She's ready. She's through the test and need just a little provocation to take her true form. If it's not today then when? I have waited for this day for years now. Her fire is ready to be released. I saw the little human, or what's left of it, climb down the fortress carefully. Scared yet brave at heart. Broken yet stronger like never. Lost yet ready to win any war coming her way. My keeper, it's time we meet.

Kenneth

Fuck! How long we have to do this? I so wanted to sleep with my mate today but thanks to my heat, I'm now scared to death to even touch her. I wish these heat passes by so that I can convince my mate to complete the process. It's really painful to be around her and not have her. I'm just barely holding my sanity because of the herbs. Imagine if she's not ready for another 6 months, we have to go through this torture again and again. I couldn't leave her alone in the fortress like when my brothers offered. As their beasts are going crazy to mate her. Mine is no different.

Mate left. What? Mate. Left! Keeper.

I turned around in time to find her faint scent in my room. Was she here? Did she see me? Shit! Why didn't I sense her before? I walked faster towards the door, only to find the guard appointed for Tiara in a submissive position, His sword in his hands offering me, head bowed. The position when someone is ready for their punishment. "Rise" I order for him to stand. "Explain why you're not on your duty guarding my mate?" He was literally shivering. "My lord, I couldn't deny her order. She wanted to enter your chambers. I tried to stop her but she was determined to..."

I raised my hand for him to stop. "Get back to your post. Next time, cut your head yourself." I said, walking past him towards my mates room. Mate not here Keeper. Said my beast. Just then all my brothers tried to mind link me at once with panic filled voice. Only one thing in common. Tiara is not in the fort. I ran  into her room only to find it empty and her bag gone. Why did she leave? Confused, I came out hurriedly. "Guards!" My thunderous voice vibrated in the castle, compelling every lower rank dragon and supernatural to submit. They were in front of me in seconds. "Did anyone see my mate going out of the fort?" They looked at each other confused.

"No sir. We were on duty. No one came in or out, other then your brothers, who went for hunting." Said one guard. "Explain then, how did my mate vanished from the castle without anyone noticing her?!" What a bunch of loosers. "Spread around. Find her. She must not have gone far. If she's hurt any way, you all would be behaded!" I roared and ran towards the big windows and jumped down, giving my beast the control. Falkor do you sense her? He didn't answer to me. Falkor? Mate gone keeper. Mate gone. What? How's it possible? She can't run that fast. It's still dark. She's sleepless and tired. Find her Falkor! She must be in danger. It's a sloppy mountain. We don't want her to fall and get injured.

I heard my brothers beasts coming my way. Did you find her? I asked. She's no where damit. I can't even smell her. Said Blaze. Why the hell she left the castle anyways? Wasn't she sleeping? Asked Drake. She came to find us. Maybe she couldn't sleep. The guard said, she left my room crying. I have no idea what happened. I still don't get it, why she had an urge to run away. Did she see or heard something while in your room? Asked Brenton. Other than me getting off thinking and fantasizing her, no. Nothing. Did I scared her off with my kinks. But I didn't call her name. There is no reason for her to get offended or scared. I confessed.

I saw Drake getting back to his human form and we all followed suit. "You didn't scare her Damitt. You made her feel insecure. We all did." Said Drake, walking towards the forest. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "I mean, remember the conversation before we left her to rest?" We all nodded. "Helper, services, unmade made, your kinky words, rings any bell?" Then it hit me. "Shit! Did she...was she in an impression that we are spending our nights with female helpers?" I wanted to curse myself for leaving her alone to her imaginations. He sighed. "That's the best comes to my mind right now." Said Drake making us all groan.

"That stupid girl. Once I get my hands on her, she's not leaving my sight, even if I have to go pee, latching her to my side." Gritted Blaze. "Let's find her first then we can decide her punishment. Although it was stupid of us to leave her alone." I muttered. I just hope we don't regret our decision. We searched the area for the whole night, making sure we searched every corner, every rock and every slop and trees. "She's no where. Where the hell her little feet took her so fast in an unknown forest?" Asked Drake. "It's impossible to hide in here, unless someone had their hands on her." Suggested Brenton.

"Are you saying Kaiden?" I asked worried. "No. Worse. That fucking Rouge!" He spat, making me stop absurdly. "I'll fucking roast his ass in the hell fire if he has anything to do with it. He has no idea...." I was interrupted by a guard approaching. "My lord! We found Lord Kaiden's beast. There's something else but not sure it's her...your mate." He hesitated making us run towards the direction he pointed. As soon as we reached there, my Beast roared. Tiara's smell was overwhelming this whole area and the sight of Kaiden's beast fighting to get free from the hold of the guards. Let Doryu free! Mate! Mate! His beast cried. "Where the fuck is Tiara?!" Screemed Drake. My thoughts exactly.

"Sire?...it's here." Pointed the guard towards two piles of burned flesh. One was like non recognizable and the other..."No.No. it's not her. It can't be her. It's not her! What the hell happened here Doryu!? What did you do to her?!" I screemed at my brother's beast. I shifted immediately into my beast and attacked him. "I want Kaiden out. What the fuck he do to my mate?!" I roared. Doryu no harm mate. We late. Rouge killed mate." I couldn't register anything else he said. Only thing I hear was, my mate was..dead?

I lost to my beast and started attacking Doryu. He took it without fighting back. My mate died because of him. Because of him we had to hid her here. And she ran away because of me. My beast cried for the loss of our mate. I failed to protect her. We failed to protect her. What kind of mate that makes me? I want to kill myself. I want to kill everyone. I want to burn everything. It's over. It's all over. I'm sorry Tiara. Forgive me. What am I going to do now? Maybe I'll see you in after life. I closed my eyes and my beast roared in agony.

Blaze

No. This is not true. Heavens can't be this cruel. My mate can't be dead. As if we were stuck by a lightening, we stood there, surrounding the lifeless body of our beautiful mate. Everything is burned. Only half of her face is visible and recognizable. God know how long we stayed like that. The sun is in the verge of rising, indicating a new beginning but for me, it's the end. I didn't realize how much she meant to me until now. I will never be able to live this worthless life without her. It's meaningless. I couldn't even confess my love to her and now she's gone. I failed her. I'm the worst mate ever. No. I don't have any right to call myself her mate. Now I understand. The heavens took her because she deserved better. Yes she does.

Brenton

I won't let you go. I have never loved anyone, like I loved you. I was ready to change for her. She saw the good in me. She loved me for me. I can't let her go. I would be left with nothing. I'll become the empty shell I always was without her. I had seen a future with her. She can't take it away from me. "Come back!come back!! You can't leave me Tiara! Come back!"

Drake

I wish I could cry like them. I want to screem like them but something tells me this is not the end. Even though my beast is quite, he is very observant. Feel mate keeper. Mate not dead. Mate evolving. I have no idea what he meant because clearly, she's gone. I looked at my last brother. Kaiden. He's just lying his head on the cave stone and eyes leaking. I know it's not his fault that Tiara is gone but I need to know what happened. I walked towards him and crouched down. "What happened? " I asked. He turned to face me. "I went to see her. She wasn't there. I heard one of the Rouges talking that they saw you guys flying this way. I was sure you guys bought her here.

When I reached here I saw that fucking Rogue Nolan trying to drag her somewhere. We fought but he was using some kind of witchcraft to weaken me and before I know it..." he stopped. "What happened next?" I encouraged. "They were both in flames. I couldn't save her Drake. I saw her burn to crisp right infront of my eyes and I was spell bound not to move. Her screem for help are still ringing in my ears. Do me a favor and kill me brother because those screems are going to haunt me forever." He finished. I don't understand. How did they both caught in fire? If Nolan wanted to burn her, he couldn't do it in his human form and if he was using some kind of witchcraft like Kaiden mentioned, why would he kill himself?

"My lords? What are the orders?" Asked a guard. Frankly speaking, I have no idea. "You all go back. Me and my brothers will mourn our mate for a while longer." I said, looking at the burn to crisp black ashes of my mate. I gulped. A sudden pain took over my entire chest. I'm finally hit with the loss of my mate. "We need to take the ashes to her family." I said, to my brothers. Nobody spoke. I guess, I'll be the one to carry this burden too. I walked towards the pile of ashes and was figuring how to carry them all when I notice something strange.

"Guys? Was her eyes closed when we found her?" How did her eyes close? "Did anyone touch her? I asked, taking a step back. They all looked at me confused. Suddenly the first Sunray fall upon us, finally the corpes or what's left of it. I heard a fire sizzling somewhere. "You heard that?" Said Brenton, in alert. We heard it again. "Yes, I heard. we all heard it."  It happened again and this time, the sound came from the piles of our mate. "What's happening? " Said Kaiden, walking towards us. "No idea but I'm sure, it came from here." Pointed Blaze at our mates ashes.

The wind blew slowly and the ashes caught fire all of a sudden. "Shit! No. Guys cover it. The wind will blow her away!" Screemed Kenneth. But what can I do? How can I stop the fire or the wind? The small fire suddenly took the shape of a big halo like it was feeded the  oil. I have only seen this kind of fire similar in...my thought got stuck in my brain when I saw a furious screeching sound coming out of the fire and a fiery bird took off into the sky spreading her wings like Hell fire. "What the fuck!"

Did my mate just turned into a fucking Phoenix? We all lost in our own thoughts, couldn't take our eyes from the breathtaking view in the sky. The most beautiful and bright Phoenix I have ever seen, flying excitedly over us. She was shining brighter than the sun. As if she was the sun. Mate! Screemed my beast. I cried out happily knowing my mate is not dead. We all waited for her excitedly to come down and know more about her transformation. After sometime her beautiful Phoenix landed on the ground and slowly she started to turn back.

My eyes almost bulged out, looking at her eternal beauty. She was all in her naked glory. Golden rays making her caramal skin shine. Eyes and hair still glowing with fire. Body moulded like a seductress. A generous Mount of curves intensifying her beauty. She tilted her head and scanned the area around her Curiously. Then she looked at each of us with blank faces. Does she not recognize us? "Tiara?" Called Kenneth. She turned her head to him. Then slowly walked towards him and stood chest to chest. "Nyx is my name. Tiara is my keeper. You hurt her...you hurt me." She said, putting her palm on his chest where the heart is and Kenneth screemed in agony.

We were about to run to him when she took her palm off leaving a burning fiery symbol of red Phoenix behind. "She marked him." Mummered Kaiden. She then turned to Kaiden and walked towards him. He was so dumbfounded by all this, I'm not sure he saw this coming. She pulled him down by his neck and looked into his eyes. "You want me to mark you too?" She asked. Who would be an idiot to say no to it. She did the same to him and a similar pattern formed on his chest.

She took a step back and walked towards where Brenton and Blaze were standing. "You're all my Keepers mate. I accept you all as my mate too." She said, placing her both hands on their chest, and they both closed their eyes while taking the burn. Resulting her marking them too. Then she turned to me and smiled. I smiled back and walked towards her. She's my queen. I'll go to her and bare her marks happily. I stood tall closer to her and looked into her burning orange eyes. She looked breathtakingly beautiful.

"Drake. You all unintentionally hurt Tiara's feelings. She would want to run away from you again. It's not up to me to prove to her your loyalty. You need to work hard to prove your love towards her. She needed this transformation as much as she needed you guys. This transformation has bought back some dark and painfull memories of her past. She would need all her mates to get over that pain. Take care of her." She said, placing her hand on my chest burning it. "Fuck!" I cursed. It felt like she was marking her name in my heart. But I'm happy. "I would take any pain, to be with my mate." I wishpered. She smiled and finally the fire in her eyes died.

Her honey colour eyes are back and she fell exausted into my arms. My brothers ran to me in a hurry. "Is she alright" I smiled down at her passout form. "She will be." I said smiling at all of them, which they returned. "My question still unanswered though. How the fuck our mate turned into a Phoenix?" Said Kaiden. "Now that's a million dollars question and only one person can answer it." I pointed down. We all looked down at our all so innocent looking sleeping mate, who is now an unsolved mystery to us, a puzzle only she can help to solve.
