Well....... I hope since I kept you waiting so

long that this chapter will be adequate.(If

indeed anyone wants to read this!)

I started the only way I could think of," I need the ring from the Queen."

Shock, happiness, and suspicion cross his face as he hears what I am saying."Who are you?" he says.

"I am Cassandra, daughter of the Queen." I try saying assertively because I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Immediately he bows and says,"My lady! I am so sorry!"

His reaction startles me and I say"sorry for what?"

"Well if you have had a vision from the Former Queen then that means that you yourself are the queen now!"

I couldn't comprehend what he was saying."Me??" I stutter.

"Yes you! Before the Queen left she told us that someone would come to us saying they had had vision of the Queen. Also that they would ask for a ring. Who ever did all this would be the heir to the throne!" 

I stand there dumbfounded try to comprehend what he is saying. "What so your saying that I Cassandra am Queen? Queen of what?"

You, my lady, are Queen of the Outsiders." And with that I conk out for the second time in one day. When I awaken I find my self on a sofa near a small crackling fire place. Even though there was a fire going I still felt chilled so I pulled the blanket around tighter. It came to all at once, I was Queen! What would be expected of me? Would I fail? Those questions of self doubt and more raced across my mind when they were suddenly replaced with a feeling of embarrassment.  Jason had walked into the room.

"How are you feeling?" He asked"You quite a tumble there, that was twice in one day it was. Can't be good for you," he said with a smile.

"How dare you speak to me like that!? I am your queen!" I say sarcastically.

"My apologies my lady. I meant no respect!" He says laughing." Ok we need to discuss things important now that cannot wait."he says turning serious once more."You are our Queen which means that you are no longer safe here."

"I have to leave?"

" As much as it pains me, yes you do."

" But what about Atticus and Jada?"I say" I can't just leave them!

"No you cannot, they know too much. They must come with us."

With that out of my mind I get excited again and say"When do we leave?"

"Tonight"

"Come on" Jason whispers" We are almost there, the horses are just around the corner."

Trying to be as stealthily as Jason we make our way through the streets, but when we turn the corner we see no horses. Only  a man standing in the middle of the rose with a staff, sword, and shield."Who is that?" I ask Jason.

"It's an agent from the Light."
