The Journey
"Who are you?" Jason asks abandoning all pretenses of stealth.
"My identity is not relevant to your insignificant life as an outsider!" He spat at Jason.
"Well then, Mister, please step aside or be knocked aside. I have no quarrel with you except the one you stir up yourself!" Jason said surprisingly calm.
The dark man replied," I was sent here to stop you, and bring 'Her' to my leader. So if you will be as kind as to hand her over I will let you go in peace."
"It is one thing to insult me but another to to speak of your Queen as if she is nothing more than a peasant!" With a look of anger Jason pulls his cloak off revealing a long sword. The man follows in suit pulling out his sword and shield.

Jason's P.O.V.
He's big, doesn't seem too slow but that shield will tire him out. I think to my self.We circle each other warily searching opponents for their weaknesses. It was I who showed one first. As he stumbled over a rock the man lunged with his sword. I slipped out of the way flinging his own sword up and parried his strike. The man is good. I think begrudgingly. But my guess was correct in that the Sheild would tire him. Already the man's attack were starting to get slower, giving me the opportunity to get past the man's defences and slip his blade in between the man's strip of armour.
"Now, I will ask you again, who are you?" I whisper to the man that is now lying on the ground.
"The Enemy." The man says with a sneer.
As I turn away from the dying man an arrow whips by my face and sinks into the man's neck. I snap my head around to see Atticus breathing heavily with a bow in his hand.
"When did you learn to shoot like that Atticus!?" Cass said shocked.
"Well..." Atticus replied sheepishly"someone had to hunt for the orphanage didn't they."
"That's amazing!" She replied while I was staring daggers into the back of Atticus's head.
Cassandra's P.O.V.
Once the adrenaline starting to leave the group's body Jason said," we need to find my horses and get out of here as soon as possible." I just shrugged and followed him. If that is what he wants to do I will go along with him, he hasn't let us down yet. Besides with those fighting skills I want him on my side. I thought wryly. We find the horses in no time all tied to a post grazing on the grass by the post. Once we had all saddled up Jason spoke in a soft but form voice.
"We have about 3 hours of riding so prepare yourself. With that he turned his horse and centered down the road his cloak billowing behind him. God, why does he have to be so mysterious.
Since there wasn't any way to talk to the guys except on the brief rests for the horses Jada and I decided to use the hand signals we had created when we were growing and not aloud to talk while we were doing chores. It was a bit rough at first but eventually we got the hang of it. "Sooo Jason is a fine specimen isn't he!" She said crudely through the hand signals while also giving me a knowing look.
"I don't even know him!" I say as my cheeks begin redefining.
"But he would like to know that's for sure." She says laughing on her horse. I loved my horse, it was a spotted white and chocolate brown horse and his name was Augusta.
"My Lady, we are here," Jason yells over the wind as he slows his solid Black horse and slides off. I look around but much to my confusion I see nothing, only woods, and more woods.
"But.... I don't see anything?" Atticus says.
"That's because they don't want us to, at least not yet," Jason replies with a smirk.
I gasp as the whole forest comes alive when a giant piece of the ground slides away leaving a stair case with to people standing on it.
"Hello Jason, it is good to see you," the old man smiles kindly." And who might be these young people."
"My apologies sir, this is Atticus, this is Nada, and this sir is Cassandra."
"Ah... I was wondering when you would show up. Oh but excuse my rudeness, My name is Elkheim and this is my long time companion Rhemis. Ruth then smiled at us politely and stooped her head in a short bow." Ms. Ruth here regrettably cannot speak thanks to an incident when we were children." We take this with nods not really sure what to say. All except for Jason that is, he walks up to them and shakes their hands. "Well, let us lead the way." He says as he turns and walks down the stairs.
"Cass! Come over here."Jason says in a whisper." No one knows that you are the Queen and if we could keep it that way for a little while, at least until you get to your quarters that would be preferable." He's says eyeing the other two.
"Ah! Here we are!" Elkheim exclaims.
"Oh my......" Jada trails off. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It was a giant underground cavern that stretched in every way as far as the eye could see. There were giant Jungle trees growing that almost seemed too big to be real and then spread amongst the trees up high and down low were little huts. At the very center of the Village was a was a tall circle building.
It's absolutely amazing! I think wondrously. It truly was a remarkable site but finally caught my attention and kept it trained was none other than the Ms. Woodrow or as I was forced to call her, Mother.
