Stargazer and Lostmind smiled as they stared at their two eggs. They had ran away together after they had both fallen in love. It was a strange thing to admit but they had. They had met during their jobs and started talking. Soon it had escalated into this. They didn't mind. "Which one do you think will hatch first?". Lostmind asked her mate softly. They were both laying beside each other. The eggs were both kept warm by straw. The eggs were slightly rough to the touch with black shells. There were small white dots like an artist had painted them on with precision. When you looked at the eggs closely, there seemed to be a swirling pattern on them. The cave was almost in the shape of an hourglass. The middle was slightly wider and there was a skylight about the size of a six year old dragonet. It got quite annoying when it rained but other than that it was perfect for them. Stargazer laughed. "I'm not sure.. At this rate with us betting on them, they might think it's a challenge". Stargazer told Lostmind between his giggles. I'm unsure if this is safe... They might get Moonwing powers but... what about school for them, What about the other tribes... won't they get suspicious? They could but- "They'll be fine, don't worry about it". Lostmind reassured him. They were near Moonwing territory on a cliff face. The cave was pretty warm because of the updraft. It did get a bit cold sometimes but that was nothing that Lostmind couldn't handle. "What about their education? How will they learn?". Lostmind asked Stargazer. Lostmind was worried about many things, her soon to be dragonets were one of them. "We'll figure something out, together!". Stargazer hoped as he looked out towards overhang. Lostmind looked with him as the waves lapped the shore. She smiled as she stared down at their eggs. They were almost a light gray.
