The air was cold as a young boy who was breathing heavily ran to the throne room. He bursted in and collapsed in front of the throne and quickly knelt down.

"Your Majesty! The Kingdom of Firenax has just been attacked!" The king stood.

"When!? Who?!"

"Just a few minutes ago. We have not been able to identify the attackers." The boy said breathlessly.

"I need to know who attacked. Get some rest. You have done good work for now. Catherine! Get me Sir Manuel!"

The boy bowed before leaving and going to his room.

Present day...

The sun hung high in the sky as a group of people were gathering in a room. A boy spoke up.

"What's this about, Your Mantra?"

"Silver.... I've told you not to call me that." Silver lowered his head.

"Sorry.... but your father-"

"He's just trying to get it in your head so that when we're in public you're not being rude. But when we're not out there, don't."

"Ok..." Another person raised their hand.

"When are we starting?" The group nodded.

"Now." The young prince stated.

He turned to the boy beside him.

"Can you do role call?" The boy nodded before standing. The others stood.

"Blue?"

"Here."

"Silver?"

"Yes."

"Platinum?"

"Present."

"Y?"

"Here."

"Forest?"

"Yes."

"Cream?"

"Hello."

"Ruby?"

"Natural." The group giggled.

"Everyone's here."

"You forgot yourself." Blue murmured. The boy blushed with embarrassment.

"You're fine, Blake. Sit." The group sat down. "This meeting has three sides. First, position check. We're writing them down."

As they write, let's talk about these characters. These are the Kingdom of Aquino's 8 Royal Synxeagogues. They were all able to destroy enemy forces without any problems.

Blue is a queen within a palace that aren't alike at all. She's the queen of the Earth Kingdom that fell to Velasquez. She was adopted by the king of Aquino and made a Synxeagogue. She's a natural of Life magic.

Silver was a member of the old Dark Society. His life was destroyed by the former regime until the three kingdoms went to tear it down. The king of Aquino adopted him and made him a Synxeagogue. He's a major of Shadow magic.

Platinum is a fellow childhood friend who saved the queen from an ambush. She was able to make the enemy regret their decision. She was made a Synxeagogue. She is a powerful void demon.

Y is a girl who was formerly a member of the message board. Her group was destroyed by the Dark Society. The king allowed her to live in the castle as a messenger. She accepted and became a Synxeagogue. She is a powerful flyer.

Forest is a mystery boy with nearly no past. He always has something to say about just about anything. There is nothing that anyone can say that he won't shoot down. Something that surrounds him seems to make him his powerful being. He is highly intelligent with an assortment of things. From languages to history. It is unclear how he became a Synxeagogue. He is a wind expert.

Cream is a sweet girl who was originally from the academy of technical studies. The academy was destroyed by the Dark Society. The queen took her in and accepted her strength. She became a Synxeagogue. She's a Shifting Tech mage.

Blake is a mysterious boy who was abused by his father. It was Ruby who found him in an alley deathly ill. He was healed to full health and given the opportunity to get adopted by the royal family. He gladly accepted and has been with Ruby for years after. He is still getting treatments after the horrible accident. He was the person who alerted the king of Firenax's attack. He was made a Synxeagogue a little while after the others. He is a particularly good water expert.

Ruby is the primary prince of the Kingdom of Aquino. He has been crowned the prince at the same time as the princess of Firenax. He is addressed as 'Your Mantra,' despite his objections. He was the one who found Blake and worried about him as he was hurt. He was also the one who had the idea of the group. He leads the group of the Synxeagogues. He has Magma magic.

The group quickly made their position reports and handed them to Blake.

"Ok... be expecting private meetings about them." The group nodded. "Second, anything that needs to be addressed may be said now."

"The king and queen are hoping to start looking for Firenax's attackers. We have been assigned to be the team that starts the search." Platinum said.

"There has been a message that has reached the kingdom that has put up some red flags." Y said as she held it up. "The queen wanted me to show it to the group." She stood up and read the letter.

"Kingdom of Aquino,

   As a member of the Kingdom of Firenax, I have been put to the task of sending this information to you. We have 8 people who are hiding from our attackers and are in desperate need of assistance as we are struggling to stay stable. We ask for any news of the world and hope that you will provide anything that you may be able to send. Thank you for your service.

Firenax Citizens:
Green, Gold, Pearl, Black, Sun, Pink, Velvet, Sapphire.

Silence filled the room as she finished and sat down.

"So... what does the queen want us to do with this?" Silver asked suspiciously.

"She wants us to go investigate this group and see if they are who they say. She would like us to go when we go to investigate the attackers." The group nodded.

"Anything else?" The silence took over. He sighed. "Any announcements?"

"Yes." Blake sighed finally, as if he had been waiting for this. "I overheard the king and queen. They're wanting to speak with you about this, Ruby, but I'll say this... Crystal."

Ruby froze. He knew what that meant. He groaned.

"Ok. Thank you for being here. Meeting adjourned. Platinum, Blake and Forest, with me."

A soft growl escaped from Forest as the group split. The quad headed for the throne room. Ruby sighed.

"Who's ready to see me die?"
