Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Never Ending Rain
I went outside my house, my backpack filled with school supplies, and ready to go to school.
I looked up.
"Huh? It's very sunny. That's odd... And it's only 6:40 in the morning..." I said.
I went to school.
Then I went to my locker.
I opened my locker, only to find a note attached to my history book.
The note said: Meet me behind the school at lunchtime! -Bonnie
"Watashi wa-nt? (What does she want?)" I said, annoyed. (A/N: Get it? ;P)
At lunchtime, I went behind the school and Bonnie was not behind the school yet.
"Looks like Bonnie is late. Heh." I said, not surprised.
Bonnie went behind the school running and saw me waiting for her.
She approached me running.
"You're late." I said.
"*Deep Breaths* S-sorry I'm late! History teacher made me write extra for laughing!" Bonnie said, tired.
"Really? That's like the most dumbest reason to get extra work." I said.
"You tell me!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"How did you crack my locker's code?" I said.
"I saw the code written in an index card in your pocket." Bonnie said.
I sighed.
"So why did you want me to come back here?" I said.
"To warn you about something. I've been watching weather reports recently-" Bonnie said, but I interrupted.
"PHBFFFFFFFF!!" I made a kind of raspberry sound with my lips chapped.
"Hey! Don't judge me! I like weather reports!" Bonnie said.
"*Chuckles* Keep going..." I said.
"And it looks like there's going to be massive rain for the entire week!" Bonnie said, shocked.
"Why?" I said.
"The weather reporters said something about lightning storms..." Bonnie said.
I shook my head.
"Lightning storms are dangerous. We have to be careful." I said.
The next day...
"Weather reports with Lindsey Naysuki." A newscaster said.
"Mom, Kazuto! Take a look at this!" I said.
Mom and Kazuto came quickly.
"Lindsey Naysuki here with the weather report. As we are seeing here, storm clouds are storming throughout all Japan. Due to heavy thunderstorms, all of Japan's schools will be closed. We recommend you stay in your homes until the storms die down." Lindsey Naysuki said.
"Whoo!! No school! This is the best!!" Kazuto said.
3 days later...
Power outage...
"Ugh, this is the worst. SO BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORED!!!!!" I yelled out.
