Today is Saturday which means one thing. It's "bust that ass Saturday". That's when I go to the gym for three hours straight and exercise my ass off.

I reluctantly put on my workout shorts and sports bra. My lemon water was sitting on the counter, waiting to be gulped down the minute I start walking down the stairs of my place.

There's a gym in my complex so I didn't have to go too far. On my way down the stairs, I accidentally missed a step and came tumbling down. I flew onto someone and landed softly on their chest.

At least I didn't bust my ass alone.

"I'm sorry"

I said as I got up, scrambling to pick up my water and my phone. When I didn't hear a reply I looked at the person I fell on. If I had to describe this guy I would get tongue-tied.

All I got to say is he looks like that fine man Keith Powers.

The first thing my eyes caught was his clean-cut hair. Light dark brown freckles littered his face, giving him a younger look. The little stud earring he had in his ears wasso sexy.

He kind of looked mean though. His face was in a frown as his eyebrows furrowed. I mean I can't really blame him. I did a trip down the stairs and land on his strong chest. Really strong chest.

I thought he was mad but, he broke out in a smile. A beautiful white smile.

"You good shawty"

Damn, he a hoe. He cute and he has some sauce behind his voice.

I nodded my head then quickly turned to leave. He grabbed my hand before I could leave, making me face him again.

"What's your name? Mine is Dominic"

Dominic? Yeah, he a hoe. His name is too cute.

"I'll give you my name next time I see you"

I said as I stepped away. I threw him a flirty smile then walked away. I could feel him staring at me as I walked away too.

You have to make these guys sweat. Even though it's just my name I want to make him work for it.

I'm not even being cocky or anything but I'm fine as hell. Any nigga will be lucky and blessed to bag someone like me.

Even though I only dated one person he doesn't count. Anyone before college was just a trial run.

We started dating in tenth grade after I accidentally spilled my orange juice on his pants. His name is Micheal. The whole school called him 'Pissy Missy' for the remaining two years of high school.

He met my parents and everything. I thought we were going to last forever but, some good things have to come to an end sometimes.

If Cassidy didn't sleep with him in order to show me that she was the pretty sister I would still have a boyfriend. My dad beat her ass for having sex with my boyfriend and having a pregnancy scare because of it.

I mean I didn't really care that much anymore. If she wants to be a homewrecker then that's on her. I just know personally, I would've never did that to her.

Once I stepped foot into the gym I wanted to walk right out. Everyone looked like they were going in on their exercise while I was going to do the bare minimum then leave.

As I predicted, I was tired by the time the one minute plank came. I wanted to pass out. It feels like it has been five minutes or even ten.

As I was on the treadmill I saw Dominic walking into the gym. I quickly hopped off and hid behind the bike. He made circles around the gym, looking for someone.

I hope he wasn't looking for my ass.

And that's how the rest of the week went. I saw Dominic multiple times but, I made myself invisible. I saw him but he never saw me. Ain't no way I'm giving him my name this early.

I could've just gave up but my crazy ass loved the thrill of hiding from him. It gave me this certain urge of mystery that I loved. I felt like a Charlie's Angel or something.

I was on my way home when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I took a deep breath and sighed. I have on my damn headphones for a reason. I don't want to talk to these people.

I turned around and low and behold it's Dominic's fine ass. He had on a wide smile as he realized that it was indeed me. I gave him a forced smile and took off my headphones.

I know some people must think I'm crazy to be hiding from this fine man but I have my reasons. Form I'm from people that look like him weren't the most loyal person. He looks like a hoe, no offense.
(A/N: don't take offense to this, it's a Miami thing.)

My ex-boyfriend cheating on me with my sister didn't make me trust guys either. I don't think he likes dark skin girls anyway.

"Hey"

"Hi Dominic"

"You know my name, can I get yours now?"

I liked left and right, trying to find a way out. I decided to use the oldest trick in the book. I know it might not work but, it's worth a try.

"I'm sorry but, I have a boyfriend"

My lying ass.

"Is that why you've been ducking every time you see me?"

Busted. I didn't know he saw me all the time I tried to hide from him. I guess my hiding places should change from behind a small tree to somewhere else.

I looked stuck. There was no way around this either. I just had to put on my bright purple hair in the midst of all this hiding.

"So, now that we established that you don't really have a boyfriend, can I get your number now?"

"I told you I have a boyfriend like 305-477-6689 times like damn. How much more times do I need to tell you that?"

He was quick to take my number too. I thought it was going to fly over his head. He started saying the numbers out loud so he wouldn't forget a single digit.

"I'll make sure to give you a call"

"Yeah, you do that"

I said with a small smile on my face. He can call me but, I can't guarantee I'll answer the phone. I never pick up calls that aren't saved or don't look familiar. That's how them scammers get you.

After that, I hopped in my car and drove home. Today is Sorority recruitment or rush, where all the young ladies who want to join a sorority sign up for one.

It's always been my dream to join Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA). My grandma and my mom were a Kappa. I want to be the one who follows in their footsteps since Cassidy got dropped out before she could make it to rush.

I quickly hopped in the shower and got ready. I'm currently twenty minutes late for rush. I don't understand why. It's probably because I sat on my bed with my towel on for thirty minutes before I went to the bathroom.

I was going for a Beyoncé vibe with my outfit. I didn't want to look over the top but I wanted to impress the people at rush.

Only the people who didn't put as much effort to dress up calls other people overdressed. Just say you couldn't put together a bomb fit sweetie.

I picked out a green blazer with a colorful mini shirt. I put that together with my Versace letter belt and the matching purse and heels of the skirt.

"Bitch, you didn't put on deodorant"

This always happens to me. I be so hyped to put on an outfit that I forget to put on deodorant. I was about to be walking around here smelling like sweat and balls.

I made sure to spray on my Chanel N*5 perfume. I have to make sure I put my best foot forward. Everything about me screams a Kappa girl.

When I arrived I was happy I wore my extravagant outfit. Everyone else was wearing jeans a shirt. As I walked by the various sororities everyone was looking at me. Some girls were even begging me to join their sorority but, I declined.

I know for sure that my parents will sponsor any sorority I go to so I have to choose wisely. My heart is telling me to kick Alpha Kappa Alpha.

When I got to Kappa sorority I had to stand in line. I guess everyone wants to wear that cute green and pink shirt. It felt like forever before I got to the front of the line.

"Hello sis, welcome to Alpha Kappa Alpha. My name is Dorothy Simon and I'm the president of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Place your name right here to be considered for a callback"

She says with enthusiasm. I greeted her then proceed to put my name on the list. After I was done signing my name I felt someone shove me. I was calm until I turned around.

It was Ms. Iyanna Peterson, hater #1. Ever since I was deemed teacher's pet in Mrs. Anderson's class she hated me. She and her friends walk around hating me for no reason now.

"Oh look, she wants to be a Kappa now. Are you sure you can't pay to get in? Give them one of your many Balenciaga shoes. I mean that's the only way you're majoring and minoring"

She doesn't even know me and she already has a lot to say. Imagine if she knew that my family is wealthy. She just assumed I am because of what I wear and how I carry myself.

Everything someone mentions my status I get a little shy. Do I tell them that I'm from a millionaire family or just brush it off? If I do say I'm a millionaire I feel like I'm rubbing it in their face.

If we're being truthful, even if I wasn't wealthy I would've still carried myself in a wealthy manner. She's only considered poor because that's how she carries herself.

I ignore her and walk away. I know at the end of the day whatever I say to her won't matter. I'll let my sewing skills speak for me.

As I roamed around, looking at the other sororities my eyes landed on Dominic. He was signing up for the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He saw me and instantly walked up to me.

"If I didn't know any better I would say you're rich". He said as he looked at the designer clothes I had on.

"I don't really have that much money"

To be fair I didn't lie. My parents have the main source of income. All they do is give me some of their money to put in my account.

"So, what sorority you think of joining?"

"Alpha Kappa Alpha, my mom was her chapter's leader so I plan to follow in her footsteps. How about you?"

I already knew what fraternity he signed up for, I was just trying to bear his deep voice.

"I picked Omega Psi Phi. My dad was also the leader of his chapter. He was getting all the Kappa woman back in the day"

He said as he winked at me. He's such a flirt. I just giggled it off and continued talking to him. It turns out that he's an architect major. He takes morning classes so I don't have class with him.

"A black woman minoring in Architecture? That's amazing if I'm being honest. That's such a male-dominated industry and I'm happy to see that you're apart of the 17% of woman in that field"

His fine ass just keeps getting better and better. We took a walk around the campus, talking about anything we could think of.

"This mark I have on my forehead was from my older sister. She hit me on the head with a hot iron by accident. When I started crying she shushed me and offered to buy me ice cream"

I busted out laughing. That's exactly what siblings do. They hurt you then they try to hide it by bribing you with food. I don't have any human siblings so I wouldn't know that. My old friends were often the ones who told me about their sibling problems.

"Did you keep quiet about her burning you?"

"Hell no. I ate two cones of ice cream then ran to my mom to tell on her. She got a beating of a lifetime."

I just started laughing. He's a really cool person to talk to. I found out that he has 3 siblings and his mom is a professor and his dad is an accountant.

"So, do you have siblings? What do your parents do?"

"I have a mistake of a sister Cassidy and my mom is a nurse and my dad is a doctor"

I couldn't tell him that my parents are Kassandra and Timothy Dixon. I know I shouldn't have lied to him but, I had to. People often treat me differently when they find out about my parents.

It's not always the special treatment either. People expecting me to pay every time they invite me out or expecting me to have my parents hand them things is often the problem

We talked for what seemed like forever. I only noticed it was midnight when I checked my phone. Rush was over a few minutes ago, only leaving Dominic and I in the area.

"Well, it was nice talking to you but I have to get going."

"Right, I'm sorry. It was nice to formally meet you. Goodnight"

He said he took my hand and kissed it. I gave him a smile and started to walk away after bidding him goodnight. As I walked away I heard talking behind me.

I turned around and I saw Dominic and Iyanna arguing with each other. I just shrugged my shoulders and continued walking. It's none of my business.

The minute I got home my wig came flying off, landing on my couch. I took off my clothes and went straight to bed.

I have a long day of doing absolutely nothing ahead of me and I'm excited.
