I started this book with the hope of motivating myself to become a doctor.

I finished this book with the hope of simply trying to heal myself.

It's been exactly three years since this book started and we have gone through a lot. 

Writing this book was some sort of healing process for me, and it still is. It has been exactly three years since my grandfather died and I treated this book as a reminder of him. Thus, when there were times when this book was on break for some months, the truth was that I wanted to stop writing it. It was when the memories hurt.

But I knew that I had to continue for you and for him. If there is a way to immortalize the thought of my grandfather, then I would have to say that it’s this book – and the dates of when each chapter was published. 

Still, finishing this book was made enjoyable by you, my dear readers (luviesss). I garnered a small audience in this book and I love it because each one of you is so sincere and kind. It felt solemn in a way when I would read your comments and see who would leave a vote – it’s as if we knew each other more, and thus, more respect grew. For that, I will be truly and forever grateful. 💖🥹

And to the Great Dei (God), as always, thank you for being the writer in me. ❤️

I may stop being on Wattpad in the next few months. In August, I shall begin my first year of Master’s in New York City. :) I am very excited and super nervous, but I like to believe that I’m ready for this new endeavor. Thank you for being with me since I was a teenager. Now it’s time to take on new challenges and chapters in life. I hope, someday, you will too.
