"What an overtake for Daniel Ricciardo! Moves like that prove that he really is one of the greatest!"
The commentator screamed as the race was in full swing, with the Mclaren Formula One Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo having successfully performed a double overtake in conditions that were not great at all.
Especially since it was the final race of the season.
The Mclaren seemed to glide across the track as it if was levitating, with every corner, every hairpin, every chicane, being absolutely perfect and faultless.
Though that was completely due to the person behind the wheel, with Ricciardo having a lot of experience and so many race wins that he was losing count.
His wife stood cheering for him in his garage, her smile as cheerful and bright as it ever was, the joy of formula one having been completely returned to her to the point where she was with him for every single race no matter where they went.
Their three children ran around beside her, happy to be with their mother and supporting their dad, whilst also being able to see their uncles Lando, Charles, Arthur, Lorenzo, George, Pierre, Esteban and Lewis.
The mechanics were pretty fun too for the kids when they weren't doing the pitstops.
"Mum!"
Jules Michael Ricciardo shouted for his mother, running straight for, his arms loosely wrapping around her legs, his brown curly hair wild as he stared up at her.
"Vic's stuck! She can't get out of the tyre!"
"Can't get out of the what?!"
Josephine Ricciardo rushed after her son in order to find her other two children, seeing the twins together, with her other son refusing to leave his twin sister behind since she was in the middle of sobbing her heart out.
Her arms reached in to the stack of tyres that her daughter had somehow managed to climb in to, singing a soft lullaby in order to calm her tears, her lips pressing a soft kiss to her three year olds forehead.
"I'm sorry mum, I dared her to!"
Jules apologised to his mother, his eyes apologetic and guilty looking, though she knew that if anybody was to dare her to do it, that it wouldn't be him.
It would be Hervé Anthoine Charles Ricciardo, the more troublesome of the twins, with the three year old boy refusing to look at his mother, only staring at the ground.
She hadn't expected to have twins three years ago, but now that she had them, she would never look back, because whilst they were chaotic and energetic, they were her children.
Jules Michael Ricciardo, the eldest child at five years old, named after the kindest man that both Josie and Daniel had ever known, with his middle name being taken from the icon that was, Michael Schumacher.
The three year old twins, Hervé Anthoine Charles Ricciardo, who was only supposed to have one middle name, but after losing a bet with Charles, Daniel opted to include his name in there too.
The youngest of the three and the twins by only seventeen minutes, was Victoria Pascale Ricciardo, their beautiful baby girl who was named after somebody who Daniel knew well, his former Red Bull team mates sister, and Pascale Leclerc.
As the family returned to watch how the race was going for their favorite human being, their eyes widened as they noticed just in which position that he was.
Daniel Joseph Ricciardo was in first place.
The crowd relished in how amazing that he had been driving, defending hard and lapping whenever he had to, storming his ahead in his Mclaren which not only made his family incredibly proud, but also his team principal.
They had wanted to drop him some years ago, but after the birth of his children, he seemed to come back to life, his driving becoming that would see him regularly on the podium, if not in first place.
The laps came and went with time and even with a pit stop, he was still so far ahead of anybody else, his nearest competition, being that of the Ferrari of her nephew Charles, though he was very far behind.
He was actually going to do this.
The crowd grew louder and louder the closer that the race got to the end, the screams becoming almost unbearably loud, with the children all using their ear defenders which were definitely needed.
The final laps ticked by, the team of Mclaren already celebrating, the fireworks beginning, the crowds somehow impossibly becoming louder until Josie honestly thought that she couldn't hear any more.
The last lap was like a fever dream, it was just pure joy, pure happiness, as if they were stuck in a dream world and would wake up in any second.
The Ricciardo woman grabbed a hold of her children and ran with them, with their favorite mechanic picking up the youngest in order for them to be there the quickest, wanting to scream and cheer him on as he was about to cross the line.
They couldn't miss it, they refused.
After all, when would there be another chance to see Daniel Ricciardo become a Formula Ond World Champion for the very first time?
And, in a Mclaren?
His car moved in to view as they screamed for him, yearning for him, his car crossing the chequered line as the race become won, his victory confirmed in such an amazing way.
As soon as he climbed out of his car, his eyes fell straight upon that of his perfect family, his helmet and balaclava being thrown straight to the ground, with the World Champion not even bothering to jump in to the sea of his mechanics and engineers.
For now, all that he wanted was to share this moment with his family, his three perfect children and his beautiful angel of a wife who had helped him through so much, kept him racing when Mclaren had wanted him to give up.
He had won a world championship and it was all because of her.
