Alex's P.O.V

I woke up in my room. Raph was asleep on a chair next to me. I kissed his cheek. He jolted up. "Alex!" He hugged me. "What happened in there?" I gulped. "I cant say. It-its hard to explain." He held me tight. "Raph?" "Yeah?" I thought of something that I would have to do to restore some balance. But it would be....painful. "I need to go somewhere. I wont be in danger. I Just need to train and practice with my fire bending." Raph kissed my cheek. "Ok, as long as you return safe." I smiled and pecked his lips. "I will. I promise."

I ran to the old Ruins, where Kyle was. "Alex!" He said happily. "Hey, Kyle. I need a favour." He smiled. "Anything." I sighed. "I want the amulet to be a part of me." He stared at me. "What?" I sighed. "I want the power, but I want it to be me, not the amulet." Kyle scratched his neck. "The only way to do that is......No, Alex I cant let you do that!" I sighed. "Please. I need it." He looked for an escape, but there was none.

"Ok, but there is no way! The dragons are all dead." I hung my head. "No, not all of them." I shifted to a dragon. Kyle stared in amazement. "Ok, cool. But I mean a leader dragon. One who has trained in this and-" I roared. A roar that could shatter mountains. Kyle was thrown back. I stopped and watched the sky. Nothing. Then a figure appeared. A red and gold dragon. It was larger then me, and was clearly male. He landed in front of me. "Hello, Azhtar." He rumbled. I was puzzled. "A-Ashtar?" He shook his giant head. "Ashtar is your dragon name, young Alexis." I was still in my dragon form, so I sat on my haunches. "How do you know my name?"

He snorted. "I know all about you Alexis. And I am proud to call you a dragon. You are brave, and have much honour." I nodded my head. "Thank you sir." "I am Kuzlong." He said in a low, strong voice. I nodded. "You can take it off, but leave the power?" Kuzlong sighed. "It is not that simple, young one. I can do it, yes, but I warn you it will leave you with pain like no pain you have ever felt. But most important, it will be harder to control your dragon side." I sighed and nodded. I looked at the tattoos on my arms.

"I know, and I am ready to risk it." I shifted back to my human form. I let out a breath and stood unafraid in front of the Dragon looming over me. Kuzlong raised an arm, and touched his claw to my chest over my heart. He closed his eyes. The claw glowed. then He pushed the claw into my chest. I screamed in pain, but remained standing. I felt pain. Pain like no other! I couldn't take it. 

But I had to. The Amulet exploded. I clenched my teeth, and suddenly I felt energy. My tattoos started to glow. It all stopped, and Kuzlong retracted his claw from my body. The wound burned then healed, leaving nothing but a pink scar. I touched it, it stung slightly. I looked up at Kuzlong. My hand flamed. I smiled. "Thank you." He seemed to grin. "Your welcome, Ashtar." He turned and flew off. I turned to Kyle. 

"Congratulations, Alex." I smiled. "Thanks." I said good bye to Kyle and flew home to New York. I went to the lair. "Alex!" Mikey yelled and hugged me.  "Hey, Mikey." Okami ran up and jumped up on me, licking my face. "Down girl! Ah, Okami, Off!" Finally she jumped down. "Hey." Jess smiled. "Hey." I replied. Leo walked up. "Hey, Lexi." I smirked. "what did I say about calling me that?" He smiled. "Nothing." I grinned. "Fair enough." I glanced Jess blushing. Ah, so she had a crush on Leo. How cute. Raph ran up and passed me. I raised an eyebrow. 

"Hello to you too, Raphie." But he didn't stop running. I rolled my eyes and ran in front of him. "Raph?" He stopped. "Hi, Alex." He smirked. "Why did you run?" I asked. He smirked and backed me into the wall. "To get away from the others." My back hit the wall. "Why?" He put his hand on my shoulder, still smirking. "Ra-" I was interupted as his lips were smashed into mine roughly. I slid my arms around his neck. 

We stayed there for a few minuets then pulled away. "I love you." Raph whispered in my ear. I smiled. "I love you more, Raph." I said. Then it came. A small urge at first then I suddenly changed. not physically, but in mind. Like my mind was taken over and another side of me had awaken. I felt.......wrong, and......right, but most of all I felt......savage. 

Raph's P.O.V

Suddenly Alex's eyes changed from a bright blue to a glowing dark red. Her hair caught fire, and she looked almost....not human I backed up. "A-Alex?" the voice that answered was not Alex's. It was a almost demonic dark voice. "Ashtar is not here. I am. And I will kill you as I will kill her!" I stared in horror as she/It...engulfed in flames, and walked towards me smirking, showing off razor sharp teeth. "Guys!" I yelled, before The thing pinned me to the wall and growled an unearthly growl.

"They cant save you." Then it sank its teeth into my neck. I screamed. It laughed darkly. then she choked. Leo's katana struck it in the torso. She roared. Turning on them, she was met with bullets from Dukes gun. I sank to the ground. Donnie came to my side.  "Raph-" I grabbed his arm. "Alex.....its Alex!" Donnie glanced at the creature on the ground. "What?" I grunted in pain. "A-Alex....." The creature whimpered and shifted to Alex. She lay unmoving on the floor, impaled by Leo's Katana. "Alex!" I shouted, tears running down my face.

She turned her head and looked at me. "Raph..........I'm...sorry."  I pulled my self over to her. "Its going to be ok. It wasn't you-" "No, it was. I-I thought taking it off would.......fix this......I now understand.....I cant stay here any more. I cant hurt you until I have controlled the beast inside me."  I watched her through blurred vision. "Donnie, take care of him." He nodded. "I will." Alex stood. Her wounds healed. She healed the bite mark on my neck. "Raph, I love you, but I have to protect you."

I watched as she stood. "Alex." I hugged her. "I love you." she whispered. I held her tight. "I love you too." Then she ran off.
