won't materialize. Large-scale or complicated magic requires a lot of training." "But that's why we have schools for magic." Ace explains, "You have to practice a lot to use magic just as it comes to mind. Bluntly, you'll screw up if you lose your cool." Ace stated bluntly, "Everyone has been using it willy-nilly." I replied. "Stuff you're good at, you can go off instinct." Ace said. "At any rate, I'm going in there. I'll figure out how to beat that thing and come back with a magic crystal." Deuce said with determination, "However, judging by the chandelier incident, you're a complete idiot." Ace mocks him again, "You couldn't land a single hit earlier, but now you'll 'figure it out'? It's going to end the same." "Come again!? You think..." Deuce growled as he and Ace starts arguing again. "Here they go again." That's it... "Will you two knock it off already?!"

"?!" Ace, Deuce and Grim stares at me, completely off guard at my shouting, "Why are you shouting all of the sudden?" "Why?! Because this argument isn't getting us anywhere! None of you could do anything back there because you're always fighting each other like a bunch of wild animals! It's the middle of the night, and I want to be in bed right now, but instead I'm in the middle of nowhere with three small, brained morons who can't keep their mouths shut for a goddamn minute! From now on, I'M in charge! Understand?!" I had it! I'm done with their pointless fighting, I swear I'm gonna break someone's arm if they start fighting again!

"Ff-fgnnaa..." "Guuhh... B-but... What exactly should we do?" Deuce replied, "We have to come up with a proper strategy if we want to get the magic crystal." I said, "Strategy? You mean get along and work together?" Ace laughed as if I told him a joke, "Ha! That's cold. You have no problem saying lame things with a serious face, huh." "Disagreed. No way I'm working with this loser." "Gah!" I grabbed them by their jackets, pulling them towards me, "Say shit like that one more time, and I'll kick both your crotches so hard, you two won't be having any kids for the rest of your lives!" I snarled at them with a glare. Ace and Deuce stares at me in horror and terror. Grim looks like he's rolling with it, even though he's afraid of my anger, "But... I feel like it's way lamer to get expelled on the first day of school."

That caught their attention as I release their jackets. "Uuh, that's..." Ace and Deuce didn't say anything after hearing that from Grim, "Lame? I honestly find it kinda pathetic." I said, crossing my arms, "Pathetic?!" Ace and Deuce turn to me in shock, "You two are the ones who don't want to get along, I don't get why you two keep fighting each other. Honestly, if you two don't want to get the magic crystal, then I don't really care." I said bluntly, "Even though Grim did started this mess, I don't want to be a part of it. Hell, I don't want to be a part of any of this ever since I came to this damn world."

"Wait. What do you mean by that?" Deuce asked, both he, Ace and Grim look at me confusingly. I look down. Well, I might as well tell them. I began to tell them the real reason on how and why I'm in Night Raven College, from the dreams I'd been having, the voice I've been hearing, the mirror I found in my aunt's basement, to everything that happened with Grim before the entrance ceremony. After I finished explaining, Ace, Deuce and Grim look at me in shock. "So, your like an alien or something?" Ace asked, "In a way, kinda." I said, "I know it sounds crazy, but that's what really happened." "But why would the voice, or the Dark Mirror bring you to our world in the first place?" Deuce asked, "I honestly don't know." I said with a shrug.

"But we can talk about this later." I said, getting back on topic. "I do have an idea, but I really need you guys to listen to me." I said calmly, "....haaaahh.. Fine. Let's just get this over with, then." Ace said in defeat, "So, what's your plan?" I smiled at them, beginning to tell them my plan. We walked back to the mine as quietly as possible, ready to put the plan into action. Ace and I quietly walk to the entrance with Grim hiding behind my leg. "Andie... is this plan of yours really gonna work? I'm sca... I mean, I'm a little... uh, nervous." Grim said to me, "Don't worry, I'm sure this is gonna work." I said while look at the entrance with determination. "Haha, you're too stiff. Just go with the flow. Let's get this over with!" Ace smiles, I nodded as I turn back to look for the monster. It's risking, but it'll all be worth it in the end. I just hope the plan works.
