Man...Japan. Never thought I'd be here. It was always a whim of mine when I was little. The culture, the music. It was all so beautiful. What I didn't expect was traveling with a hyperactive friend with a BAG of clothes and still dressed in a T-shirt and pajamas.

"AHH ITS SO COOL!" Lauren yelled while I sighed for what seemed like the millionth time on this trip. I'm supposed to be working. I had three days left and now I have two! I'm not supposed to be on vacation!

"Hey Lauren, what do you want to visit next anyway?" I asked her while trying to keep us organized. While I like to plan lauren here like to... 'wing it.'

"OH OH I have a great idea!" She ran up to me screaming.

"Okay okay lets calm down, you're making a scene." I chuckled at her silliness an flicked her forehead.

"Hey!" She said sticking her tongue out at me and rubbed the spot where I flicked her. "I was thinking we could go to one of those hot baths! You know! Where it's all nice and warm! But I forgot what they're called..."

"They're called Onsen genius, for a weeb you know nothing about Japan." I teased her.

"Yeah yeah, but hey, we've been going everywhere I wanted to go. Where do you want to go next? Hmm?" She asked me.

"Well..." To be honest the reason I was spending so much time planning was to keep my mind of the problem back home, but I guess... "I want to see some nice sceneries like a forest or the beach, and you do realize we need to get a hotel too?"

"Oh...you're right! See this is why I brought you along!"

"I thought you said you brought me because I was staying at home too much..." I asked her suspiciously. She chuckled awkwardly and looked at the ground.

"Ooo shiny" she mumbled looking at the road beneath her. I sighed, clearly she hasn't matured a bit.

All my planning for nothing. I sweat dropped as Lauren bought 3 boxes of instant noodles while I waited outside for her to be done. It's almost sun set and we still haven't found a place to stay. What was she expecting to do with those noodles anyway! Burn her extra manga she bought to make a fire? I scoffed at that idea. Yeah right, manga is like her life source.

"Okay! I'm done!" Lauren happily said as she skipped out the store.

"Finally, you almost took as long as it takes you to put on clothes." I laughed as she pouted in front of me.

"Oh shuddup, anyway. What do you think we should do next?" She asked me. I deadpanned at her question.

"Lauren...it's almost sun set AND WE HAVENT RENTED A HOTEL!" I started hitting her over the head with my phone.

"AH! IM SORRY! FORGIVE ME!" She cried as she ran away to who knows where.

"Wait! Lauren! Do you-ugh and there she goes." I was about to start following her when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hmm? Can I help you?" I said while turning around. In front of me was a man who was a bit taller than me with grey hair.

"Ah! Sorry, but I couldn't help but over hear your conversation, are you guys foreigners?" He said with a slight accent. I looked at him suspiciously.

"Who's asking? And by the way you seem like a foreigner too with that accent- OOF" before I knew what was happening I got shoved to the side by an elbow. Looking to see who hit me I saw...Lauren!?! How did she get here so fast!

"So sorry about their attitude sir! They're quite the grumpy one." She said in a higher pitched tone.

"Ah, it's okay! You're friend here is right anyway, I am a foreigner but I've been here a lot too! Anyway you guys seem to be liking for a place to stay, right?" The man said with a charming smile.

"U-uh yes!" Lauren replied obviously fawning over him her thoughts were probably "OH MY GOSH YASSS!"

"Great! Well I happen to know a place where you can stay, if you just follow me I could show you!" He said enthusiastically.

"Oh hell no." This caught their attention.

"E-excuse me?" He stuttered still smiling like an idiot.

"You heard me, no way in hell are we following you to some random place, especially since we don't know you. So you better shut the f-"and once again I was interrupted by Lauren, this time by a swinging bag of ramen.

"We'll be delighted to follow you! Thank you!" She said bowing down and holding my head to make me bow down too, since when did she have such a strong grip! Through the corner of my eye I glared at her.

And that's how I ended up following a stranger to who knows where.
