"When can he leave?" I asked the nurse

"Probably tomorrow" she smiled and walked out of the room

"Chanel.." Xander started "I'm scared.." he whispers

"Of what?" I asked "Doctors said you're gonna be fine"

"No.." he sighed "I'm scared I die.."

"What?" I said in confusion

"Everyone around you is dying, Chanel. I'm scared I do too"

"That really hurt but it's true.." I sat down and sighed "but I don't know what to do about it.."

"Let's leave somewhere.. Travel" he looked at me with a small smile on his face "You've always wanted to travel"

"Xander.." I started and held his hand, "You said you loved me... I-I totally respect that and I-I'm really happy you feel this way about me... But I don't feel the same" I tightened my hand in his "I feel like you're a great friend of mine, my brother... the only person who was there.."

His face slowly dropped and his hand let go of mine "I totally understand" he lays back straight on the bed and closes his eyes

"Why the fuck isn't she answering?" I asked Dane

"Maybe she's planning something.. doing something.. I don't know" he suggested

"I don't know, Dane" I sighed sitting down "I'm worried"

We were sitting in the hospital's cafeteria, drinking coffee as we spoke. The phone disturbed our silence as it rang revealing Mia's number.

"Hello. Mia?" I answered

"Hey Friend" she answered

"Where the hell were you?" I yelled

"Don't scream in my ear, mate." She said sarcastically "So.. I found something interesting here"

"What?" I stood up from my chair followed by Dane who was looking at me in frenzy "Where?"

"In my baby Xander's basement." She stated, "Better come fast." She stated then the line was cut

"What's happening?" Dane asked as I put the phone in my pocket, collecting my things from on the table "Mia found something in Xander's house. She wants us there"

"Found something.." he whispers softly as if he was shocked, disappointed. He looked at me then shook his head "I don't think it is him, Leo"

"Let's go Dane" i patted his shoulder and walked infront of him as he followed closely behind me

Chanel

"Can't I leave today?" He asked breaking the silence

"I can go ask the doctor for you.."

"Yeah, I'd like that. Thank you."

I walked out of the room to the doctor's office. He welcomed me in and signed me to sit down which I obeyed.

"Hello doctor, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your work... I just wanted to ask if there's a possibility of Xander being able to leave today?"

"Today?" He asked

"Yes sir" I answered "If it's about people watching over him, I can take care of him until he fully heals"

"I don't mind at all, Miss Chanel. However, there were detectives who wanted to ask him about what happened."

"They are welcome at home, where he would be in a bit better environment.. to be honest with you, hospitals are really negative and they really scare me.."

"Fine... He can leave today" he said "but please take care, and if anything happens please contact me"

"Will do," I said standing up "Thank you so much" I walked out of the office and into Xander's room

"Hey" I smiled "Guess who's leaving," I said excitedly

"Really?" He smiled

"Yes sir" I laughed "Let's get going"

We spend an hour getting everything ready to leave and we indeed left the room and walked out of the hospital.

I called Leo but he told me he and Dane have some things to take care of but he said that Dane forgot his car keys and that we're allowed to take it

We put the bags in the car and I walked to the driver seat only to be stopped by Xander asking "Can I drive?"

"Xander, you just came out of the hospital. Are you kidding?"

"I want to drive, Chanel," he said "I miss driving, I only feel free when in driving. Just for a few minutes at least. Please" he begged

I thought of it for a second and looked at him "Fine. But please drive slowly and carefully so your arm doesn't hurt and just for a few minutes"

"Yes ma'am" he smiled and got inside the car

I got into the passenger's seat and rested back and looked at him. He looked focused, scared, maybe nervous. I reached to his hand on the steering wheel and smiled at him "It's okay... It's going to be fine"

"Yeah.." he cracked a smile back and turned the engine on and slowly drove away.

The drive was slow. Xander was taking care of every single thing on the road. He locked the doors and drove like a beginner as if he never drove before.

"You know Chan.." he started and I hummed in response

"I wished you'd love me back" he stated

"Xander.." I sighed "I'm sorry.."

"Yeah yeah I know" he looked at me "I am too"

"You are what?"

"Sorry"

"For what, Xan. You didn't do anything." I smiled at him and shook my head

'Not yet.." he stopped the car and looked at me. His face changed suddenly, it's like the light went out... My heart started pounding at a rapid pace, not understanding why... but fear crept inside me and an unsettling feeling began to surface inside me.

"Xan, you're scaring me" I chuckled nervously

"I loved you with all my heart... I was willing to lose my brother to you... I gave up everything to stay with you. You were the worst human being I've ever known, but I loved you. You were an arrogant piece of shit who no one loved or cared about, but I did. Then you let me go and try to sneak your way back to my brother, you go to that party full of horny teenagers, but you liked that.. the attention. You loved it. I begged you to stay mine... you chose to be a fucking slut"

"Xander.. what?" My brain was screaming my heart was clenched the things he was saying burnt me alive

"Shut up!" He screamed "You went to that party with Joel and I told you not to.. I warned you from it. I told you-you shouldn't go. I knew you would, I made sure that if you go; you won't come back." He smirked "and you didn't"

He rested back on the seat and looked at me "When I thought we had another chance. Like it's our life, take two. I tried to make you a new person.. a better one" he sighed and shook his head "then again you end up with another guy. I thought we actually had a chance this time. It's like God sent it to me to be happy with you. You end up selling me again."

"Xander.. i-"

"Shhhh" he covered my lips "I don't want to listen to your voice," he said pushing my head back "My plan shouldn't have failed when I emtied the fluid from the breaks, but it did, and I take full responsibility of that. This time though, I won't fail" he straightened his back and buckled his seatbelt then turned the engine on

He leaned in, put a hand behind my head and pulled me into a kiss "We will always be together. You can't be anyone else's" he said looking into my eyes as my heart started accelerating and my breathing became heavy with terror

He cracked his neck and stretched his hand. He reached out to release the brakes and shifted the gear and looked at me one last time before aggressively pressing on the gas.

I started panting as fast as the car was going "Xander please" I cried "Please I'm sorry. I'll do anything you want. I'll be with you but please don't do this to me. Please, Xander" I begged but he had no expression on his face as if he couldn't hear me.

I was unable to breathe, the pressure got to my ear, my heart rate increased more than it was and thud against my chest, my mouth went dry and my windpipe was closing up, tears streamed down my face as my eyes started getting blurry causing me dizziness.

"Joel! Don't leave me at this party!" I screamed

"Oh honey I'll try," he said sarcastically

I blinked fast

"I love you, Chanel"

"I love you so much, Xander"

I tried gasping for air

"We will always be sisters"

"I'm so lucky I have you, Irene"

I started grabbing on anything I can

"Good morning stalker" I smiled at Leo

"Chanel...You're beautiful" he whispered.

I started feeling nauseous

"Don't go to this party, Chanel"

"It's a normal party, Xan"

"Dane, this needs to end"

Different visions flashed before my eyes about my life. Everything, things I should and shouldn't remember.

Just when I snapped out of all of them, Xander suddenly turned the steering wheel right and pressed hard on the breaks.
