A/N: I'm so sorry that this doesn't get updated as much! I was focusing on What Happened Afterwards and Polar, lol. Please accept this apology chapter from me.:3

Scott sat down, nodding at Avi and Kevin. They nodded back, the three of them creating awkwardness. Rachel smiled tightly and she looked at Mitch, rubbing his knee gently.

"How are you?" Rachel asked while signing. Mitch smiled as he signed back 'good'. "That's good. I don't know if you remember me, but I was the preschool teacher here! You've grown so much."

*Of course I remember you! You were an amazing teacher* Mitch signed back, happy to see her again. *You were so fun!*

*That's nice to hear* Rachel signed back, looking back at everyone else. She smiled sweetly and cleared her throat. "Are we ready to start? I'm surprised only four people signed up."

"I guess."

I'm not. I'm ready to climb aboard on the train to Nopeville.

"Scott, how about you start?"

Darn you, you stupid therapist.

"Well," Scott began, playing with some string on his jeans. He sighed as he felt his nerves riling him up. "I'm Scott, I'm twenty four, I'm a choir teacher at the high school. That's about it."

"Good," Rachel commented, smiling at the tall blond. Scott smiled back, happy that he didn't have to share anything else. *How about you, Mitch?*

"I'm Mitch," Scott translated, rubbing Mitch's knee. Mitch signed slowly, a bit shy. "I'm sixteen, I attend Hanson's School for Hard of Hearing Students, and I know I'm not an adult, but I'm mature enough to be one."

"Thank you, Mitch," Rachel replied, laughing at the sassiness the young boy exemplified. She looked at the Olusolas, smiling brightly. "How about you two?"

"Avi Olusola, I prefer not to say my age, and I still believe in dragons."

"Kevin Olusola, I also prefer not to say my age, and I don't believe in dragons."

"Okay," Rachel commented quietly, looking at the couple. They're certainly on the funny side. "So, we won't have a long session today. I'll just lay out the rules that we have in here. Well, there's really only one rule. Don't talk to each other about sessions outside of the group. It's strictly therapist-patient confidentiality. Let's begin."

Mom, Dad...please don't make me cry during these sessions. Please.

"Do you want to hang out sometime?"

Kirstie turned back to find Ariana smiling at her. Everyone left and now it's hurt her and Ariana. It turns out that Ariana had an addiction with prescription drugs and her mom found out so she sent her to the group. She looks better and doesn't even lay a finger on them now unless she needs them. Kirstie raised an eyebrow, confused by the invitation.

"We didn't even meet twenty minutes ago," Kirstie pointed out, look at the clock. "I don't even know you."

Ariana sighed as she looked at her own watch, giggling softly. Kirstie crossed her arms, wondering what the shorter girl had to say.

"What's so funny now?"

"It's 12:50."

"So? Why should I care about the time?"

Ariana looked back at Kirstie and smiled brightly. Kirstie nodded impatiently, wanting to go home now. Ariana laughed at the impatience and tapped her watch.

"We've known each other for twenty minutes now. When do you want to hang out?"

Kirstie rolled her eyes, smiling a bit. This girl was longing to be her friend. Kirstie hasn't had a friend for a long time so she wanted to say yes. The blond nodded, thinking of a good time.

"How about 5:30 tomorrow? The mall or something?" Kirstie asked, her side smile prominent. "Is that good?"

"It's great. I'll meet you then," Ariana admitted, gathering her stuff. She hugged Kirstie before going out of the door. She walked to the door and was about to leave when she stopped. "Kirstie? I need you to promise me something."

"Yes?"

Ariana looked back and smiled, a hint of sadness in her eyes, but she blinked quickly, making the happiness come back. Kirstie nodded, wondering why Ariana looked sad. Ariana sighed as she began to close the door.

"Promise me that you won't fall in love with me."

"Okay, I won't. Sure."

Ariana left, leaving Kirstie in the room.
Kirstie stared at the door, wondering why Ariana said that. She didn't like girls and Ariana certainly was no exception. She rolled her eyes as he gathered her own stuff, wanting to leave now.

Weirdo. Why would I fall in love with her? Her eyes are so beautiful and they remind me of stars...what the heck, Kirstin?!

She shook her head as she walked out if the door, wanting the feelings of confusion to go away.

~~~
"How was it?" Scott asked Kirstie, driving slowly. The teenager shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to talk. "Oh, is there a boy?"
More like a girl...that I don't like!
"Not really," she answered quietly, looking back at Mitch. He looked out of the window, admiring the trees that Scott drove by. "I just don't want to talk."
Scott nodded, allowing his sister not to talk. It felt nice that they finally talked without arguing. He drove to the house and dropped off his siblings, smiling at them.
"I won't be home until later. Make sure that you two stay home, okay?" Scott asked while signing. Mitch nodded while Kirstie rolled her eyes. "I love you too."
Mitch signed back 'I love you too' while Kirstie simply nodded. Scott sighed as he drove off, hoping that these group sessions will bring them closer.
Please let that happen, Mom and Dad. We need that.
"We ran out of soap," Melanie grumbled angrily, shaking her head. Scott laughed as Alex smirked to himself. "I can't wash out anybody's mouth now."
"Oh no, how terrible," Scott replied in a sarcastic tone. Melanie glared at him playfully, shaking her head. "It's not like there's worse things out there than running out of soap."
"Shut up, Alphabet Boy," Melanie warned, shaking her head. Scott laughed as he put his stuff away. "You're lucky that I tolerate you"
"What, no love?"
"That's all for me," Alex joked, hugging Melanie. "We're in love with each other."
"Ha ha," Scott replied, shaking his head. He looked at his watch and sighed to himself. "Well, I got to go home. Bye."
"Scott, do you want to hang out sometime?" Alex asked, smiling shyly. "Please?"
Scott looked at Alex, getting ready to say no when something seemed to tell him to say yes. The nagging feeling wouldn't go away so he nodded, wanting it to go away.
"Sure, that sounds amazing."
"Yay!"
Melanie smiled when she saw the two interact, knowing that something will happen between the two.
Only time could tell.
A/N: Again, I'm so sorry for not focusing on this story. I've been focusing on W.H.A and Polar and now that W.H.A is over...I'm still a busy bee, lol. I have Polar, this story, and two new stories. I could do it though because you all motivate me to do so.:) Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed the chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
