Elimination Chamber had arrived, and the card for the pay-per-view was stacked. On the preshow, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable had retained the Raw Tag Titles against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, while Buddy Murphy retained his Cruiserweight Championship in an epic match against Akira Tozawa. The main show had now started and after the US Championship match, where Samoa Joe retained against Andrade and Rey Mysterio, it was now time for Josh and Jeff to try and seal their Wrestlemania match against the Smackdown Tag Team Champions. Just before they did their entrance, Cassie gave Josh a kiss and hug for good luck.

Cassie: Babe... you go out there and do me proud... Just don't do anything stupid...

Josh: Come on babe, would I ever?

Cassie: Jeff, make sure he doesn't do anything stupid...

Jeff: I'll do my best...

Cassie gave them both a hug, and left to watch the match with Leah in catering. Jeff and Josh had done their entrance and were now waiting for Ricochet and Aleister to do theirs. When that was done, the bell rang, with Jeff and Aleister kicking things off. After avoiding a Black Mass attempt, Jeff hit Whisper In The Wind on Black, then crawled to make the tag to Josh, who jumped in the ring and now faced off with Ricochet, a man he had always wanted to face.

Josh: Let's tear it up...

Ricochet: Agreed, let's do it.

The two shook hands before locking up. After 15 minutes, Josh and Jeff hit a Poetry In Motion on Ricochet, before Jeff hit a Twist Of Fate. But before he could get up top for the Swanton, Black somehow managed to springboard up from the apron and hit Black Mass on Hardy before Josh came in and hit the First Spark backbreaker, taking Black out. Then Ricochet hit a kick straight in Josh's jaw, then climbed to the top and hit his 630 Senton on Josh.

Ref: 1... 2... thre-

Josh managed to just throw a shoulder up, and Cassie smiled at Josh's sheer determination.

Leah: How the hell did he kick out?!

Cassie: Come on Leah, you should know why cos of what he always says when he's in character...

Leah: Which is?

Cassie: That he is the Master of Energy, and he can't be created or destroyed...

Leah: Well, what about his finisher then, cos he calls that Creation Of Energy!

Cassie: Well, that's something you'll have to ask him when he gets back!

They then switched their attention back to the match, where Josh was in the drop zone for another 630 Senton, but when Ricochet took off, Josh moved out of the way, leaving Ricochet laying. While Hardy took care of Black with a Twist Of Fate on the outside, Josh climbed up and hit Creation Of Energy on Ricochet, connecting and then going straight for the pin.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

Greg: Here are your winners, Jeff Hardy and Josh Stevens!

As soon as the bell rang, Josh's theme blasted around the arena as he slowly made his way to his feet, with Jeff sliding back in the ring and going to congratulate with Josh.

Josh: We did it!

Jeff: Not this time... YOU did it!

Their hands were raised in victory as Black helped Ricochet to stand, and the 4 then embraced one another, while Josh then got a microphone.

Aleister: Congratulations, you guys, you earned it.

Ricochet: Yep, well done.

Josh: Mark my words, you two have the words 'future champions' written all over you. Whether that's as a team or in singles competition, it doesn't matter. You two are future champions, no doubt.

Jeff: I've been around in this business for a long time, and in all my years of professional wrestling, you two shouldn't be regarded as the next generation... you are the here and the now!

The victors then raised Black and Ricochet's hands as they all headed backstage, where Cassie, Kacy and Zelina were waiting. All 7 shared a hug with one another, and while Jeff and the others went off to do their own thing, that then left Cassie and Josh alone.

Cassie: You did it babe! You did it!

She hugged him and didn't let go for a solid 3 minutes before pulling away.

Cassie: I love you...

Josh: I love you too, more than anything in the world, sweetie.

They then walked hand in hand to gorilla to watch the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match, where the Usos were victorious in their defence, thanks to a Double Uce on Rusev.

Greg: Here are your winners, and STILL Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos!

Cassie: Well, there you go!

Josh: This match will be one for the ages...

Cassie: Possibly one of the greatest tag team title matches of all time...

Josh: Huh? Oh, I wasn't talking about my tag title shot at Mania. I was talking about your match, cos it's up next!

Cassie: Yeah, I know... and I'm kinda nervous... I've never done anything this extreme before, and never been in this kind of match...

Josh then grabbed her shoulders and looked directly into her eyes.

Josh: Cassie... this is your chance. Your chance to not only seal your ticket to The Grandest Stage Of Them All, but a chance to prove that you were the better member of the IIconics. If there's one thing that I believe in at this moment in time... it's you. I believe in you. I always have done and I always will do. This is your time to shine, Cassandra. Now go out there and believe in yourself!

Any sense of nerves on Cassie's face were quickly gone by the time Josh let go of her. He gave her a tender, loving kiss before he went off to watch the match, while Cassie herself took a deep breath and composed herself as her music then played.

Cassie: Okay, Cassie... come on... you can do this...

She did her routine entrance, with her flower on her at all times, before giving it to a young fan in the front row as she got in the ring. As Jessica made her own entrance, Cassie was burning a hole right through her, and as soon as she got in the ring, Cassie made a beeline for Jessica and attacked her with lefts, rights, kicks and suplexes galore. It wasn't until she went to the top rope to try and hit an elbow drop that she went wrong, as Jessica moved out of the way and Cassie landed elbow first on a chair. Jessica tried to take advantage and wrapped the chair around Cassie's right arm before locking in the cross armbreaker, causing her to scream in pain. Meanwhile, Josh was watching on nervously with AJ and Jeff.

Jeff: Ouch...

AJ: God, hope she's okay...

Josh was speechless as to what he saw. He was tempted to go out there and help his girl, but he knew that thanks to his motivation earlier, she could pull through on her own. After nearly a minute in Jessica's submission, Cassie used her leg to kick Jess in the head, causing her to release the hold. While she tried to recover and get the chair off her arm, Jess then brought a table and a ladder into play, and set the table up next to the ladder before then getting a mic.

Jessica: Cassie... you don't deserve ANYTHING!!! You never have done, and you NEVER DID!!! I'm the one who's going to Wrestlemania!

The crowd booed her loudly as she pulled Cassie up by her hair, but as she tried to put her on the table, Cassie then remembered the speech Josh gave her before the match.

Josh: I believe in you. I always have done and I always will do. This is your time to shine, Cassandra. Now go out there and believe in yourself!

She then had a burst of energy running through her, and as Jessie tried to kick her in the face, Cassie caught her leg and countered with a leg lariat, and then remembered what she did to Jessica on Smackdown, when she knocked her out. So she then delivered a Shining Wizard right to her face, and then Jessica's body went limp. Cassie then dragged her body onto the table and climbed onto the top rope. She then saw the ladder that was set up earlier and climbed up to the top. She then broke character for a second and looked into the camera.

Cassie: Joshy, baby... this is for you!!!

Everyone including Josh then watched in awe as she then proceeded to jump off and hit her own Creation Of Energy from the ladder, crushing Jessica through the table. The crowd were in absolute shock as to what had happened, as well as everyone backstage.

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

AJ: What the...?!

Jeff: Whoa... that was insane!

Josh, with his jaw dropped, just stared at the monitor in pure shock, as he was completely speechless. He watched on as Cassie somehow dragged her arm across Jessica's body for the cover.

Ref: 1... 2... 3!

The crowd then rose as one and cheered as loud as they could, while Cassie herself could barely move. She didn't even know she had won the match, until Greg announced it.

Greg: Here is your winner, Peyton Royce!!!

While Cassie tried to get her bearings together, Josh felt it was necessary to go out there and help his girl, so he ran to gorilla and spoke to Hunter about it.

Hunter: Go and do what you need to do, she's your girl, after all!

The two shook hands before he walked down to the ring, clapping for his beloved Aussie. He quickly got into the ring and both Josh and the ref tried to help Cassie to her feet, and eventually, they did it. She looked absolutely exhausted, and when she saw that it was Josh helping her, she tried to hug him as best she could, with Josh returning it.

Josh: You okay?

Cassie: Y-yeah, I-I think so...

The crowd cheered even louder when Josh leaned in and kissed her in the middle of the ring, over Jessica's broken body. Josh then raised her left hand as her right arm was still hurting from the chair and the cross armbreaker. They gently got out of the ring before Josh picked Cassie up bridal style and then they made their way to the back, where Leah and Jeff were waiting.

Leah: You okay, girl? You almost gave me a heart attack!

Jeff: Coming from someone who lives for the extreme, I have to applaud that moment of pure insanity!

Cassie just smiled at the pair of them before she closed her eyes and nuzzled her face into Josh's shoulder.

Josh: I'd better take her to the physio, she can barely move her right arm.

Leah and Jeff then smiled and patted Josh on the back as the couple made their way to the physio. As they were walking, Josh was curious about something.

Josh: What were you thinking?

Cassie: I just wanted to try something new... and also, H-Hunter said that he wanted me to produce something that would make people r-remember this match for a long time.

Josh: Well, I think you certainly did that...

She smiled as they then arrived at the physio.

Josh: Hey, James, you here?

James: Yeah, sorry! I was just watching what Cassie did, that was amazing!

Cassie: T-thanks...

James: Okay, set her down Josh, I'll see what the problem is.

After a thorough examination, James eventually came to a conclusion.

James: Okay, well, from what I can gather, it's not too serious, just a few pulled ligaments in her arm, as well as some minor scrapes here and there. A few days of rest, and she should be okay.

Cassie: Will I be okay for a promo on Smackdown on Tuesday?

James: As long as you don't get involved in any physical action, then yes, you will be.

She breathed a sigh of relief as Josh held her hand.

Josh: Well, I think our work is done for the night... we've both earned title opportunities at Wrestlemania, as well as captured the hearts of fans who ship us as a couple!

Cassie gave a slight giggle at that last bit.

Cassie: So, what now then?

Josh: Now... It's time for me to get you home and time for you to get some well earned recovery time.

Cassie: If you say so, babe.

Josh: Just one thing.

She then had a look of curiosity on her face.

Josh: Next time you plan on doing one of my moves in your matches, let me know!

They both laughed as they then got showered and dressed and they then headed back to their hotel room for the night, and as they got into bed, Josh snuggled up to his Aussie princess, while Cassie smiled in relief. Both she and her man were now destined to reach the Grandest Stage Of Them All...
