The leader of the West Virginia anti GMO society was seventeen year old girl named Sara, she would be in the Jackson's foster home till her 18th birthday on March 20th. She already had a small house to move into in a month with her best friend Katrina.

She had a secret though. One that had weighed heavily on her shoulders ever since the death of her parents, the small pendant around her neck at all times her only item from them. But the pendant had a secret purpose, one crucial to the safety of her and those around her. It controlled her power of plants and animals.

The anti GMO society was staging a peaceful protest against a store selling genetically modified produce by on the sidewalks outside of their store reading "It mutated the plants what do you think it will do to you? " and other such messages.

A man went up to Sara took her sign and broke it, then tried to hit her. Knowing that nobody would help her against on of the leaders of a gang in the town she got scared and her powers acted up making a wall of thorny bushes between her and the man.

She ran in the other direction she had to make it out of the town and to the woods.
