Will
"Will get out of bed!" Will groaned. "Just 5 more minutes?" He pleaded.
His older sister Lou Ellen sighed. "Will we can do this the Easy way or the hard way."
Will chuckled. "You love me too much to actually do it."
That's when the tickling started. Will gasped between Rounds of Laughter. "Lou you f-" will never got to finish his sentence because that's when he promptly fell out of the bed.
"Wow you're such a spaz," Lou giggled. "It's the first day of school, just get ready would you?"
Will mumbled, "yes mom" getting steam coming out of Lou Ellens ears.
Will didn't even bother getting dressed for school. He would've gone in his pajamas if Lou hadn't forced him into normal clothes. She walked the line between sister and mom since their parents were always working late and leaving early. Lou made breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. She wasn't a bad cook but she has her own built in ego it wasn't will's place to inflate it.
"But seriously, tell me, why the word school makes you sick? Don't you have friends. You invite them over a lot." Will grimaced. "Yeah well, that's because I think they're like me, but I'm always wrong."
Lou ruffled Will's hair. "Oh, you're still thinking about that imaginary world. Well it sounds cool. I mean I would love having a pen that turns into a sword, or watch monsters on the street that have eyes that glow." Good ol Lou. She didn't believe In it, but pretended to for Will's sake. Lou was 18, and Will was 16. It was about time he let go of that particular fantasy.
"Hey! It's Will!" Will was immediately surrounded by all the team players of basketball. They all looked kinda like him too, with the blonde hair, clear blue eyes, and towered over all the other students. Basketball was the one thing that made Will feel included. He was the star center after all.
English was first period. Oh come on! When will there be a Greek elective? Some words from the teacher brought back. "What?" Snickering was heard. "I asked, do you agree?" Will wasn't about to ask the question and embarrass himself more, so he just said, "yeah I agree." The whole class burst into laughter. "Alright will is officially the room garbage man." Will really wanted to hide, or better yet disappear, but he didn't. He just beamed at his classmates. "Yeah whose your favorite garbage man?" Soon he was laughing with them. One glare from the teacher silenced all of them.
"Alright there is also some news. We have a new student." The door opened and a kid stepped in. He stood in the front of the room glaring at everyone. Will squinted. Was that a zombie behind him? He must have been seeing things because it was gone a second later. He looked around. Had no one seen that? All the girls were melting over Nico's dark look and intense expression. He payed no attention to them. He seemed to be studying all the boys. Will felt an unexpected feeling of hopefulness. Something about this dark brooding person attracted him. Whether it was the intense brown eyes or the windswept hair, He especially wanted to be the one to put a smile on that face.
