The next day, I woke up, got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, and got dressed for school.

"Mom, what's for dinner?" I said.

"Grilled cheese sandwiches!" Mom said.

"Yum!" Kazuto said.

We ate our sandwiches and grabbed our backpacks.

"The bus is here!" I said.

"Ok! See you later guys!" Mom said, waving us goodbye.

We went to the school bus and took our seats. Then, 5 minutes later we got to school.

"Hey Akira!" Pinkangela said.

"Kon'nichiwa, Pinkangela." I said.

"So, about the prom?" She said.

"Look, I don't know. I wasn't expecting a prom this early." I said.

"Why don't you ask Yoko for a dance? I mean, you don't need to kiss him." She said.

"Let's stop talking about the prom." I said.

"So Akira, Yoko and you?" Pinkangela said.

"You've been hanging out with me all the time! I haven't hanged out with him all day!" I said.

"*Laughs* I'm sorry! I'll let you be with him. I won't interrupt." She said.

"Here he comes." I said.

"See ya later." She said.

"Hey Akira." Yoko said.

"Hi Yoko." I said, waving.

"So, what are you doing today?" He said.

"Oh nothing. Just hanging out with you all day!" I said, putting a thumbs up.

"Oh, cool!" He said.

"Soo, Yoko. Got any plans for August 26 at night?" I said.

"No, why?" He said.

"Well, if you have heard, there's this school prom and I wanted to know if you wanted to be my d-date for the prom." I said.

"Yeah sure! I wanna go with you!" He said.

"Really?" I said.

"Yes, I want to dance with you." He said.

"Wow, thank you so much!" I said.

I hugged him and kissed him in the cheek. I then grabbed his hand and we walked together. I felt warm inside, I was blushing.

"Aaaaw, I knew he was her lover boy!" Pinkangela said.

"Wait, my sister is dating?" Kazuto said.
