Hey guys so I'm not starting the story yet this will be a proluge ok so I better shut up now so you can read the story so yeah

Age: 5
Kari's POV

I was hiding in the basement with my mommy while daddy was out there fighting since he's a guard. Our village was attack by 'shadow knights' mommy and daddy would tell me stories about them but I never believe them until this day, I heard screams of fear and death then the door knock. Mommy grab a sword in a stand and came over me "kari I want you to go to the forest without me or daddy ok" I was in a verge of tears "but mommy I don't want you to go" I cried and she hug me trying to calm me down " shhh, I know it's hard but you have to trust mommy ok" I wipe my tears and she stands up and kiss my forehead then she opened a secret door that led in the forest so I go in and I look back and saw mommy in tears and the secret door started to close "live long....kari" those were mommy's last words before the door closed itself.

Sometime later I was in the forest and I saw in the distance was my village on fire and I spot mommy and daddy.... dead then I felt someone behind me I turn around and it was a girl with white hair and violet eyes she put on an evil smirk on her face and she grab her sword then I started to run "shadow knights get her she could be useful to our plan!" She called her shadow knights and started chasing me then I trip and landed on a open field then I was surrounded by shadow knights then the white haired girl was about to grab me when we heard a roar we look up to see..... A dragon. The shadow knights started to back away even the white haired girl and she said in fear and shock "No it can't be, this can't be possible, the legends.... are true" at first I didn't understand of what she meant but something about that dragon seems familiar then I remembered that mommy and daddy would tell me stories and they told me about 'the elemental dragon' then the dragon the dragon landed behind me I and I look back in fear thinking that it would eat me but instead it bowed it's head asking me to climb on then one of the shadow knights was about to attack but the dragon breath fire and the knight was burn into crisps.

??? POV

That fool! Thinking he can attack the elemental dragon without thinking over something first "miss sasha we should retreat... For now" one of my shadow knights said and I nodded "let's go" I said and I look back at the little girl " but this isn't over little girl I promise you that I will be back!" I shouted and disappear without a trace.

Kari's POV

I stared at the white haired girl as she disappears and I look back at the dragon to be transformed into a beautiful maiden "w-who a-are y-you?" I asked in fear and she kneeled down to my level "I'm aurora also known as the elemental dragon now tell me little one what's your name?" " m-my names k-k-kari" i said in fright thinking that she would hurt me " kari.... that was a pretty name for a pretty girl so tell me you aren't hurt are you?" She said and I shook my head saying no she sighed in relief and suddenly hugs me " well that's good to know and you don't have to be afraid of me kari I'm not those who would hurt you like those shadow knights" I was so shock at first how can she see that I'm afraid of her maybe wait i remember mommy and daddy told me that elemental dragons can read someone's emotions and mind I wonder if I told mommy and dad- then I remembered that they're dead and I started to cry "why are you crying kari?" " my mommy and daddy were killed by shadow knights so is my village" i said and she looked surprise and she soften her face feeling the pain I've been and she wipe away my tears "there there sometimes it's okay to cry over something. Tell you what I'll gonna take care of you as my own child" she said "really?" I said and stared at her "of course a d I'll be teaching you about my magic ok" she said and I smiled brightly and hug her "thank you auro- I mean mom" I said happily and she smiled.

I was so happy back then, having someone by my side but it all change when she disappeared
