I.
In a quaint, small village, many events can occur and be overlooked, even if they are of the utmost importance. Yet those who ignore them are but the fools of the upper-class. The villagers do the exact opposite. They hunger for excitement, making something as mere as a chicken laying her eggs seem like the beginning of a new era. Naturally, something such as an entire horse wagon disappearing was the talk of the village. The family who lost it were distressed, and their nosy neighbors had their curiosity peaked. This simple mystery was one all wanted to solve, yet none found the time and energy to. Almost none. An exception was Elizabeta Hedervary, a pretty young girl who spent most of her days trying to do anything that was deemed unfit for a lady. Solving a mystery on her own was one of them.
