I just received one of the most amazing phone calls of my life. I feel like changing the song from the last chapter that represents my life to Best Day of My Life by American Authors. XD

I must have you in suspense by now.

I just got a phone call from my local library. Now you might be thinking, "What, did her favorite book just come in and is ready to be picked up?" Nope something far better.

A couple weeks ago, I entered a writing contest at the library. There were two divisions: the K-5th graders and the 6th-12th graders (me). You probably know where this is going now.

The call said that I won first place in the 6th-12th graders competition.

I know right?! I could barely contain my joy when talking to the woman who called. I was literally crying tears of happiness. XD I was so happy. I mean, it's cool to get a KINDLE FIRE 5TH GEN AND $25 AMAZON GIFT CARD as a prize, but doesn't it feel even cooler when you won by actually doing something to get it?! When I hung up, I walked around my room for at least five minutes crying and whispering "Oh my god" to myself. I was so astounded. I was so emotional for a good half an hour after the call. XD I had to wait a little while to call my parents.

So now we've gone to get it and I am excited!!! Here is the box it came in:

This will be my solution to my old phone problem, since it is new. I can just use the new features on my kindle. I think I will update AWP from it too, so that my phone doesn't get over crowded with memes when I also am taking regular pictures. XD
