Kari's POV

After I left lady aphmau's house I decided to stroll around the village to get my mind off of this situation I was in *sighs* I just can't get that shadow knight out of my head somehow I mean he should have killed me when he got the chance but....He helped me instead, I still remember that scent when he helped me but I have to keep my guard up no matter what anyways I look around and saw the people happy, the children play, some of the people working and I have to say though it felt really nice seeing that, reminds me of crystal village before the incident 13 years ago.

Then there something that catches my eye though as I was looking through houses, I saw a pink house? 'Well this is interesting' I thought as I knock on the door and no answer, I knock on the door again and still no answer then I open the door and surprisingly the door is unlock and I decided to go in I look around and all I can see is bright pink and white as a girl with cat ears and tail appeared with pink hair ' a meif'wa? Well this is interesting'

" wait your not aphmau - senpai? " she said and I said " o-oh I'm sorry m-my names kari and you are...." she replied " kawaii~chan's name is kawaii~chan" 'she's talking in third person? Intresting' I thought as I heard a male voice " kawaii ~ chan who are you talking to- " he then saw me and I was just standing there, observing him then kawaii~chan said " oh brendan-kun this is kari - chan, kari - chan this is brendan-kun" and I said trying not to stutter since its been along time to talk to another person "hello, it's nice to meet you" phew, I didn't stutter this time " it's nice to meet you aswell, you seem pretty new here" he said eyeing me in a suspicious way " yes I'm actually new in here and I best be on my way now" i said leaving the house and continued walking.

Then I suddenly saw something interesting, it's seems like a witch's house but near a village? the more I stay in this village the more interesting it gets as i walked closer i saw a platform seemingly like a path towards the house.

the curious person i am, I jump to the platforms as i'm now in front of the house and ofcourse i went in. i was very interested in this place to be honest.

there are potions on the shelves and books aswell. "wow..." I said as I was in awe of the place not knowing that person came in " hey! who are you and what are you doing here?" i jumped slightly and look behind to the owner of the voice.

she has orange hair and red eyes she wears a witch's hat and outfit, so she is a witch and shes the owner of this place but i must say this house is really impressive.

"hey i ask you! who are you and what are you doing here?" she said " i'm sorry, i didn't know that it was your house you see i was actually curious about this place so i walked in unintentionally and i'm really sorry for trespassing on your property" i said, apologizing to her sincerely.

" well i guess I can forgive you but judging the fact that i never see you around before i'm guessing your new here. the names lucinda, I specialise on witchcraft magic" she said introducing herself to me "oh. m-my names kari its nice to meet you" i said.

then i heard her mind saying 'this power this girl emitted.......it's seems different.....' she thought in which I read her mind but I'm just gonna keep it quiet at least " well Its nice to meet you as well and if you ever wanted to talk more you can stop by at my place" she said and I nodded as I exited her house and jump through the platforms.

time past and I meet almost every single one of the people in this village and so I decided to take a break from meeting all of the people in the village and decided to look around a little more before I rest at the dock near Lady Aphmau's place.

while I was walking towards the dock I smelt a scent behind me, it has been following me ever since I pass by what seem to be the guard station and so I stopped in my tracks and turn around to face where they're hiding, " I know your following me, come out now " I said in a demand tone then the person show them self to me but it seem they're wearing the helmet and I sighed.

" what's your business here in phoenix drop...." he said "and how am I gonna answer you when you wear that helmet of yours?" I said, totally unfazed by it.

" Answer me! " he said, pulling out his sword but I just kept silent until....

"Garroth that's enough!" the person, or should I presumbly say Garroth look towards where Lady Aphmau is as she came down the hill which on top is her house " L-lord Aphmau... " he said while I just kept silent and she just sighed.

" Garroth I need to talk to her...alone..." she said

" but what if she-" she cut him off.

" I'll be fine Garroth we just need to talk alone" she said and he sighed and nodded before walking away.

" you needed to talk to me?" I asked her and she nodded " follow me in my house and I'll fix up tea" she said and went up the hill towards her house while I followed her and went inside her house.

I sat at one of her chairs as she fixed up tea, I could hear snores upstairs so I assume that she has children and this made me think back of my old village before it was destroyed, my mother was Lord of the village so you can say that I'm the daughter of a Lord.

anyways my thoughts were broken when Lady aphmau came in with tea, I quietly said thanks to her and sip her tea but I knew she have something to ask and look at her and she knew that I know what she's going to ask " Kari theres something I need to ask you" she said and I nodded.

"where do you come from?"
