"Ok let's start packing," I went to the storage area of my home, and brought out a suitcase. Nico just looked at me like I was stupid. He shook his head.

"Will we can't leave just like that! You realize that my dad would literally kill me, if I ran away one more time!"

I pouted. "Can't your dad make one exception? I am your boyfriend after all,"

Nico blushed. "I have to ask him to sponsor the quest. Which means," he stared pointedly at me. "I have to shadow travel there."

As much as his death Magic worried me, I couldn't argue with that. "Fine," I hugged. "But only if we have no choice."

Suddenly a memory ripped through me. I had forgotten about the volleyball game! "Oh shit!" I said out loud.

"what?" Nico stared as I started grabbing my spirit shirt and tennis shoes. "I promised Octavian that I would go to the Volleyball Game!" I looked at the time. I could make it if I hurried.

Nico got to the door before me. "Why do you want to go so badly?"

I snorted. "Nico I hate volleyball, but I have to go or else I might be kicked of the basketball team because of Octavian."

"He has no right to do that!"

"Actually he can, he's the captain. It doesn't matter if I didn't or did do something, he has a secret that could ruin me forever," I sighed.

Nico looked down. "In that case you go to the game. I'll go talk to my father about the quest. If we're lucky, he won't ask for your new born child as payment."

Despite my joy on seeing Nico attempt to make a joke, I wondered why he wouldn't ask me about the secret. After all, it was very closely related to what the stupid eidolon referred to "the place where it's hidden." But if Nico ever found out, he would hate me forever.

Nico forced a smile. He must've been so nervous. I came to him and embraced him tightly. "Be careful. I'm counting on you." He relaxed into my arms. "I will. I promise." His smile no longer seemed forced. I watched as he disappeared into the shadows.

I grumbled to myself. "I better get this over with."
