   POPE AND BRANDIE SITTING IN A TREE — yeah fucking right! Pope and Brandie have been best friends ever since he was assigned to be her welcome buddy when she moved to the Outer banks.

   People weren't exactly lining up to befriend the Andrews' newest runt, it didn't exactly help that Brandie definitely a practicing Wiccan. Oh, and her dad was definitely a true crime podcaster's wet dream.

   So sure, maybe Connell Brandt's grizzley (and unsolved) murder 10 year's ago wasn't exactly an ignorable bit of lore and sure, Pope Heyward was probably the most understanding (and totally the cutest!) guy in the whole OuterBanks.

Call me shady cause I'm back again!! I've been wanting to make something new but have been having major creative block. I decided to publish now because a) I finally formed an idea that got my gears running and b) I'm in the final act of my Embry fic and decided to take a small break.

  I must preface that my only experience with ptsd and survivors guilt are through my relatives experience. I will be doing research, as I do with all my works, so I can write it correctly. The same goes for the foster system and some of the trauma that can come from that.

  I'm debating on the route I'd like to go as far as seasons and episodes go with OBX (cause I hate writing out scripts from shows/movies omll). It may be more au than anything, but only time will tell.
