*Bailey's P.O.V*

I was sitting around chilling, blasting 'Stressed Out' by TWENTY ØNE PILØTS and playing my drums, copying Josh Dun's beat. I smiled as I hit every note perfectly. I've had lots of practice since BLURRYFACE came out. That's about a year since the album came out on May 17, 2015 and it's 2016. My back was to the door and my headphones in. "Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days, when our mamas sang us to sleep, but now we're stressed out." Tyler Joseph's voice sang in my ears. I smirked as Josh's drum beat started again. I smiled as the song finished. I looked at my phone and noticed it was ringing. I picked it up. Dr.Banner. "Hey there, Dr.Banner!" I said, excitedly. "Hey, Bailey. Are you busy?" he said. "No, just practicing my drums." I answered. "Good. We need you at the Tower. Suit up if you please." Dr.Banner said. "Alright. Be right there." I replied before hanging up. I put on my "suit" before grabbing my phone, tucking it in my pocket and grabbing my keys. "Mom I- oh wait. I live alone now." I rolled my eyes at myself. I walked off to Avengers Tower, smirking.

-LITTLE WHILE LATER-

*Tony's P.O.V*

"Mr.Stark, she is here." F.R.I.D.A.Y. told us. "Great. Let her in." I said. A few minutes later, an 18 year-old girl with short navy blue hair and grey eyes wearing black jeans, a Pink Floyd 'The Dark Side of the Moon' crop top, grey Converse sneakers, a grey beanie and thick black glasses entered the room. Her silver hoop earrings and her red rose earrings in her pale colored ears. "Hey, guys." she said, giving a wave. This showed off her MP3 Player tattoo on her wrist along with her three diamond bracelets and her silver ring with a blue gem. "Wait, you're the girl I saw move across the street two days ago." Peter said to her. "Oh. Hi. I'm Bailey Jones" she said, smiling and holding her hand out. "Peter Parker." Pete said, returning the smile and the hand shake. He released her hand and Bailey turned towards me. She jumped into my arms with a smile. "Hey, Tony." she said, hugging me. "Hey there, kid." I smiled, returning the hug. She let me go and beamed. "So, what's up? Dr.Banner's call sounded urgent." Bailey said. "Well, first, I'd like to introduce you to some of the new Avengers." I said. I introduced her to Bucky, T'Challa, Wanda, Pietro, Scott, Hope and Sam. Clint put his arm on Bailey's head and used her as an armrest. She ignored him and turned to me. "Now, what happened was that Bruce and I were working Well, Bruce and I were working on an experiment with the Time Gem, trying to make S.H.I.E.L.D. a weapon and Cap was observing. Everything was fine until Pietro thought it would me a good idea to come running in. Messed some stuff up and now, Capsicle is a child" I said. Bailey facepalmed and looked to Cap. "Well, I'm no expert on the Infinity Gems, but I can try." she said. "Thanks, Bailey." Bruce said. "Wait, THIS is the mysterious HER you've been talking about? Some blue-haired teenager?" Amadeus asked, coming out of the lab. "I'm no ordinary teenager." Bailey said, crossing her arms. Amadeus rolled his eyes. "Oh, yeah?" he said. Bailey nodded. "Bailey is a mutant, like the X-Men." Bruce explained. Bailey scowled and I bite my lip. "Sorry, I-" Bruce started. "It's fine. My resentment to the X-Men is just strong." Bailey muttered. "Wait, the freak hates the team of freaks?" Amadeus asked. Uh-oh.

*Bailey's P.O.V*

"Don't call me a freak." I hissed. "Oh, sweetheart." Nat said, putting an arm around me. I put my head onto her shoulder. Nat was like a second mother. Just like all the Avengers were a second family. The boy who called me a freak rolled his eyes. "Who even are you?" he asked me. "Bailey Jones. Secret, reserve Avenger, mutant and super-genius. You?" I said. "Amadeus Cho. Also a super-genius." the boy said. "Dr.Cho has a kid since when?" I asked. "Since 13 years ago." Amadeus answered. I rolled my eyes. "I gotta work with him and Spidey, don't I?" I asked, jerking a thumb at Peter. Peter looked shocked. "How-? What-?" he said. "It doesn't take a super-genius to figure out the only Avenger I didn't know the true identity of was you." I said, smirking. Tony smiled and Cap shook his head. "There's the little girl I took under my wing." Tony said, patting my back. I blushed and pushed my glasses up on my nose. I hated praise. Tony seemed to remember that and backed off. I fixed my beanie and shoved my hands in my pocket. I then turned to Peter and Amadeus. "Ready to get to work?" I asked. "Yeah." Amadeus said, walking to the lab. Peter nodded and followed him. I sighed. "New kid already doesn't like me." I said. "Give him time." Tony said, patting my back. I hugged him before walking off to the lab.
