"Oh my God, Jangmi. It was amazing. We didn't go anywhere too public because obviously, people would see and start rumours. But he took me to a secluded spot on the beach. We sat there for hours just talking." Barbara hummed.
"That's so sweet! Ah, I'm so happy for you both!" I squeal. "I'm going to the dorm today, you wanna come? Meet the others?" I ask her mischievously.
She laughs out loud. "Is that really a question? Girl I'd teleport there right now if I could."
"Let's go then. Yoongi's in the shower. We'll go when he's ready, hmm?" I say.
"Hell yes! I can't thank you enough, Jangmi. You've made my dreams come true. You're the most amazing best friend anybody could ask for." She says, giving me a tight hug.
"It's my pleasure. You know I'd do anything for you." I respond, hugging her back. "Alright, he's probably gonna take a while, he always does. So I'm gonna run to the store, grab some groceries before we go; because I know I'll forget." I say, getting up from the couch and grabbing my keys from the bowl. "I'll be 30 minutes." I say, before walking out the door and making my way to the car.

As I'm searching the aisles for the necessities, and for Hyerin's weird food combinations, I notice my favourite brand of cookies are on sale. I internally squeal and quickly grab them, putting them in my basket.
I walk away, looking down at my basket to make sure I have everything. Without looking, I accidentally smash into somebody in front of me, causing me to fall backwards and fall onto the floor.
"Oh my Gosh, I'm so sorry." I say, getting up without looking at the stranger and bowing to them. Just then, the stranger speaks.
"Jangmi?"
As I hear the familiar voice, I freeze on the spot, still looking down at my feet. My gut wrenches, and I feel the sudden urge to throw up. That voice... That horrifying voice.
Instantly my mind is filled with traumatising flashbacks, I zone out, unaware of what's happening. As I'm in a trance, I feel his hand lightly touch my shoulder; immediately pulling me back to reality.
I quickly snap my neck and look up at the man, meeting his eyes. His dark, soulless eyes. I look at his hand on my shoulder, touching me. At this point, all I feel is a burning hot, boiling rage and I slap his hand off of me. The last thing I want is for this monster to touch me.
Jaesun.
I hadn't seen him or heard from him in 2 and a half years. Why now? Why did I have to literally bump into him in my local supermarket now?
He's looking at me with concern, as if he didn't expect this kind of reaction from me. What did he expect? For me to be happy? Excited to see him? This man ruined me. He mentally tortured me, made me feel like I was worthless, that I was nothing on a daily basis. He hurt me mentally and physically. He's nothing but a vile, emotionless creature. I hate him.
As I'm looking into his eyes, I open my mouth to speak. "Don't you ever fucking touch me." I whisper, gritting my teeth.
As those words leave my lips, I notice a smirk appear on his face. A dirty, smug grin. This man will never change.
"Wow, you're still holding a grudge? It's been 2 and a half years, Jangmi." He grins.
Hearing my name roll off of his tongue makes my heart skip. I never wanted to hear him say my name again. It's disrespectful. I clench my fists by my side, digging my nails into my palms.
"You have no idea the permanent damage you caused me. You're a despicable, vile, disgusting cretin and when I left, I prayed for months I'd never see you again. I prayed for your death." I respond. "You have no soul, no empathy, nothing. You are nothing and you will amount to nothing." I say, pushing past him.
He quickly grips my wrist tightly, forcing me back. Too many familiar feelings rush back at his touch.
Before I know it, I clench my hand into a fist, pulling my arm back and letting go with full force, punching him directly in his nose. He falls back, cupping his face; letting out a yelp of pain.
"I said, don't FUCKING touch me. You have no RIGHT to touch me, ever." I hiss. I watch him get back up to his feet, wiping the blood from his nose. I notice his expression change from shock to anger. He marches up to me aggressively. I can already feel what's coming, it's all too familiar, but I can't move. I'm stuck, I'm frozen in fear.
I suddenly feel a sharp, stinging pain across my face. My head automatically throws itself to the side, and I quickly cup my cheek, tears beginning to fall down my face. "You fucking bitch." He growls.
"You finally grew a back bone, huh? Finally gathered some courage? You may think you're in control now, that you're a strong woman; but you'll always be pathetic and weak, Jangmi."
I stand there, looking down at the ground, cupping my stinging cheek sobbing. He's right. I've always been weak, I always will be. I finally had a chance to give this monster a taste of his own medicine, but I blew it. He still took control over me.
"You know, I was going to ask you out to try and resolve our differences, talk it out and move on. Pfft, you fucking lost your chance." He scoffs, as if I should feel privileged, honoured at his request.
I remove my hand from my cheek and confidently look back at him, meeting his angry eyes.
"You think I'd have said yes? You think I would want to go out with you, to; in your words, try and resolve our differences?" I argue.
"I'd rather gouge out my own eyeballs than go anywhere with you!" I scream. At this point, people start to notice the commotion, a few people turning the corners to see what's going on.
I march up to Jaesun and roughly shove him, pounding my fits on his chest repeatedly, causing him to let out stifled groans. I lose all self control, screaming and violently hitting him over and over again. I feel someone wrap their arms around my frame and pull me off of him, swinging me around.
"Miss, calm down. What's wrong? What happened?" A kind faced man says, trying to calm down the conflict. I can't answer him, all I can do is cry. An overwhelming sense of pain and suffering fills me. The trauma this man caused me. He's evil. "Do you need me to call someone for you?" He asks. I nod at him, and give him the number to call.
A few minutes pass and I've stopped crying. I'm sat on the floor, my back against a wall with my head in my hands. I'm still in a trance, every memory I have with Jaesun is being played over and over again in my head.
I feel someone gently touch my arm. "Jangmi?" I hear a soft voice. A voice I recognise, an angelic voice that I love. I quickly look up and see Yoongi crouched in front of me, he's looking at me with concern and fear in his eyes. I hear an array of gasps and whispers of Yoongi's name from people around us.
"Where's Jaesun? I croak, ignoring the other people. The kind man gives me a warm smile. "The man is in the security office. They're going to review everything caught on the CCTV footage. The police are here and they've arrested him." He says. I nod my head slowly at him, tears staining my cheeks. I turn my focus back at Yoongi, who's now gently caressing my hair, pain and sadness evident on his face.
He notices the red mark on my face, his sadness turning to anger. "Did he do this to you? Where is the security office?!" He asks angrily.
"No, please." I beg. "Don't. I don't want it to escalate anymore." I say, breaking down once again. He quickly reforms back and calms down, again his emotion turning to sadness. "Can we just go home?" I ask.
"Of course, baby." He says softly.
He gently picks me up bridal style, I wrap my arms around his shoulders and bury my face in his neck. Yoongi nods at the kind man as a thank you, and walks us out of the store to my car. I peek my head up to look behind us and notice a crowd of people watching, mouths open in shock and taking photos and videos of us on their phone.
Yoongi takes me back to his dorm. All the other members are out elsewhere, leaving us alone.
"Jangmi, what happened?" He asks softly. I'm sat on the edge of his bed, with him sat next to me. His arm is wrapped around me tightly, comforting me.
I take a deep breath, looking down at my feet. "There are things I didn't tell you about Jaesun, about our relationship and what happened. A lot more happened than what I told you." I begin.
"There's a reason I reacted that way to seeing him again. He really is evil, Yoongi. He's done disgusting, despicable things. I'd never wish death on anybody, but for him? That's a whole different situation. He's the one person I believe really deserves it." I continue.
"You deserve to know the whole story, everything that happened. But you have to promise not to get angry. Let fate decide his future, he will get everything that's coming to him." I say.
"I promise." He responds.
