Two weeks later, Eliza and John come back from their honeymoon. They are welcomed by their staff and family. Maddy comes running up to them with a present. She hands them the present and goes to sit on the couch.

Eliza and John follow her and sit on either side of her as they open the present. Inside the box is a beautiful black and gold sign. The letters are red, blue, and green and spell out the words 'I Love My Family' and has Maddy's name at the bottom in black with gold glitter.

Eliza smiles and hugs Maddy as does John.

Maddy. I made it with Sarah's help. I told her what I wanted it to say and she wrote it for me. And we both chose the colors for the frame and the words and also my name. I wrote my name by myself.

John. Well, you both did an amazing job. How about we place this here in the living room on the fireplace mantel?

Eliza. I think it would look perfect there, and everyone can see it.

Eliza sets the sign on the mantel and then goes to sit back down with Maddy and John. They watch some TV and then go to the park so that Maddy can run and play. A few minutes later, the family drives to a restaurant and has lunch.

Their lunch consists of chicken with steamed broccoli and Mac and cheese with strawberry ice cream for a snack. After everyone finishes, they go to a store to buy new dresses for Maddy. They also get new shoes for her and then walk around Times Square.

After a long day of fun, food, and shopping, John, Eliza, and Maddy head home and put away the clothes and shoes in the closet. They then have dinner and dessert. After dessert, they get ready for bed and go to sleep.

Two weeks later, Eliza wakes up feeling very nauseous and quickly makes her way to the ensuite washroom. She empties the contents of her stomach and feels John moving her hair away from her face and soothingly rubbing her back.

She moans as she continues to empty the contents of her stomach into the toilet. After a few minutes, she finishes and leans against John. She closes her eyes as she tries to relax and wait for her stomach to settle.

Once her stomach settles, she stands up with John's help and she flushes the toilet, washes her hands, and brushes her teeth to get rid of the smell. John and Eliza then go downstairs after waking up Maddy and they all have breakfast.

Eliza asks the chef for some quail eggs and chocolate-covered strawberries with orange juice and oatmeal. She also asks for some soup and saltine crackers.

John and Maddy have some of the same, but opt-out on the soup and crackers. Soon after, their breakfast is set on the table and they begin to eat. They finish their breakfast and head out to the park so that Maddy can run around.

When they arrive at the park, everyone gets out of the car, and Maddy goes over to the swings and asks for John to push her. John pushes her on the swing while Eliza swings a bit on the one next to Maddy. Soon, Maddy gets tired of the swings and goes over to the monkey bars with Eliza. She goes back and forth on the monkey bars and then goes on the slides.

Maddy runs around playing on all of the playground equipment until she begins to feel tired. The three of them go to an ice cream stand and get a chocolate ice cream for Maddy, strawberry for Eliza, and vanilla for John. They sit down at a nearby bench and eat their ice cream. A few minutes later, all of the ice creams are gone and they all go to the beach.

They change into their swimsuits and go in the water and splash around. They also build sandcastles and collect seashells, and bury each other in the sand. After they finish their beach fun, they get rinsed off and changed into clean and dry clothes. They head home and relax on the couch.

Eliza feels exhausted and closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths. She soon falls asleep and John carries her to their room. He lays her in bed, pulls the covers over her, and kisses her lips. He then goes back downstairs and plays make-believe with Maddy until her bedtime. John supervises her while she brushes her teeth, and then helps her change into her pajamas and tucks her into bed. He kisses her goodnight and then turns off the light and the night light is turned on, along with the baby monitor.

John goes into his and Eliza's bedroom, gets ready for bed, and snuggles under the covers with Eliza held softly against him and he turns off the light and goes to sleep.

Two weeks later, Eliza wakes up once again feeling nauseous. She makes a beeline for the washroom and empties the contents of her stomach. John comes over to her and moves her hair away from her face and rubs her back.

John. I feel bad that you're not feeling well. Is there anything you can think of that might be causing this?

Eliza. I don't know.

She then thinks about her last monthly cycle and pulls up the calendar on her phone. She counts the days from her last cycle three times and smiles as she places the phone on the counter and stands up. She flushes the toilet and then washes her hands and mouth. She then turns around after getting a pregnancy test.

Eliza. I think I might be pregnant again.

John. That would be so amazing. I would have two children to love and care for and spoil.

Eliza smiles and laughs. Don't get your hopes up yet. I still have to take the pregnancy test. Which actually won't take long since I need the washroom once more.

Eliza closes the door and takes the test. She washes her hands for a second time and then comes out of the washroom and sits on the bed with John. Maddy comes in and sits in between them.

Maddy. Why are you sitting on the bed? Are we going to go anywhere?

Eliza. We are waiting for the pregnancy test in the washroom to finish. I have a timer here on my phone and it is counting down from 5 minutes.

Maddy. Why do you have a pregnancy test in the washroom?

John. Because mommy might be expecting a baby.

Maddy smiles. That would be so amazing to have a baby brother or sister.

Five minutes later, Eliza's phone timer starts ringing to signal the wait is done. She goes into the washroom and picks up the test, careful not to look at the results. She sits down on the bed and puts the test in front of the three of them and they all turn over the test.

They look at the test and see that Eliza......
