Today was finally the day of the Sports Festival, you were really nervous since your gonna be seen by a ton of pros. You were currently gonna get your shoes on as your bandmates were talking so much to you. 

"Y/n, be safe out there!"

"Try not to lose control of your quirk."

"We'll record the whole thing!"

You turn to then with a smile, "Don't worry. I know I might get hurt but it's part of the festival. This festival is technically a part if our training." You reassured. 

Your bandmates fists pumps and smile confidently at you, "Do your best, girl!" You nodded before Jennie pulled in for a hug, making you hug back. "Y/n, before you go, there is actually something important we need to tell you." Jennie said in your ear. 

You were confused but listened to her anyway, the girls look at each other before taking a deep breath. 

"Just so you know, Y/n..."

"[##] [###] [#####] [#######] [##] [###] [######] [########]"

You and your class were currently waiting in the locker room so you all knew to get ready for the event. 

"Aww man, I was hoping I get to wear my costume." Mina whined looking at her gym uniform. 

"At least everybody will be in uniforms. That'll keep thing fair." Ojiro said, stretching his arms. 

You can see your classmates talking about what the first event could be, while you were just simply quiet. You were thinking about what the girls said at home, making you bit more nervous. 

"Y/n? Are you okay? You have been quiet this whole time, I thought you would at least be a bit cheerful." Jirou said walking up to you. You simply looked at her with a sheepish smile. 

"Don't worry, Jirou. I'm just feeling a bit nervous especially with Pro heroes from around the country watching a scouting us. I wonder what heroes would scout me?" You said. "Well, the pros are dumb enough if they don't scout someone like you." Jirou says, putting a hand on your shoulder.You smile at her, making you feel more confident. 

Iida opens the door, "Everyone, are you ready? We will be entering the arena soon!" Iida informed, making you take a ton on deep breaths. 

"Midoriya." You heard Todoroki say to Izuku, Izuku looks at him in confusion. "What is it, Todoroki?" He asks nervously, "Looking at thing objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." Todoroki says bluntly. 

Izuku nodded, "But... All Might has an eye on you, doesn't he?" Todoroki glares at Izuku, making you glare at him slightly. "I'm not trying to pry about that, but I'm going to beat you." He said, making Izuku's eyes widen, "The same goes to you too, L/n. Your the person I want to beat the most." He bluntly said, making you taken back of what he said. 

You glared at him, making you think that he's slightly acting like his old man, oh, you despise that man with a burning passion. Todoroki's just thinking about beating you and Izuku. Kirishima puts a hand on Todoroki's shoulder, trying to stop the fight, but Todoroki shoved his arm away. 

"We're not here to make friends. So why does it matter." He said walking away, making you a bit sad, you looked down with your eyes shadowed. You wanted to make friends with Todoroki at least. 

"Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me and Y/n-Chan, but of course your better than me. I think you and Y/n-Chan are more capable than most people... Looking at it objectively... But, everyone-- The students from other classes are aiming for the too with everything they've got!" Izuku said, glaring at the ground. 

"I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too." Izuku declared, looking at Todoroki. You gasped a but from what Izuku said, you spoke with confidence and knows everyone else is aiming for the top. You walked up next to Izuku and looked at Todoroki straight in his eyes. 

"I'm going to beat you too, Todoroki." You said deeply at him. Making your other classmates surprised.

"Hey! Pay attention, Audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescences that you all love, the Yuuei sports festival, is about to begin! Everybody, are you ready?!" Present Mic announced. 

The audience was cheering wildly for the event, with some other Pros and Mass Media near them. 

"It's time for the students to enter the first-year stage!"

"The huge battle where fledgling heroes sharpen their swords once a year! Anyway, these are the guys, right? The miraculous new stars who overcome enemy attacks with their hearts if steel! Hero course, Class 1-A, Right?!"

You and your class finally step out of the tunnel, faces filled with confidence and seriousness. You and Izuku must do your absolute best for this, and All Might too. You looked around to see a HELL lot of people around, making you much nervous, but it's not compared to how much fans come to your concert. 

"They haven't been getting as much airtime, but this class is much full of talent! Hero course, Class B!"

"Next up, general studies Classes C, D, and E!" You can see Hitoshi up front, he sees you looking at him as you gave him a small wave. Making him wave back. 

"Support Course, Classes F, G, And H are here, too!"

"And business course, I, J, and K!"

"All of the first years are here now!" Present Mic finally says. 

You and the other first years met up at the front, seeing Ms Midnight in front of you, with her whip? 

"Time for the Player pledge!" She announced, making every guy in the audience blush. 

"What is Ms Midnight wearing?" Kirishima asked with a slight blush. "That's an R-Rated Hero for you." Kaminari nodded. "Is it okay for her to be at a high school even though she's R-Rated?" Tokoyami questioned as well, making you giggle a bit. 

You also see Mineta giving an aggressive thumbs up, making you deadpan at him. "Silence, Everyone!" Your attention was snapped back at Midnight. 

"And for the student pledge, we have, Y/n L/n!" Midnight says, making you yelp. You didn't really know that you had to do a speech in front of EVERYONE. You started to sweat a bit as Ms Midnight spotted you in the crowd. 

"Come on up here, dearie!" She cheerfully says, as you lowly walked up, still nervous, but also was shaking a bit. 

"She's the first year Rep?" Izuku questioned surprised. 

"I guess she did scored the highest on the entrance exam." Sero said. 

"Wow, not only she's our class Rep, but the first year rep..." Mina says. 

Class 1A turns to a girl from general studies sighing and glaring at them in boredom, "Only in the Hero course exams..." Making the hero class nervous. "It's obvious she hates us." Sero whispers, "Yeah, and it's all Bakugou's fault." Kaminari sneered. 

You got on the stand, right at the mic, you looked around seeing all eyes on you. You felt like you were gonna have a nervous breakdown. Midnight sees your nervousness and put her hand on your shoulder, "Take a deep breath, and Relax. Say what you want to say, dearie." She advises as she backs up. 

You took a few solid deep breaths, and closed your eyes, then, you felt relaxed easily. You open them and gave a smile. 

"Greetings. I just want to say good luck to every single one of you students. I know you guys don't like my class but, don't judge a book by its cover, because all-in-all, we're all the same, people just like you guys. I look forward to competing with you all in this event, if you know you probably doubt that you guys will even get to the finals, and not like your quirk or think that your even gonna show off with it, but, if you love your quirk just like you love yourself, then your already a winner. This event is for others to scout us, so don't worry about getting to the finals, just show everyone what amazing quirks you can do with it."

You then looked at the audience and other Pro heroes, and teachers. "For those watching here in person, and people watching on television, I hope you enjoy watching this event full of amazing, talented students. And don't forget to go Plus Ultra. I look forward to staying here at Yuuei with you all for the next three years!" You bowed at everyone, as they cheered wildly at your speech. 

Your class and teachers looked and clapped at you very proudly. You managed to turn everyone's mood around. 

"Sugoi! She makes an amazing rep!"

"Wow, she's think we're all amazing!"

"I'm feeling more confident!"

"I guess Class A isn't as bad as we thought."

Class A felt relieved that everyone wasn't hating on them anymore. Now good thing they didn't have to deal with people who hate then. 

[FIRST GAME]

"Now, let's get started right away. The first game is what you'd call a qualifier! Every year, many drink their tears here! Now, here is the fateful first game!" Midnight announced as a giant digital sloter was going crazy about picking the game. 

"This year, it's..."

[OBSTACLE RACE]

"..This!"

You all looked at it in surprise, doing a obstacle race right off of the bat. 

"All 11 classes will participate in the race. The course will be outer circumference of this stadium--about four kilometers! Our school's selling point is freedon!" Midnight licks her lips as she showed a sadistic expression. 

"As long as you stay on the course, it doesn't matter what you do! Now, take your places everyone!"

Everyone heads right to the doorway of the obstacle course, waiting for the green circle lights to go out. 'All Might, BlackPink, Dad... I hope you'll watch me!'

"Start!"

Every single students rushed immediately through the doorway, squishing each other too much. You hardly can get through, and you were feeling claustrophobic. You then levitate quickly, flying about the rest of students. 

You feel something cold as you see ice covering the Whole fricking tunnel. It must've been Todoroki. He freezed nearly every student to the ground, and they can't move, but luckily, your class, and some other students avoided it. 

'That was close. I had a hunch he might've done the same again like at combat training.'. 

You landed safely, seeing some people go ahead of you, especially Todoroki, you looked back at the frozen students. "Okay, that was straight out cold, Todoroki." You said as black flames engulfed your hand and placed it on the ice, melting every area of ice, including the ice path. They started to thank you and started to run immediately, but, you decided to teleport to the end of the path. 

"And right off the bat, Y/n L/n from Class A has unfrozed the entire ice path from Todoroki by melting it with black flames, causing it to melt off of the students, too! So deadly and cool! Now that's a hero student in training!" Present Mic praised. 

You teleported at the end, to see Mineta flying through the air. You were questioning what just happened. Until... 

"Targets found... Lots!" You see the inferno zero pointer robots from the entrance exams. You were slightly surprised they set up this many for a ton of students. You clicked your tongue and summoned some invisible tendrils and dysfunctioned them, causing them to explode. You sprinted and teleported at the end. You also see around you was Todoroki, you quickly looked behind to see ice covering a robot and falling to the ground. 'Todoroki did that on purpose, didn't he?' You dead panned. 

"Todoroki and L/n from Class A! They attacked and defended in one hit! How elegant! Amazing, they're the first ones through! It's you know, practically unfair!" Present Mic said, giving Mr Aizawa a thumbs up. 

"They're actions are logical and strategic." Mr Aizawa muffled. "As expected of someone who got in through recommendations and placing first on the practical exams!"

"Todoroki may never fought one before but those infernos couldn't get past L/n either since she awesomely defeated some. They couldn't get pass their elite moves!"

You finally arrived at the next obstacle, seeing something that made you feel weird and nervous a bit. 

"Hey, hey! The first barrier's a piece of cake? Then what about the second? If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl!"

"It's the Fall!"

You gulped a bit, not expecting it to be this big. But, your nervousness quickly vanished, you sprinted and jump, then teleport to each platform. You teleported to each one repeatedly. 

"L/n from Class A is simply teleporting above it, smart enough so you don't have to crawl at all!"

You and Todoroki have been running for a long time and finally made it to the last barrier. 

"And now, we've quickly arrived at the final barrier! The reality here is... That's it's a minefield!"

"It's set up so you can tell where the mines are if you look carefully! So you have to exploit your eyes and legs!"

You and Todoroki slowly but pacefully avoided the minefields that were everywhere. But, good thing you had a slight advantage. You started slowly and gracefully did some step dances around and managed to avoid the minefields, making yourself ahead of Todoroki a bit. 

You also hear some explosions, coming from Katsuki. He managed to get head on head with Todoroki, "Bastard, don't declare war to the wrong person!" He yelled as he tried to set his explosions at Todoroki. Looks like they forgot about you for now.

You tried to get away from as much as possible, they're dealing with each other right now. You heard so many explosions being set off by your classmates and some other students from other classes, you could easily just teleport but decided not to. But... 

BOOM!!! 

There was a real big explosion in the back, you turned to see Izuku flying through the minefield area from the back to the front, making him leap in front of you, Todoroki and Katsuki. 

"There's a huge explosion at the back?! What's with that force?! Was it an accident, or did he do it on purpose? Class A's Midoriya is in hot pursuit with that blast! Actually, he's taken the lead!"

You were really amazed by Izuku's move, he may not have used his quirk, but he really did think carefully and strategically. You smiled widely at him, he doing it! You continued to run through the minefield, with Katsuki and Todoroki neck-in-neck with you. You also see Izuku right in between Katsuki and Todoroki, about to slam a piece of them robot on the minefield near them, you then quickly teleported to the end of the minefield. 

BOOM!! 

You, Todoroki, and Katsuki were really close to Izuku, you can just teleport to the arena if you wanted, but, you knew how much this meant to Izuku for All Might, so, you're letting him take his moment! 

"Midoriya swiftly blocks those behind him! Would you believe it? He cleared the minefield in an instant! Eraser Head, your class is amazing! What're you teaching them?!"

"I didn't do anything. They got each other fired up on their own."

"Right now, the first person back to in stadium is that man... Izuku Midoriya's made a huge splash!" 

The audience cheered wildly for him for taking first place. You came in second, seeing Izuku looking at All Might with a proud face with tears in his eyes. You smiled and ran to him. 

"Izuku! You did it! That was amazing! You actually got first place without your quirk, how'd you do that?!" You say whiling hugging him. Izuku blushed at your embrace and started to stutter while also congratulating you for second place. 

"It's Okay, Izuku. I could've gotten first if I wanted to, but, I knew how much this means to you." You reassure while oatting on his head. "Deku! Y/n-Chan! You guys were amazing!" You heard Uraraka say, walking up to you both. 

"Oh, Uraraka." "First place and Second place is amazing!" She praised, clenching her fists. You patted her head and said a simple thanks, she blushed at your touch but, hid her face in her hands, with tons of people glaring. 

"The first game of the first-year stage is finally over. Now, take a look at the results!" Midnight proceeds.

"The top 42 made it through to the next round. It's unfortunate, but don't worry even if you didn't make it! We've prepared other chances for you to shine! The real competition begins next! The press cavalry'll be all over it! Give it your all!" Midnight stated before whipping her whip. 

"Now then, here is the second game. I already know what it is, but what could it be? What could it be? I just said it, and now here it is..." Midnight says before revealing the game. 

[CAVALRY BATTLE]

You blinked a few times at it since you don't exactly know on how it's gonna turn out. 

"Let me explain, The participants can form teams of two to four people, unless there's an extra left standing, you can have five as they wish. It's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle, but the one thing that's different is... Based on the results of the last game, each person has been assigned a point value."

Lots of people started to murmur about like how it was on the entrance exam, since it was a point based system. 

"Yes, thats right! And the points assigned go up by five starting from the bottom. So 42nd place gets five Points, and 41st gets ten points!" Midnight explained. 

"And the point value assigned to the first place is... Ten Million!"

. . . 

"T-Ten million?!" Izuku stuttered, with sweat beads all over him. You see that every single person glaring red eyes at him like he's their prey. You felt so bad. 

"That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!" Midnight announced. 

"Now, I will explain the rules of the cavalry battle. The time limit is fifteen minutes. Each team is worth the total of its members' points, and the rider will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many as they can. Stolen headbands must be worn the neck up. So, the more you steak, the harder it'll be to manage them! And the most important thing is that even if your headband gets stolen, or if your team fall, you're not out!" Midnight explains. 

"I see. So there's gonna be ten to twelve teams and if our headband gets stolen, we have more time to plan on how to get it back. How risky..." You muttered. 

"During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your quirks. But it is still a cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that are trying to make people fall on purpose! You'll be disqualified!"

The board shows a timer with fifteen minutes on it. "Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams Start!" Midnight says. 

You were quickly surrounded by a ton if students from different classes, other than your class, asking you to be on their team. 

"L/n, team up with us!"

"Kero, Wanna team up?"

"We actually might get first if we have you!"

"Can I ride on you...?" (we all know who that is)

As much as you didn't really want to decline them, you're gonna have to. You politely told them that you already know which team you're gonna be on as you started to walk towards that person. 

But, a couple voices stops you. 

"Y/n!"

"L/n."

You turn to see Todoroki, with Iida, Kaminari, and Yaoyorozu on his team. And Katsuki, with Kirishima, Sero, and Mina on his team. "Oi, You're joining my team, Y/n." Katsuki says surprisingly calm. "L/n, I want you to be on my team." Todoroki says. 

"Hey, no fair. We asked her first to be on our team!" Mina whined at Todoroki's team, "Well, we also asked her a bit more politely." Yaoyorozu retorted. 

You were just blankly staring at the team members bicker while their team leader stared at you. You chuckled a but before saying your answer, "I thank you for recruiting me to be on your team, but, I'll definitely be declining both of you." You said with a small smile. Making both team shocked. 

"First if all, Todoroki, you declared war on both me and Izuku and you said we're not here to make friends, so why would you want to team up with someone you declared war on? Now that's just stupid. And Katsuki, as much as I care about you, you been acting like you won't need my help at all, and you nearly killed me at that minefield. And, I'll be joining another team, because there was one I've had in mind." You say as you turned around to see that specific person. 

You smiled and speed-walked to that person, "Izuku!~ I'd like to join your team!" You yelled making Izuku cry like waterfall. "Y/n-Chan! Are you sure because everyone will be after me and my ten million stupid points? Tell me you're not kidding!" He cried as you dried yourself from his tears. 

"With my quirk we might win, right? If our headband gets stolen then I can get it back. And, you got to show everyone what you can do!" You say, before Uraraka walks up to you. "Deku! Y/n-Chan! Let's team up!"

Now that you got Deku and Uraraka, you guys need at least another player. "As I thought, this is great. You guys stand out!" You all heard a unfamiliar voice. "Team up with me, person in first place!" A girl with pink hair and goggle requested in front of your faces. "Too close! Who are you?!"

"I'm a student in the support course, Name's Mei Hatsume!" She introduced, removing her goggles revealing her yellow eyes. "I don't know you, but let me use your position!" She said, 'That's really straight forward...' You and Izuku thought. 

"If I team up with you two, then I'll be inevitably become part of the team everyone's watching not, right? If that happens, then my super cute babies will inevitably be seen by the big companies. That means, in other words, that those big companies will see my babies!" She fastly explained, "W-Wait a minute. Babies and big companies? What are you--" Uraraka tried to speak, but, Hatsume was only interested in you and Izuku. 

She then reveals some gadgets of her own with some other ones inspired by some famous heroes. Both You and Izuku decided to make her apart of the team, you looked around to see someone was left out, so, you decided to step up and ask them to join.

"Hey, you wanna join?"

Hewo everyone! I hope you all had a good Valentine's Day with your friends, family or significant other, or by yourself, I still hope you're doing okay! I had a great birthday and a bday dinner the other day with my cousins and it was full of laughter between us. I'm currently working on the valentines special for my other book and this one too so it's either that or the next chapter next but, idrk
