Hello lovely reader and welcome to this year's NaNo adventure!! Yes, I'm returning to my sci-fi roots after attempting a fantasy last year, so hopefully this will be good!!

This is a really cool concept I came up with years after hearing a story that my grandmother told me about her grandmother and the boer wars in my country. (South Africa, for those of you who don't know.) Obviously this isn't a historical fiction novel, so I went and reworked the story to fit into a more sci-fi-esque world :-)

I am SUPER excited to start writing on this (again...) since I tried to do this for Camp NaNo but ended up getting stuck at 11K words. Also super excited for you to meet my new BABIES!! These characters are my pride and joy, and have existed in my mind for at least a year now, and I cannot wait to introduce Jun and my baby Mamoru to you!!

just some general stuff:

「 If you're looking for a kick-ass, "change the world we live in" sci-fi adventure, this is not one of those. And Then He Fell is personal story, based in an unfair society. (also, none of the shit mentioned in here ever happened to me, I say personal because it's about people, and not society as many dystopian novels are.) The characters in this novel are not going to be focusing on changing the society they live in, because it does not concern them, or simply because they know they cannot change how the world works :) 」

「 This is Japanese inspired, because I'm a weeaboo :) but please take note that this is NOT supposed to be accurate, okay? I'm not writing a fiction novel set in Japan, I'm writing a light-novel, anime inspired SCIENCE FICTION novel set in Japan. What this basically means, and comes down to, is that I'm not writing an accurate novel, I'm writing an anime. This means, it'll include all the intimately anime shit you love, if you're an otaku, like me, and have seen at least one psychological anime like Psycho-Pass or Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) ((that shit SCREWS with you, okay ITS A PSYCHOLOGICAL ANIME I DONT CARE ABOUT THE OBVIOUS YANDERE HAREM SHIT THEYRE THROWING IN THERE) 」

「 I am, currently busy with my NSC's (final exams,  like I'm talking FINAL FINAL END OF HIGH SCHOOL SHIT)  and also trying to do NaNoWriMo since its my absolute sanity keeper during finals,  so excuse the occasional complaining authors note  」
