A Romance
A/N Something I wrote when I got far too giggly when told to write seriously. To be fair I did almost burn the house down while I was writing this.... But for some reason, it never made the cut for the rp I wrote it for. XD

The moment her feet touched the floor, Elena let out a sigh of contempt. Her toes digging into the soft carpet as she gazed lovingly at her newly-wed husband. Husband. A word that binds two souls together, forever. Two perfect souls, made for each other. That would take some time to get used to. Aurelio met her sparkling blue eyes, smiling tenderly. Her own shone with pure love and adoration, mirroring his own. The room, although perfect in every way, had nothing on him. He was perfect. Completely, and utterly perfect. From his shining passionate eyes to his sweet and caring nature. He could do no wrong. He was the definition of the ideal man.
Slowly his hand etched towards hers, entrapping it as her curled his fingers with her delicate own. His fingers caressed her skin, as his soft, silky voice murmured:
"Goodbye," With that he turned his muscular back towards her and headed out the room. Exposing his body to the world. She had no doubt in her mind that she could hear some maids swooning as he passed them, wishing him to be theirs. Her hand felt cold and empty, tears welled up in her eyes. He just left her? Here? Like that? On their honeymoon?
Suddenly the door burst open once again. Her eyes lit up as they sprung to the door in hope. "Aureli-" Her smile falters going back into self pity. An old maid bustles in, humming Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer, happily oblivious to Elena's internal suffering. The depths of hell of which have opened up inside her. "Don't mind me dear," she exclaims before happily going to go dust an already spotless vase.
For the third time that dreary afternoon (really, you thought London was bad!), the door creaked open once more. Elena, once again sucked in a breath, her eyes lighting up. "Aurelio! Where have y-" her words once again stop short as she lets out a little whimper.
"Tip?" A young boy, the age of twelve innocently asks as he stumbled in with the overweight luggage. Suddenly a large figure comes behind him, gently shoving him aside as he stares into the dimly lit room. His muscular body shining from the sunlight reflected off a shimmering mirror. Elena couldn't help but lick her lips at the sight of him. Immediately her heart was filled with butterflies as a broad idiotic smile graced her perfect lips. She was in love. Star crossed lovers. Every time he was in the room, every time she looked in his eyes, she felt like that missing puzzle piece was filled.
Her eyes trailed down to the grocery bag in his hand, curiosity spinning inside her. Agonizingly slow, he reached down into the bag, his eyes never leaving hers, silently whispering sweet nothings. His hand fumbled for a second too long before pulling it out. She gasped. It was beautiful! The glistening glass made everyone gasp in the room. Even the candles that lay on the floor flickered at its beauty. "I bought it for you," his deep soft voice caressed, as he held it out to her. Almost afraid to touch it, she gingerly reached out her hands. With a soft plop, it dropped into her soft touch. Gently, she reached up like it was Simba and she was Mafusa.
