Peter stands outside of Calvin's classroom, his leg bouncing with impatience, waiting for the school bell to ring. Finally, after what feels like forever, it goes off, and a swarm of people exit the classrooms. He manages to find Calvin in the crowd and drags him to an emptier part of the building.
"Eager are you?" Calvin chuckles as Peter looks around, making sure no one can hear them.
"For what?" Peter asks, distracted.
"We were gonna go out somewhere, remember?" Calvin says, the smile fading from his face. "We talked about it earlier." Peter inwardly cringes.
"I completely forgot, I was focussing on Flash," he whispers. Calvin immediately tenses up and Peter sees his fists clench.
"Flash?"
Peter quickly recounts the last hour, concluding with the bald guy giving Flash the phone number.
"So you're going to follow him home?" Calvin asks cautiously.
"I have to find out what he knows. That guy looked too shifty to not investigate," Peter replies. They make it to the front doors of the school and Peter stops to face Calvin. "If it's nothing serious, I'll come straight to yours, okay?" he says. Calvin sighs but nods.
"Sure. Call me when you're on your way back." He rests his hands on Peter's shoulders and gives him a light kiss on the cheek before going through the doors. Peter heads in the opposite direction to a nearby alley and quickly changes into his Spider-Man suit which is shoved into the bottom of his bag. After stumbling around trying to get it on, he gets Karen to track Flash and swings over to his address.

Peter peers through a window and sees Flash sitting on the end of a bed in what he assumes to be his room. He's holding his phone, the piece of paper with the number lying next to him, and types in the number. Knowing that if Flash sees him it could give away everything, Peter perches just below the window sill, out of view from the window, and listens as Flash calls the number.
"Who is this?" a voice picks up on the other end. Peter can't make out who it is as it's through the phone but he swears he vaguely recognises it.
"Uh, this is Flash Thompson. Some guy gave me this number and told me to call you," he replies, clearly more nervous than he was earlier.
"So you're the kid one of my associates met," the other caller says. "Okay, tell me everything you know about Spider-Man."
"His real name is Peter Parker," Flash says. "He goes to Midtown with me, and he lives in Queens."
Peter almost passes out from shock. How the hell does Flash know who he is?! He expected Flash to be dealing with some shady stuff based on his behaviour before, but he didn't realise that he was included in all of this.
"Go on," the voice says eagerly. Anger fills Peter as Flash lists out details about him. His address, his route home, even his phone number. He has to restrain himself from smashing through Flash's window and punching him the face until he's unconscious. The only thing stopping him is knowing that May is safe and staying at a friend's house for the next few days, and so out of the way of any possible home attacks.
"And you're sure it's him?" the other person says. "I don't want to be collecting useless facts about some child."
"I'm sure," Flash says. "I overheard him talking to his boyfriend about it at school." Flashbacks race back to Peter and he remembers wondering why Flash was standing by that classroom after he spoke to Calvin when he was meant to be in his class. He must have been going to class and seen him pull Calvin into the classroom and overheard everything. Peter inwardly smacks and yells at himself for being so stupid as to talk about his secret identity in public.
"Boyfriend?" the other caller asks. Peter instantly freezes up and forgets about Flash knowing everything about him. If this guy finds out even so much as Calvin's name, he could be in harm's way. The worst scenarios he can imagine race through Peter's head. Calvin could be tortured for information, or used to get him to talk, or even be kill- he makes his mind go blank. If that ever happened he'd never be able to forgive himself.
"Yeah, they're always hanging out together and stuff," Flash replies, grimacing a bit.
"What's this boy's name?" the voice says. There are a few seconds of silence and Peter starts to think maybe Flash won't tell whoever he's on the phone with.
"... It's..." he hesitates, causing him to tense up even more.
"Don't say it," Peter whispers, his fists clenching. "Please don't say it."
"It's..." There's an irritated sigh from the other end of the phone.
"If you don't spit it out now, I'll send someone to make you say it," the voice growls. Flash gulps before giving in.
"... It's Calvin Lawrence."
As soon as Calvin's name leaves his mouth, Peter loses control and swings himself through the window, sending shattered glass everywhere. Flash screams and drops to the floor, curled up. Peter picks up the phone lying a few metres away and crushes it in his hand before flinging it out of the window. He strides over to Flash, rips off his mask, and lifts him off of the ground, holding him in the air by his collar.
"Why did you do that?!" he yells at Flash, his eyes watering and cheeks burning red. Flash squirms and for the first time, looks at him with fear.
"I-I had to!" he squeaks. "He told me too!" Peter drops him onto the floor and he gasps for air.
"You had no right," Peter whispers, before pulling his mask back on and leaping out of the broken window.
