So are main characters are Lionblaze, Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, and Dovewing in this story. I do think all these characters are interesting and have some good character traits. The fact they have super powers is kinda farfetched but it is an interesting concept. I will be looking at each one of these main characters.

SPOILERS AHEAD. DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE SERIES UP TO THE OMEN OF THE STARS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

 Lionblaze: I've always thought of Lionblaze as kind of cat who's more in charge. He isn't afraid of a challenge but longs to be normal. I do think the power of three do NOT enjoy their powers. Being separated from the rest of the world. The only reason they are alive is to fulfill the prophecy. Having so much responsibility isn't easy. Lionblaze is sorta bland compared to the other cats in the group but he isn't bad or anything. He is loyal to his clan (expect for the Heathertail incident) and seems to have a good sense of good and bad. Sometimes he can be annoying but can you blame him for frustrated? Having so much weight on your shoulders isn't as easy as it looks. In fact I've always looked at their powers as a curse and sometimes I can't help but to wonder if Starclan gave them their powers or if the Dark Forest did.  

Jayfeather: Yay! My second favorite character! Some people do complain on him for being mean to Brightheart while being an apprentice but I feel differently. Let's think about it from his prospective. So you're blind (which isn't the best thing in the world -_-) and you can read minds. Not a very good mix. You know exactly what everyone is thinking about you. Some of things would probably be offensive, I would think. I would find it quite frustrating too! He could've been kinder to Brightheart sure but I don't blame him for being angry all the time. Also what is his second power? Reading emotions. If you're surrounded constantly by other cats image how many emotions you would be feeling at once. So many, it would be a confusing mess on the inside. Leafpool did treat him badly as well. I'm not going to start ranting about Leafpool but I do have a strong hate towards Leafpool >:P

Hollyleaf: Ah, good old Hollyleaf. My favorite character and the only cat in the series who cares about the rules. Litterally NOBODY follows the Warrior code. Hollyleaf cares. She actually tries. No matter what condition she is in, tunnels or not, she was always there for her clan. When she saved two apprentices and when she secretly gave them herbs. She still cared despite the fact they probably would've kicked her out of the clans if they had found out too soon. The whole thing with Ashfur wasn't my favorite and I'm sad Hollyleaf left. When she did leave, however, she showed a lot of loyalty to her clan and the Warrior code by harshly punishing herself. Living by herself (with a dead cat if that counts, idk) in the pitch black tunnels is a really harsh punishment. Even though she forced herself to live there she still tried to help her clan unlike, most cats. She died too soon and I feel like she hasn't been mentioned enough by the other cats after she died.

Dovewing: Ah, my (almost) LEAST favorite character, oh great joy. Now we only have Dovewing left. The cat who joined the group later on. With the strange power of... Hearing, was it? Dovewing is always anxious and I understand. All of the power of three have to suffer through so much pain. Having to save the entire clans from zombies is a lot of work. She tries to keep a relationship with her sister (and fails) and is trying so hard to fit in with the rest of the group. Using her powers for spying and hunting seems like cheating to her. I don't blame her for that one either. It is wrong to use your powers for spying though some cats may think other things about this subject.. *cough* Jayfeather *cough, cough* The only problem with her is, well, she isn't very loyal to the group (and her clan -_-).  And she just got a whole lot worse in Tigerheart's Shadow. Some characters are just annoying to feel bad for.
