"Oh yes, right there"
I said as I layer back in my bed. Since I was stressed I decided to treat myself. If I don't do it then no one else will.
I was lying fully naked on my bed, enjoying the pleasure that was occurring. I felt all the weight of the world melt away once the motion started.
I was currently on my bed, enjoying my new back massager. It felt like the ones they have at the nail shop but better. My whole body vibrates from just a flick of a button.
The girls who made the sorority is supposed to be getting a callback today. I bought myself the massager because I've been stressing out about it lately.
When it comes to things I'm passionate about I go to extreme lengths for me to make it.
As I was about to fall asleep my phone started ringing. I saw a random number pop up on the screen. It took me a few seconds to realize that it was Dominic.
I declined his call and went about my business. He's been blowing up my phone lately and I'm over it. He knows he's in a situationship with Iyanna yet he keeps bothering me. He refused to come clean and tell me too. I already know the truth, I just eat him to tell me it himself.
It's the lying for no reason that upsets me.
Some guys don't really want you, they just want to disrupt your peace.
I see the way she acts around him and how possessive she gets. If he expects me to be on the side then he's wrong. I don't want to be run over by a bus over a dude that's clearly indecisive about what he wants.
As I was deep in thought a rapid knock was heard at the door. My body jumped as the knock continued to ring throughout my apartment. Now I see how my parents felt when I would accidentally slam the doors or knock on the door too hard.
When the knocking stopped I got off the bed. You damn right I didn't open the door upon request. They don't pay any bills in this house. I mean, neither do I but you don't see me trying to rip the door off its hinges.
No one was outside though. All I saw was the janitor that was mopping the wall since someone vomit all over it. I was going to close the door when I saw a pink box with a bow on the top sitting on the floor.
I kicked it to make sure it wasn't a bomb before I brought it inside. I took the bow off and opened the box. I held my breath in excitement as I saw it was an AKA starter pack.
It came with a green and pink shimmery AKA shirt with a green and pink striped shorts and a pair of slippers.
The silver writing that was to the box read:
"Welcome to Alpha Kappa Alpha. You've been handpicked to represent the growing sisterhood of this sorority. As a new Soro, meet us in the woman's hall at eight-thirty tomorrow for your first meeting. Being late automatically results in you forfeiting your place in this sorority.
"By Culture and By Merit"
Sincerely,
Beatrix Davis, Senior President"
I stripped out of my boring clothes and stepped into my new sorority clothes. I felt overwhelmed with emotions at this moment. This feels so surreal.
I strutted around my living room with my hands on my hips as sung Grown Woman by Beyoncé. I took a few pictures of myself in the sorority clothes and posted it to my close friend's list.
I'm a big fan of not oversharing my life with random Instagram followers. Not everyone deserves to know your success.
I then sent it to my parents. Immediately my mom replied back with enthusiasm.
This is why I love my mom. She always has words of encouragement for me. I'm always ecstatic to know that I make her proud.
—————————
The next day at six o'clock sharp I started getting ready. I know that I have some time management issues so I started hours before the meeting.
After I made sure everything gets myself right, hygiene wise, I moved over to my makeup. I decided on doing nude eyeshadow with a pink wing eyeliner.
I made sure to learn how to do my makeup before I left for University. Nowadays makeup artists charge eighty dollars for a nude eyeshadow and eyebrows. Foundation don't even be included in the look.
All I know is I'm not paying someone to do the bare minimum on my face when I could do better by myself.
After I was done with my makeup I went on to put my clothes. Everyone knows that it's makeup, clothes, and then shoes. Don't argue with me either because that's basically the law of getting ready.
I don't know rather we're supposed to wear the colors of the sorority or any colors we want so I choose black. You can never go wrong with black.
I choose a black blazer dress and a pair of black Yves Saint Laurent heels. I paired those with a Coco Chanel purse, a diamond tennis bracelet, and my diamond studs.
Instead of doing the occasional wasting time on Instagram I actually got going. Even though it hurts me inside to be early I have no choice.
When I pulled up to the location I was amazed. Green and pink balloons and streamers littered the woman's hall. The AKA logo and slogan were plastered on everything you could imagine. Sugar cookies, candy apples, and even candy bars even had their logo on it.
Pearl necklaces hung from the ceiling, acting as a chandelier. The light reflecting off the pearls created a shimmery look to the scenery. Everything looks amazing but, I'll hate to be the person who cleans this up.
After I was given my name tag I walked into the crowded room, trying to make some friends. You could say I'm a popular loner. Almost everyone knows me but, I'm not everyone's friend.
People be too fake out here for me to have twenty plus friends.
After an hour of trying to communicate with people, I gave it a rest. Talking to people seems to exhaust me nowadays.
As I was sipping my ginger ale the seat next to me was pulled back then someone took a seat. It was a brown skin girl that had two nose piercing and a slime green wig. Sis was double-decker cheeked up, on a Thursday afternoon. Like me, she was wearing a more fancy attire, while the other girls went the causal route.
I can see us being friends. I don't usually like people but, I can tell I'm going to like her.
"Yeah, I don't like talking to people either. Hi, my name is La-Shawna but you can call me Shawna."
"Hey, my name is Serenity"
She seems very friendly and genuine. But I did what I always do. I let her talk and stayed quiet so I could read her. My gut is never wrong. So far she's giving me good vibes.
As we were getting into the good stuff the mic that was situated in the middle of the stage rung. You would think they would just tap the mic but no, they blew a loud ass whistle in there.
So now I'm sitting here shocked, barbecue sauce on my titty.
"Good evening gorgeous ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha. We are all here today because you made it passed the hardest part of joining a sorority, which is getting in. Starting next week everyone must move into the AKA building where you'll get your roommates. Tomorrow marks the first day of hazing. This is where everyone seems to leave the sorority and/or move schools. After hazing is hell week."
(A:N: I don't know if AKA does hazing or hell week. I'm using my imagination and using some research I found on sororities.)
The hazing and hell week was what made second guess my decision to join a sorority. Girls can be really petty and make you do the dumbest thing ever just so you can be a part of their sisterhood.
I remember my mom telling me that they made a girl from her sorority drink toilet water as one of her hell week tasks.
"This year we decided to split you guys up by grade level in order for us to do this more organized. After you make it through hell week everyone will become one big group. Each grade level has its own chapter leader and sisters. This year we have very mature freshmen take over to guide you guys through this sorority. Without further ado, I'll like to introduce you guys to your freshmen leader, Ms. Iyanna Peterson."
I watched her smirk as she walked on the stage. I could see the evil look in her eyes as she stared directly at me. She hates me and now I have to follow her every command.
This sorority is really going to take a punch at me. Literally.

Hey guys. So, I'm thinking about not continuing this book. For some reason I feel like you guys don't like it that and it seems boring to me.
I've been looking at how this book is going and it's doing doing so great. I don't know what to do with this book so I would really appreciate it if I should continue.
XOXO,
Black_baddie
