Woops! Time got away from me :3. Thanks for waiting! I'm ready to tell you about my wonderful weekend. Well, it didn't only take up the weekend. It lasted from Sunday to Tuesday.

Sunday, we drove to the school, then boarded an amazing bus (reclinable seats, seatbelts, and a mini bathroom!). The bus took us to a boat and the boat took us to the camp. We got oriented and found our cabins (I had two really good friends as cabin mates- yay!). I think there was some free beach time, then dinner, walking along the beach to see seals, and campfire. My cabin mates and I recited a poem we've been working on for a little while (other kids recited their poems too). We cooked s'mores at the campfire. Then it was bedtime. I got the top bunk for all the nights. :D

Monday, we had to get up really early (5:45!!! XP) because we went tide pooling. Somewhere in there (It might have been next) we got a talk from a specialist about sea stars. Then we walked back down to the beach to do this sea star counting survey. We also did dissecting of sea animals, solving of work sheets, and walking down to an estuary to look at different levels of land by water. While we were at the estuary, my group found about 14 clams!! Of course, we did get to stop for lunch, snacks, and dinner.

Some of the things I mentioned on Monday might have been on Tuesday too (they kind of run together in my memory -_-). A lot of Tuesday was cleaning up of cabins and bathrooms and the main lodge. Sadly we had to leave in the middle of the day, but I guess we gotta go home sometime! Some of my friends and I did a choose-your-own-adventure story made up by a friend. I got tied up by a baby goose XD.

Well, that just about sums up my coast trip. It was fun, and I'll miss the place. But my parents and I want to go back, so that will probably happen sometime! That's all for now. Thanks for reading. Vote, comment, and eat cupcakes!!
