It had been several weeks since Bakugou's assault on Midoriya. Their relationship was probably even more strained then before as Midoriya was making a point to avoid Bakugou as much as possible. If Bakugou was walking towards her she would turn around or walk off in the opposite direction. She avoided any interaction or conversation with him such as if the students were gathered in the common area and Bakugou was present she avoided the area altogether. Needless to say it pissed Bakugou off to no end as he couldn't get near Midoriya to save his life. 

For once he actually wanted the little freckled nerd around.

Iida and Uraraka heard from Momo and Todoroki what had happened and stayed near her in order to keep Bakugou away from her.  Momo took to spending more time with Midoriya and had made the decision not to spread word to the rest of the class. Todoroki also took to shielding Midoriya away from Bakugou and shot him looks of displeasure. She also stopped referring to him as Kacchan which was even more surprising to the rest of the class.

The class was suited up in their hero costumes participating in quirk strengthening exercises. Everyone was hard at work pushing themselves to their limits to unlock their quirks. Which is why no one noticed when the Shie Hassakai yakuza led by Overhaul attacked U.A. As soon as it became aware when the ground was disrupted by Overhaul's quirk some of Midoriya's classmates were instantly injured in the fault lines. The teachers sounded the alarms urging all the students to seek shelter either in their dorms or the school buildings. If necessary they were free to use their quirks in self-defense but otherwise were not to approach any villains. Midoriya was one of the students unharmed and rushed in to help with the rescue of her fallen classmates. She helped Denki out of the hole who had a large gash against his forehead.

"It's alright Kaminari hold in their. I'll get you to safety." She encouraged her classmate who was frazzled and burnt out from overusing his quirk all he could do was hold up his thumbs and drool despite the pain he was in. However, they were immediately confronted by a yakuza member. 

"Stop right there Hero scum!" he barked threatening them with a weapon.

Midoriya heaved in a breath. "Please show some mercy can't you see my classmate is injured. I'm just trying to lead him to safety we're only students." Midoriya tried appealing to his sense of compassion.

Unfortunately, the villain lacked any compassion as he unleashed his weapon directly at Midoriya and Kaminari raining down a hail of bullets. Thankfully Midoriya was quick on her feet and activated One For All to dodge the attack. She slung Kaminari on her back and made a break for safety. She had to take him someplace safe in order to fight off the villains attack who was still persistent in following them. She soon heard a loud explosion and turned just in time to see Bakugou blast the villain that had been in pursuit of them away. She had never been more relieved to see Kacchan in that instant and all was forgotten.

"Hey Deku! What's your worthless face doing out here?" Bakugou said though his tone of voice betrayed his worry.

"Trying to get Denki to safety and find any of our other classmates." Midoriya told him.

"Alright, lead the way." he said not arguing for once seeing as it was all chaos from hell breaking lose.

U.A. looked like a warzone fires were burning in every which direction, the air was filled with smoke, the landscape torn asunder, the screams of battle and the wounded were heard everywhere. Panicked students ran for safety in small groups avoiding villains where possible. Teachers and students were attempting to hold their own against the assault of villains. Midoriya finally got to the gymnasium where many had sought shelter to bring an unconscious Kaminari in for medical treatment. 

"Where is everybody else?" Midoriya asked Iida.

"A lot of students are still unaccounted for the general studies class in 1-B had been outside having an English lesson when it happened as well. Only half of our class is accounted for." Iida said.

"I'm going back out there." Midoriya said determined to find more of the injured.

Iida grabbed her arm "Midoriya stop! We were told to seek shelter and leave this up to the Pro's and only to use our quirks in self-defense. As your class representative I cannot allow you to go back into the fray you could become injured." Iida said concerned.

"I'm sorry Iida but I can't just sit here knowing our classmates are out there at the mercy of these villains. Which by the way I know they have none of. How can I dare call myself a hero if I stay where it's safe." Midoriya argued.

"Very, well I won't tell anyone I saw you but take care Midoriya. I care about you not just as your class rep. but also as your friend." Iida said resting his hand on Midoriya's shoulder and sharing a look of concern.

Midoriya nodded. "I'm coming back Iida. Don't worry." she said in reply.

"Hey stupid Deku. I'm coming too!" shouted Bakugou and off they ran into the fray.

They found Tsuysu Asui and then Uraraka and escorted them both to safety and urged them both to make a run for the gym. After, which they soon became separated in fighting off several villains in one go. The last she heard was Bakugou shouting "MIDORIYA!" 

Midoriya came face to face with Kendo who breathed in hard his large black bird mask threatening " Hahaha, a little girl like you what can you do? I want a fight I want death." he breathed.

"Be my guest." Midoriya breathed out as she channeled One For All feeling it course through her body the green electrical currents radiating across her form. She then leaped from the ground in a quick bound dodging a brutal blow from Kendo. He turned around fuming and came after her again fists swinging Midoriya landed a swift kick to his face causing his hand to snap upwards. He brought his head back down and shook his head coming back to his senses and growled out "Your dead." and swung at Midoriya. She managed to dodge several of his attacks till one of his fists connected with her stomach sending her down coughing. 

She got back up just in time before he tried stomping down on top of her she looked up angry and called on One For All at twenty percent. Midoriya then unleashed a series of brutal kicks and punches against him catching him off guard. Till he reached out and grabbed her, slamming her into the ground. She went down heavy with a grunt but managed to get up quickly remembering a villain would not allow her time to recover. She faced him head on grasping at her side that throbbed in pain.

Kendo belted out a loud laugh "You can surrender and make it easy on yourself and just lay on the ground as I annihilate you. Then I'll go after the rest of your weak classmates and take them out." 

Midoriya became more enraged and channeled One For All at thirty percent "Don't even think of touching my friends." she seethed. Then she leaped into an attack shouting out "One For All Full Cowling." with wind currents violently blowing and powers fully channeled she round house kicked Kendo into the chest knocking the wind out of it and sending him down. Out. Cold.

Midoriya stood, with a determined look on her face, fists raised in defense staring down the villain. She soon felt a cold wind as a sheet of ice swooped out of nowhere along with a blast of fire which sent her hair blowing and dancing all about her face and she came face to face with an enraged Shouto Todoroki. 

"Midoriya, are you alright did he hurt you?" he asked leaping down from the icy shelf to stand before her casting a disdainful glare in Kendo's direction . 

Midoriya relaxed her shoulders and gave him a small smile "I'm alright Todoroki nothing I can't handle. How about yourself?" 

Todoroki gave her a small smirk "You always think of other's when you should think of yourself." he said looking her in the eyes.

"Isn't that what being a hero is all about?" she said. "Putting other's health and safety before your own needs?" 

He laughed "Alright, you got me their Midoriya." He then shocked her by putting his arms about her. "I am just glad to find you safe." He whispered in her ear the ice prince melting away for Midoriya who embraced him back closing her eyes and suppressing old memories. They were soon interrupted by a loud explosion and turned to the right.

"Hey you assholes! What the fuck are you doing?" Bakugou came charging up to them fuming and enraged kicking aside debris in his wake.

"I had only just arrived to ensure Midoriya was safe and was relieved to find her as such." Todoroki said his bland tone returning. 

"Yes, Kacchan. I just fought off that yakuza member when Todoroki appeared and just needed a little reassurance." She added as she pointed over to a now frozen Kendo.

Bakugou assessed her she had clearly been in battle her hair was wild, dirt was smudged across her face, her costume looked disheveled, and he could tell she was in pain despite her playing it off. As usual he had to maintain his mask of indifference it was the only way to make sure everyone, especially Midoriya remained strong. Especially since they were in battle with the Shie Hassakai a yakuza organization who were an unpredictable lot as it would seem.

Bakugou just made his trademark "Tsk" sound and said "Alright, you useless extras then let's get the hell out of here. Before more of these bastards show up alright, you coming Half and Half Bastard?" He narrowed his eyes at Todoroki. 

Todoroki simply ignored him as usual wondering why he was being so passive aggressive towards him about Midoriya since he assumed she wasn't happy with him still. "Midoriya what would you like to do right now?" Todoroki asked.

"We should find more of our classmates and anyone from 1-B as well, they could be in danger right now. We need to put aside our differences this is no time to be fighting. People could be injured or dying for all we know." Midoriya pleaded.

And with that they fell back into action charging in and coming to the rescue of any wounded or trapped classmates and fighting off villains when they could. Midoriya found Shinso, Monoma, and a few other members of class 1-B trapped under some fallen debris with the help of Todoroki they freed them and returned them to safety. Monoma was livid at being rescued by class 1-A heroes and refused any help storming off on his own. Shinso on the other hand looked let down that he had failed at his drive in becoming a hero again.

"Shinso you don't understand each member of this organization was personally chosen and selected bye Kai Chisaki. He would probably admire a strong quirk such as yours. Especially when it took my all to snap myself out of it at the sports tournament." Midoriya said.

"Is that so?" Shinso said stunned.

"It is. We need you to be a hero someday you will save a lot of people." Midoriya said with a smile.

Shinso tried to suppress the blush he could feel sprouting across his face and thanked Midoriya for the rescue as well as pep talk. When everything was cleared up he would continue his private lessons with his mentor in preparation for joining class 1-A which was soon.

Midoriya continued to encounter her classmates as well as teachers fighting off villains and came to their aid. She ignored her injuries as the adrenaline was flowing through her veins. Eventually the Shie Hassakai made a retreat but it was too late the damage had been done. The grounds of U.A. were covered in destruction and wreckage. Many pro-heroes and students were injured being too much for Recovery Girl to handle. Ambulances and emergency vehicles were on their way as well as outside hero agencies to help with the clean up and the apprehension of any villains left behind. 

Those Villains left behind,  were not the part of the main group but were merely henchmen. Kendo had help in breaking out of his ice prison and escaped with the rest of the precepts. Meanwhile, those apprehended were being interrogated for information as to why the attack on the school had occurred, and if they had any allegiances with the League of Villains or All For One. They remained mute staying loyal to Overhaul and were loaded into paddy wagons sent off to police stations for processing.
