The Smackdown Live following Elimination Chamber had been full of action, as the Smackdown Women's Champion, Asuka, called out Cassie to congratulate her on her astonishing moment which led her to victory at the Chamber.

Asuka: Peyton, I am here to applaud you on your success against Billie Kay. And now, we face off at Wrestlemania for this championship. But you need to know - nobody is ready for Asuka!

Cassie: Asuka, you proved at Elimination Chamber that neither Sonya or Mandy were ready for you. But that night, I proved that I am ready for ANYTHING!

The two then went face-to-face before Cassie thought about the slight injury she had sustained, and wisely backed off, to try and avoid any physical confrontation with her. As she arrived backstage, she saw The Usos along with Josh and Jeff having a face off before their 8-man tag against Nakamura, Rusev and The Bar. As soon as the cameras cut, the 4 shared a fist bump before Josh saw his girl coming.

Cassie: Seems like you guys have a friendly rivalry.

Josh: Yeah, we do, but it's gonna implode a little during the 8-man later... We've just been told that Jimmy and Jey are gonna turn on us, even though we win the match.

Cassie: Is that a good or bad thing?

Jeff: You wanna tell her or shall I?

Cassie: Tell me what?

Jeff: Well, you see, back in my TNA days, I had this alter ego called Willow. Extremely violent, loved dangerous matches.

Josh: I personally loved that side of you, by the way!

Jeff: Yeah, me too! Anyway, they're thinking of making him debut here in WWE, and they've said that Josh has 2 weeks to find his alter ego.

Cassie: So... what does that mean?

Josh: Basically, I'll be a different kind of character in the ring. More aggressive, more ruthless, that sort of thing.

Cassie: Ooh, sounds fun!

Josh: Anyway, we've gotta go for our match, so I'll catch you later, babe! I love you!

Cassie: I love you too, big boy!

The two then kissed before heading their separate ways. Josh and Jeff to gorilla, while Cassie went to catering, where she caught up with Leah.

Cassie: Hey girl!

Leah: Hey, you! I saw your segment with Asuka, that looked like a different side of you!

Cassie: Oh come on, all I did was get in her face a little! Anyway, it's time for Josh's match!

The two watched closely as Josh and Jeff made their entrance, while The Usos had a devilish smirk on their faces, not only to their opponents, but to their partners as well. After a 10 minute back and forth match, Jeff climbed the top rope and successfully hit the Swanton Bomb on Sheamus, but as he took off, Jey made the tag, and hit the splash from the top, then covered The Celtic Warrior.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

Greg: Here are your winners, the team of Jeff Hardy, Josh Stevens, and the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos!

While Jey went to get their titles, Josh and Jeff confronted Jimmy about the blind tag. After a bit of pushing and shoving, Jey had enough, and then superkicked Josh as he turned around, before Jeff then also felt a superkick. The champions then dragged Josh and Jeff's bodies to the middle of the ring before hitting the Double Uce on both of them. The crowd booed them while holding the titles up high, while standing over the bodies of their challengers at Wrestlemania. After the segment was over, Josh and Jeff, who were out of breath, made their way to the back, where Cassie was a little concerned.

Cassie: You guys okay? Those superkicks looked nasty!

Josh: Yeah, I'm okay, just a little sore from that splash...

Jeff: Nothing new to me, I'm used to it. Now, I'm gonna head off, I'll catch up with you guys after your Mixed Match Challenge match later.

Cassie: Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that!

Jeff: Good thing I reminded you then! See you later, guys!

Josh: Later, Jeff!

He then turned to Cassie, who's arm was slightly bandaged.

Josh: Will your arm be okay?

Cassie: Yeah, but it's you I'm worried about...

Josh: Don't you worry about me, I'll be okay. Now, let's go get win number 2!

The two then headed back to gorilla, and after Truth and Leah did their entrance, Josh and Cassie then came out, with both teams receiving loud cheers. But truth be told, the match wasn't really much of a match, it was more of a comedy section. It included a mega dance break, featuring all 4 of them, where Josh busted out some moves, which had the crowd on their feet, and also had Leah, Truth, and Cassie in awe. After the dance break had finished, Cassie, being the sneaky woman she is, quickly rolled up Leah for the win.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

Greg: Here are your winners, Josh Stevens and Peyton Royce!

Leah and Truth were in shock, but when it sunk in, both had a smile on their face. The four made their way backstage, where they congratulated each other on a good match and dance break. And after they split as Leah and Truth had to do an interview, Cassie and Josh then made their way back to their hotel room. And as they arrived back, Cassie then had a brainwave.

Cassie: Babe, can I ask you something?

Josh: Go ahead...

Cassie: You know we were talking about meeting each other's families at the Hall Of Fame ceremony before Wrestlemania?

Josh: Yeah, what about it?

Cassie: Well, I was thinking, since we don't have to be on Smackdown next week because of our 'injuries', how about we invite both our families to our apartment for a few days? I mean, sure, most of my family live over in Australia, but I have a cousin who can put them up for a few weeks until after Mania.

Josh: Hmm... that's actually not a bad idea, babe! I'll call my family in the morning and see what they think.

Cassie: I'll do the same! And don't worry about paying for my family's flights, I'll take care of everything on my family's side. You just worry about your family. I can't wait to see Louise again, especially after what happened at her party!

Josh: Wow you've really taken a liking for her, haven't you?

Cassie: Well, most things! Anyway, come on, let's go to bed, I need my beauty sleep with my snuggle bear.

Josh then smiled and chased her into the bedroom, stripping each other of their clothes before then jumping into bed, with Cassie smiling and eventually falling asleep on Josh's chest as he played with her hair while whispering to himself.

Josh: All this talk about family makes me think... how good would it be if WE had a family of our own?

He got lost in thought for a few minutes before he then fell asleep of his own accord, completely unaware that Cassie had heard everything he said. She looked up at his prone, sleeping body, and smiled.

Cassie: I'd love a family with the man of my dreams, and I'm looking at him...

She kissed his hand before eventually going to sleep, dreaming of the future.

3 days later...

After many phone calls were made to many family members, the time had come for Josh's family and Cassie's family to meet. Cassie and Josh had spent most of the morning getting ready, and when they finally were done, they then heard a knock at the door, and it was revealed to be Jonathan and Liz, Cassie's parents, as well as her sister, Beth, and her younger brother, Kieran, who had Cassie's dogs, Sheriff and Marshall with him.

Cassie: Hey, guys! Glad you could make it!

Kieran: Hey, big sis! Saw your match at the Chamber, you were insane to do that!

Beth: Yeah, that was mad!

Jonathan: Mad, but worth it!

Liz: It must have been difficult, facing Jessica, after what she did to you...

Cassie: Yeah, it was kinda hard. I mean, we went through nearly everything together, and for her to wreck it like that, it really did hurt inside...

Beth and Kieran then hugged her sister, who was on the verge of tears, but then wiped them away and took a deep breath.

Cassie: Anyway, onto other matters. Everyone, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Josh.

Josh: Nice to meet you all, Cassie's told me a lot about you!

Jonathan: Good or bad?

Cassie: Dad!

Josh: Relax, all good things. She's also been telling me about these two as well! 

He pointed at Kieran and Beth, who were playing with the dogs, but Cassie couldn't help but notice that while Beth looked happy, something looked a bit off.

Cassie: Mum, Dad, is it me, or does... Beth look a little bit... bigger to you?

Jonathan and Liz went wide eyed in surprise.

Liz: You mean... you don't know the big news?

Josh: Big news?!

Jonathan: Yeah, I mean, we didn't plan on telling you till dinner tonight,  but... Your sister's pregnant!

Josh nearly spat out his drink while Cassie just stood there in surprise.

Cassie: Pregnant? So that means...

Josh: We're gonna be an aunt and uncle?!

Liz: Yeah, she's already a month along with her boyfriend, Connor.

By now, Beth had taken notice of Cassie and Josh's shocked faces.

Beth: I take it you've told them then...

Liz: Yep, fair to say, they look as shocked as when you first told us!

After another few hours of chatting and Josh getting to know Cassie's family, there was another knock at the door, and it was Josh's parents, David and Susie, as well as his little sister, Louise, and his dog, Buster.

Josh: Hey, you lot! Hey there, boy!

He knelt down to pet Buster, who licked his face in reply. He then immediately saw Sheriff and Marshall, and went off to play with them.

Louise: So, how's things, big bro?

Josh: Yeah, pretty good, thanks! 

David: Glad to hear it! We hear you've got your big tag title match at Wrestlemania, and your lovely lady has her own Mania moment coming up!

Cassie buried her face in Josh's shoulder, as she blushed a little.

Josh: Yeah, fair to say, she did scare me a little with the finish, but I couldn't be more proud of her and I couldn't ask for a better woman in my life.

Cassie was now full on embarrassed, as she then introduced her family to Josh's.

Cassie: Anyway, moving on, Mum, Dad, Beth, Kieran...

Josh: I'd like you all to meet my mum, Susie, my dad David, and my little sister Louise.

Susie: Nice to meet you all!

David: Cassie has told us a bit about you guys, I hear you're a big football fan, Jonathan!

Jonathan: Yep, been following the Premier League for a while now! Big Chelsea fan...

David: Same here!

The gents then got a beer each from the fridge and took a seat, while the mums had a good natter and then got cooking dinner in the kitchen, while Josh and Cassie just looked at the scene around them.

Josh: This was definitely a great idea!

Cassie: I'm glad you agree, I've been thinking what this gathering would be like... it's exactly how I wanted it!

The happy couple spent the next hour discussing random topics with each other's families and getting to know them better. Then, when it was time for dinner, the big moment had arrived for Beth. She quickly whispered to Josh and Cassie about what she would do.

Beth: So.... is now a good time?

The three looked around and saw everyone had pretty much finished their meals, which was a portion of lasagne each with a side of Josh's homemade garlic cibatta bread and some salad, while the dogs all enjoyed a juicy steak each! Cassie then looked back at Beth and smiled.

Cassie: Yep, now's perfect.

With that, Josh got up, and tapped the glass to get everyone's attention.

Josh: Okay then... I'm rubbish at speeches so here goes... I just wanna thank all of you guys for making it here today, cos it means a lot for both me and Cassie that you guys get along okay. Which is why I'd like to propose a toast. To a happy family!

All: To a happy family!

Everyone then clinked their glasses together before Josh spoke up once more.

Josh: And with that, I'd like to hand you over to Beth here, who has a little surprise for you.

Beth: Thanks, Josh. Now, most of you here already know, but I feel like now is the right time to spill the beans for everyone else... I'm gonna be having a baby!

Everyone then cheered for Beth, who then embraced Cassie as she began to cry a little.

Beth: Thanks sis. That felt good to get off my chest!

Cassie: No worries, anything for my sister!

Beth: By the way, I don't wanna speak so loudly, but...

She took Cassie to a quieter part of the apartment.

Beth: Have you ever thought about having a family of your own with Josh?

Cassie was hesitant to reply, but knew she could trust her not to tell Josh until the time was right.

Cassie: I'll admit, I have had a few thoughts about my future with him. I mean, he's definitely the one for me, and I did overhear him talking to himself about it one night after Smackdown.

Beth: Then go for it! When you think you're ready, tell him!

Cassie: I will, don't you worry!

The sisters then went back to the living room, where they saw Josh playing with the dogs, and everyone else chatting.

Kieran: Hey guys, how about all of us get together for a photo?!

Louise: Awesome idea!

Jonathan got his camera ready while everyone else huddled up, with Josh and Cassie on the floor, laying in front of their respective families and dogs.

Jonathan: Okay, it's on a timer so...

He quickly ran back into position and then saw the camera flash multiple times. 

Liz: Well, let's have a look then!

Louise: I wanna see if my hair was okay!

Kieran: Relax, we can always do another one!

As the phone showed the picture with everyone smiling, Cassie looked at Josh in the picture and quietly muttered to herself.

Cassie: One day... we can have a family of our own...

Josh then cuddled her from behind and wrapped his arms around her waist as he looked at the photo and kissed her neck.

Josh: What are you muttering about?

Cassie: Oh, nothing...
