When I was a kid, dad used to take me and Carson to see the Royal zoo, which was opened for commoners, once every year. It was not like our common zoo with normal wild animals or exotic birds. We had a chance to watch rare creatures, that could only be found in story books or myths. Some were very frightening, others were mesmerizing. But, like other kids, I was not very happy to see them in cages. I always imagined, how the creatures must feel, behind the bars, in chains. I felt pity for them. No one deserves to be caged and inspected by others. I hated it for some reason. Today..I can relate to that incident.

"What do you mean by everyone?" I asked, not liking the fact that, this is something, I can't avoid. "As in The entire Royal court members, The Ambassadors? The commeners and even some very special guest, that only shows up on special occasions, like Wedding or Coronation. This gathering is important" Said Abigail, fixing my 'attire'. "And I have to be on the stage? Why on the stage and not behind it?" I asked, wiping the sweat formed on my face. She meets my eyes through the mirror and smiled. "Because you're family." She said, placing her chin on my shoulder. I blinked once, twice and she sighed. "Father will explain everything to you. Now come on, they have all arrived already." She said, walking away, leaving me no choice but to follow her.

This afternoon, when I woke up from my slumber, I was overwhelmed with the news that, loads of very important guests are arriving this evening to celebrate our victory on the Rouges. I mean yeah, It definitely calls for celebration, but me being the centre of attention, didn't sit right with me. Like I said, zoo animal. I almost fell from my bed startled, when found Abigail, Alison and the Two Queen mothers eyeing me amused, in Drake's arms. Don't they know, how to knock? Drake laughed and then was kicked out from his own room, half naked.

"You look absolutely gorgeous." Gasped Saphira, when Abigail and me joined the other ladies, down the corridor. "See? I told you. It will look amazing on her. Brings out her caramel skin more." Saraphina clapped, Like she was the dress designer. I wanted to say, this is too much, but when I saw how the others were all dressed, similar to mine, I decided against it. "Ready, all of you?" Came a deep voice, chilling me to the core. The king. No matter how many times, I'm in his presence, I'll never get used to it. He had that aura surrounding him. Then he turned his gaze at me and his hard demeanour turned into a very soft and gentle one, instantly. I guess he figured, I don't feel comfortable around him.

"Tiara? How are you doing child?" He asked, offering me both of his hands to take. Reluctantly, but slowly I walked towards him, not meaning to make him feel offended. "I'm doing great. Thankyou, for asking my lord." I said, smiling up at him. "You look just like a queen." He said, making me blush.  "Thank you" I said, looking down. "Chin up princess, or the crown slips." Said Firner. I couldn't understood the hidden meaning behind his words and let it slide by raising my head, to meet his eyes. There is this look in his eyes, that I just can't figure out yet. Before I could probe more into it, my mates arrived, looking as breathtaking as ever. I checked, if I was drooling.

Nyx laughed, making me roll my eyes at her. Yeah? You try that with their beasts surrounding you. That made her shut up. That's what I thought. Their eyes met mine and stopped mid conversation, taking me all in. God! This is so ambarrassing. Not infront of their parents please. I don't know, where to look. That's when I recalled, Firner's warning earlier and met their gazes, smiling. They just keep gesturing my length and exchanging looks, admiring me. "She looks beautiful, isn't she?" Asked Noori suddenly, giving words to their reactions. They all nodded in agreement, but couldn't speak. Did I just leave them speechless?

"Let's go" Said Noori, pulling us out of this acward situation. I thanked her in my mind and she smirked knowingly. When we all entered the hallway towards the ball room, I started panicking. So many people? I gulped. Suddenly, Firner halted mid walk and turned to face me. "Tiara? These people have come to see you. All of them. You saved them from danger that were lurking in the nights. You gave them a future, by killing the Rouge leader. All of them lost someone dear to them, to these brainless rouges. They are all here to show their gratitude and some are here to show you their respect. So hold your head high and walk among them, because they want to see the queen, they have decided to follow from now on." He said, making me gulp.

Me? Queen? "I don't understand." I said, frozen to my spot. "They are here to see their protector, the queen. It's time, I get down from my throne and the next leader takes my place." He said, holding my shoulders, when he said, next leader. "I can't...I can't do it. I'm not what you think. I'm just..I'm." Who am I? It's an honor to bear the crown, keeper. The world has recognized our power and they want to see us lead them to the future. "I'm not ready to take such responsibility. I'm not as strong as you are, my king." I said, looking at Firner.

"Yes You're. Don't underestimate yourself, child. You know who you are. Look inside you. You're the strongest being walking on earth today. And to prove that, I'll let you meet those, who can introduce you, to the real you. Come. Don't be afraid. It's not the time to hide away. It's time you find the purpose of your life and take your rightful place." He said, standing up straight. I looked back at my new found family, and My mates. They all gave me proud smiles, encouraging me to walk ahead. When I turned around again slowly, I found Firner already offering his elbow for me to take.

Although, I'm not very sure, if I'm ready to take such a big step, I snaked my arms in his and took a long breath, straightening my hunched backbone and walked forward, followed by my mates, and then the others, not far behind. As soon as we entered the ball room, people started cheering for us. The only thing, I could figure out from their slogan is, Goddess Tiara. What the?we walked through the crowd and I felt releaved when I saw familiar faces. Gerald, Fiona and Helen. Why are they in the crowd and not with me right now? Before I could word my concerns, Drake went ahead of me, wishpered something to the guards and the next thing I know, They were lead inside the protective circle, towards us.

I looked up at Firner for permission and he nodded his head for me to go. As soon as Helen was closer, I pulled her into a hug, savoring her sweet scent. She laughed and patted my back soothingly. "I'm so proud of you." She said, kissing my cheeks. "I don't know, if I can do it Helen." I said. "Trust me you can. I always thought, you were made for bigger things. Now I know." She said, kissing my cheeks again. "Hate to interrupt but, we're in line." Said Fiona, making me laugh. "I missed you so much." She said, hugging me to her. "After this, whatever this is, you're spending a whole week with me to compensate for the time we didn't see each other.

Also, I have something very important to tell you." She said, wishpering in my ears. My eyes widened and for the first time after I woke up today, my face lit up. "Really? How far along?" My best friend is pregnant? "14 weeks. I found just two days back." I looked at Gerald and he looked really happy. "Oh my god Gerald! I'm going to be an aunt. I love you guys." I said, hugging them both together.

"We can celebrate later but for now, I want you to go back there..." He pointed at the stage. "...and face your fears." He said, making me smile. He smiled back. "We'll be here. Go" he said, pushing me forward. I gave one last lingering look at them and walked towards my mates and the King who were smiling wide, as I walked towards them with the same happiness. I'm going to be an aunt! My mates must have felt my happiness through our bonds and they finally looked releaved. "Ready?" Asked Drake, placing a hand behind my back. "As ready as I could be." I said, stepping on the stage.

They introduced me to many Royal reprentatives, attending the gathering from different parts of the world. I met all the Nobels, Royal court members, High officials and Human Ambassadors too. There were also Fae king and the Princess, like real fairy and Vampire king and his mate. The Alphas of shifters. Everyone were very welcoming and thrilled to meet me. Although, I'm not crowned yet, they were still addressing me as queen, while starting a conversation. Are they so sure, I can lead them? We can lead them keeper. They have faith in us. We were born to rule. Accept your fate. Said Nyx, firmly. Was is just me, this clueless and the entire world knew about my own party. How was that fair?

"Are you ready now to wear the crown, my dear?" Asked Firner, coming closer to me. I took a deep breath. "The crown is heavy but, I still accept the weight." I said, making him nod in approval. "So proud of you." He said, putting his hands on my shoulder and squeezing it. "Thanks dad." The words were out of my mouth before the realization hit me. Everyone on the stage froze, including me, to see how the former king would react to my solecism. He just smiled wide. "Couldn't ask for a better daughter, my pride." He said, holding my face and kissing my forehead, accepting me as his own. Then he turned to the audience and announced.

"My people! Thank you all for excepting my invitation and bring your presence here, on such a short notice. Today is the day, I pronounce my new successor and let them wear the crown, I have been carrying since my father found me worthy of it. This day, I proudly present to you, my successor, my Pride, my hope, My daughter" He looked down at me with his gentle eyes. "Who would carry my name and Fame, till she finds someone else worthy for this crown. I present to you, your new protector, Tiara Gold Ancalagon! The New Queen of Supernaturals!" And the ball room erupted with applause and cheering, as an acceptance for me. He gave me his name? I tried real hard not to cry the happy tears.

"Ready to take the oath, my child?" He asked, holding my hands. "Yes." I said confidently. All of a sudden I feel like, I'm so ready to win the world. They made me sit on a high chair. Noori, the king, the queens, my mates, the fae princess and few other Royals blessed the crown and then it was placed over my head. It's so overwhelming, that I felt like I'm being possessed by some Goddess. When the time of oath came, I surprised everyone, including myself, as my entire demeanour changed to someone holding much power and I could say words on the oath book, without even looking at them. That proves, I was not a mere human anymore. I was the queen of the Supernaturals, mated to Five dragons and future of an entire race and meant to do great things.
