What's up, I am DemonicAngel and welcome to my new story. This will be entirely Sonic based as I am a fan of the franchise. I don't own any of the actual franchise except my OC. So, let's jump right into it.

Inside Azura's Mind

"Where am I?" An azure colored hedgehog said. He was currently walking around darkness being the only light in it. He had a confused look on his face not knowing his surroundings. All of a sudden, a bright light consumes the hedgehog as something was calling him.

Reality

"Hey! Get up intruder!" A red creature said poking the azure colored hedgehog. A groan emerged from him as the red creature jumps back readying its gloved fists.

"Where am I?" The hedgehog asks slowly sitting up placing a hand in his hair/quills. The hedgehog was having a migraine as the red creature growls in anger.

"State your name and reason for wanting to steal the Master Emerald!" The red creature yelled. The hedgehog stared at the red creature confused.

"...What's a 'Master Emerald'?" The hedgehog asks causing the red creature to went wide eyed and lower his hands. He raised a glove pointing behind him. Unfortunately, the hedgehog saw that his glove had two finger places: one for four fingers and one for his thumb. His shook that off looking behind him. The hedgehog's eyes widen at the massive light green emerald behind him.

"Oh that..." The hedgehog said slowly getting up. He wore a white shirt with a black jacket over it as he groans in pain. The red creature quickly walked over helping him stand.

"Don't move so quickly," The red creature said as the hedgehog nods. The hedgehog was wearing black jeans and green and blue sneakers that appeared custom-made. The red creature felt fingerless gloves touching his skin as he helped the hedgehog over to the stairs to sit down then joined him.

"Well, you don't look like a thief from what I can tell," the red creature said giving the hedgehog a thumbs up and smirk, "I'm Knuckles the Echidna. What's yours, stranger?"

The hedgehog's eyes were closed as if being a newborn child. He slowly opened them revealing a magenta color to them.

"My name is Azura the Hedgehog," Azura said to Knuckles who nodded.

"You're wearing a full set of clothes there Azura," Knuckles said, "Where did you come from?"

"..." Azura was silent as his hands tightened slightly, "I can't remember."

"You do you mean?" Knuckles asks.

"That's what I mean, i can't remember anything before appearing... Where am I?" Azura asks looking around.

"Angel Island, at the Master Emerald Shrine," Knuckles replied as Azura nodded, "We've been living with the humans for a while."

"We've?" Azura asks causing Knuckles to slam his fist into his other hand having a forgetting look.

"Oh right, I'm not the only one who was teleported here by the Master Emerald," Knuckles says, "There are others like me inhabiting in the city."

"So... Other Echidnas?" Azura replies

"What?! No, wrong choice of words. I meant other inhabitants from where I'm from," Knuckles said chuckling a bit.

"Like who?" Azura asks kicking his legs into the air.

"Well, there's Tails, Cream, and my rival, Sonic," Knuckles said causing Azura to freeze as he grabs his head with both hands.

"Sonic..." Azura said gritting his teeth in pain. Knuckles nods looking at Azura them went wide eyed noticing the golden energy outlining Azura's body.

"Woah... You good?" Knuckles asks as Azura nods calming down. Azura remember something when he heard Sonic's name. Looking over at Knuckles, he smiled.

"Can we go meet him?" Azura asks as Knuckles nods getting up.

"I was already planning on that but then you came along," Knuckles said as Azura jumped up quickly shocking Knuckles.

"Woah! You just moved like Sonic!" Knuckles exclaimed causing Azura to raise an eyebrow.

"Let's get going..." Azura said taking off with a Sonic boom sounding as soon as he took one step. An azure blur zoomed towards the edge of the island as Knuckles ran not being able to keep up with Azura.

"He's faster than Sonic," Knuckles said with wide eyes then smirking slightly.

Azura slid to a stop looking over the edge as he was floating over water. Frowning slightly, he turned to face the Echidna.

"We're floating?" Azura asks as Knuckles nods.

"It's the power of the Master Emerald that keeps it afloat," Knuckles said. Azura nods thinking slightly as another wave of pain shot through him. Azura opens his eyes as he began levitating into the air. An emerald green glow surrounded his body as he turns to look at the bewildered Echidna.

"You float like Silver?" Knuckles asks.

"Another one of your friends?" Azura asks as Knuckles nods.

"I mean, I can't say cause I haven't met him or her," Azura replies. Knuckles nods as he jumps somersaulting in the air and begins to glide towards the city with Azura flying next to him with a curious look on his face which then turned to a look of excitement.

So, this is the first chapter where Azura wakes up on Angel Island. Before I forget, I'll be following the same structure as Sonic X for this entire book. Hopefully, you enjoy this book and give me tips. Peace out!
