Y/N is driving to an adult manga store to handle a hostage situation. He sees several police cars in front of the store and many officers aiming their weapons at it. Y/N holds out his wrist device and looks at the cameras inside the store.

Officer: Officer Howard. What's going on through the cameras?

Y/N: Eight Orcs, all armed. And they've got 10 hostages.

Officer: Well, here's your chance to show what you've got new guy. Try to negotiate with them.

Y/N nods before walking through a hard light safety barrier and puts his device on megaphone mode.

Y/N (Megaphone): Liminals. You are holding several innocents hostage and are in possession of illegal firearms. Identify yourselves.

The leader of the group speaks through a megaphone and calls themselves the Orc Pioneer Federation. He says they demand more orc-related content in adult manga. Y/N couldn't believe what they were saying before they closed the door.

Y/N: I cannot believe what they are demanding.

Officer: I know. It's ridiculous.

Y/N: Can't we arrest them?

Officer: Unfortunately, The Interspecies Exchange Bill influences Harmony. We can't do it without causing a supposed incident.

Y/N: I really hate to do this... But should I contact Smith?

Officer: Does she have a soltution?

Y/N: Yes, a group that exists to handle stuff such as this.

Officer: *Groan*... Give her a call.

Y/N calls Smith and she answers.

Smith: Officer Howard? How may I be of assistance?

Y/N: Orcs have taken over a manga store. They're armed and holding hostages. The bill forbades us from taking action against them.

The officer grabs my arm and pulls it toward him to talk to Smith

Officer: If you want this bill to be preserved here, then you and your group better solve or else we will see no other option.

Smith: Don't worry. We are already on it. I'll get back to you, I have to deal with a meeting.

Smith hangs up then sends a display of the store and anything within a two kilometer radius.

Officer: Why the hell does this map diplay everything within two kilometers?

Four pitcures then appear on the map that show pictures of Zombina, Monako, Doppel, and Tionishia as well as their locations.

Officer: Monsters?

Y/N: No problem with Non-humans dealing with other Non-humans.

Officer: If it were up to me, I'd send everyone in, blast those filthy Orc's hands and cuff their arms.

Y/N: Unfortunately, Japan quickly got involved when we allowed Liminals to enter the city.

We hear gunshots and pull out our blasters to aim at the store. After a few minutes of silence, we hear more gunfire and I call in some backup.

Y/N: Damn the Bill. We've got to do something.

Officer: Better that than let this filthy pigs get away with this.

Backup quickly arrives and SWAT units cover the store as they aim their rifles. The curtians get pulled down and we see a student begging for help as the Orcs approach her. We all aim our weapons again, ready to break the law in order to protect the innocents. I'd rather have my reputation ruined than let them get away with this.

Y/N (Megaphone): Stay away from that young girl!

Officer (Megaphone): This is your last chance! Surrender immediately, or we will open fire, regardless of the Interspecies exchange bill.

Suddenly, bullets fire and end up breaking the rifles the Orcs were carrying. We all kept our weapons trained on them despite our confusion. we hear shaking in the store and I see large, horned humanoid in very familiar heavy armor.

Y/N: Tio?

A girl with bullet holes gets up and fires rubber bullets on the rest of the orcs, neutralizing them. The leader attempts to threaten the girl, but she suddenly kicks him in the nose and reveals herself to be a doppelganger.

Officer: She was a Doppelganger?

Smith then appears with the others and arrests the leader.

Y/N: I can't believe Smith did something right for once.

Officer: You and me both.

After the news and the other officers went away, Y/N remained and was writing notes for his report. Suddenly, Tio appeared and was eating a bag of chips.

Y/N: Oh, hello Tio.

Tio: Hello, Y/N. I saw what you were doing.

Y/N: Yeah. I was about to go against the bill that made it's way from Japan to our city. I couldn't let those orcs harm that girl. And Zombina was lucky she can't become even more dead than she already is.

Tio pats me on the head.

Tio: Because you're a good person. Well, I have to go. See you soon.

Y/N: Take care of yourself. 

Y/N gets on his motorcycle and drives away. He goes to Police Headquarters and begins filing a report. The captain soon arrives in protection gear and begins talking to him.

Maximilian: I heard about the hostage situation. If it weren't for these damn politics, I'd have those bastards sentenced for life. You do what you have to do.

Y/N: Thanks Dad.

Maximilian: Captain. 

Y/N: Captain. Is there a reason why you're armored like that?

Maxmilian: Had to retake a waste treatment facility. Flithy sludge there got this thing hard to take off by myself. Now I have to go get help. It's hot and I need air.

Y/N: You go do that.

Maximilian walks away and Y/N does his report and all the paperwork.

Y/N: 'I want to help people. Be a hero like Dad is. And maybe have Tio see me as more than some kid'.
