Continuation from previous chapter

Avni's PoV

We slowly moved towards the stage & the lights were dimmed, now the focus light is only on US .... We already had a couple dance during our engagement but that time everything was different I mean we didn't knew each other so well ...

But now everything has changed, we've changed .... we had some intimate moments during our pre-wedding ceremonies, we've almost kissed ..... & one more important thing is that I started falling for him ..... so obviously our proximity gonna effect me .....

My thoughts were broken when music started playing .....

He took my one hand into his & intertwined them, my other is resting on his shoulder & his other hand was wrapped around my waist. While dancing his fingers were brushing against my bare waist sending shivers down my spine .....

His intense gaze on me, his hot breathe against my neck, his body pressing against mine .... not letting me think straightly. To be very frank I just wanna drag him to a corner place & wanna kiss him like there is no tomorrow. This is the effect he is having on me .....

I really want our marriage to be successful & I'm gonna give my 100% to that. I'm not sure of his thoughts regarding our marriage but I hope he to understands that We are meant to be together coz that is what is written in Our destiny ....

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even realise when the music has been stopped until I heard a voice

We were about to get down but hearing another announcement we stood there itself .....

So I request all the elders to occupy the other hall which is on the other side of the resort as we youngsters planned some surprises for Our lovely couple AvNeil ..... hope you all will forgive us for asking you to vacate this hall .... we heard Rithvik say

I saw all the elders moving out of the hall, all of a sudden I started feeling nervous ..... I don't know why ? May be these are the side effects of Our  proximity we shared while dancing  .....

I came out of trance when I heard Tridha's voice, I saw her standing on the stage holding a mike beside Rithvik. Am sure they must have planned something different I mean something awkward that is the reason they asked all the elders to vacate this hall ....

So boys & girls are you all ready to play a game trust me you'll be having super fun ..... I heard Tridha say

Yes we are ready ..... I heard everyone say in unison

Okay! So the game is you'll have to pick one chit from this bowl, whatever is written in the chit you'll have to read it loud & do it. There is no backing out from this game, it's just for fun. Hope you all understood ? .... I heard Rithvik say

The next moment I saw Rithvik & Tridha moving in our direction, looking at them I can surely say that it's just not a normal game there is a twist in it. Keeping a halt to my thoughts I decided to play the game .....

I took the chit & was about to open but didn't as I heard Tridha's voice ...

Babe not now, hold on for sometime. Let everyone pick one chit & then we can start the game ... I hear her say

After that I saw everyone taking the chits, I so badly wanted to open this chit right now but I've to wait for some more time. As far as I know Tridha might have given this idea coz only can she think in this way or may be Rithvik .... I don't know but am feeling nervous right now ....

So I hope everyone got their chits .... I heard Rithvik say

Then let's start the game .... I heard Tridha say

Okay let's start with Avni bhabhi , can you please open the chit & read it loud .... I heard Rithvik say

I slowly opened the chit & my eyes were widened in shock. No I can't do this, how can I do it ? See I told you know this is not a normal game & now it's proved. I should've not picked the chit .... urghhh I so hate this ....

Babe what is written in the chit .... I heard Tridha say

I was glaring at her while cursing her under my breath .... & guess what she was laughing .... now am 100% sure that this game is suggested by that Dayaan only ..... coz only she will have such evil brain ....

Bhabhi what's written in the chit ... I heard Rithvik say

Having no other option I read it loud ...

I've to kiss the guy who's standing on my left side ... I read it loud & all were clapping while whistling

As far as I know on my left side Mohit was standing & on my right Neil .... atleast I should've taken the right side wala chit then I would've kissed him only. But it's okay Mohit treats me as his sister so no problem & moreover it is written I've to kiss & it's no where mentioned I've to do it in this place only right, So I'll kiss him on his knuckles .....

Yeah I know usually boys does that but it is modern century so everyone (boys & girls) are equal .... I chuckled at my thought.

Oye saale you were standing on bhabhi's right side, then how come you came to her left side ? .... I heard Rithvik shouting at Neil

I came here long back you didn't observe, So it's not my problem .... I heard Neil say

That is when I turned to my left side & saw Neil standing there while smiling ..... oh gosh when did he came this side, even few minutes back he was standing to my right side then when did he changed his place .....

Oh gosh I feel like my head gonna burst .... I don't know what's happening around me .... may be I'm over thinking ..... atleast now I can feel happy that am going to kiss my fiancé only .... at this mere thought my cheeks were heated up ......

But how can I kiss on his knuckles it looks weird, I mean come on he will be my husband in less than 24 hrs & he'll be having every right on me & vice-versa, So ..... I couldn't think further as my thoughts were interrupted by a Rithvik's voice

Bhabhi what are you waiting for, just do whatever is written in the chit ..... I heard Rithvik say

I slowly turned towards him, my heart was beating very fast than it's usual rate ..... I can feel his intense gaze on me even though I'm not looking at him ..... I titled my face in his direction & saw him leaning towards me .....

I stood on my toes to match his height, I was about to lean towards his face but I lost my balance .... & within a second he wrapped his hand around my waist pulling me towards him ..... I can no longer feel my feet touching the ground .... that is when I realised that he lift me up to match his height ....

I can feel his hot breathe fanning against my neck sending shivers down my spine ..... my grip was tightened on his shoulders due to our proximity .....

Kiss me sweetheart ...... I heard him whispering into my ears

As soon those words hit my ears, a current passed through my body .... oh gosh what is this man made of ? Just with his mere words & his intense gaze he is driving my crazy ..... keeping a halt to my thoughts I decided to do it ......

The moment I leaned to kiss him on cheeks he just turned his head & our lips brushed together, shocking me to the core .... I was about to recover from that but in no time another shock hit me ....

He made me peck on his lips .... I don't know how he had done that but it happened ..... as far as I remember he wrapped his one hand around my waist while his other hand held my head from the back .....

In the next moment he titled my head & pulled me closer to him in such a way that my lips met his lips ..... but thank god he put down me on floor while breaking the moment if not I'd have turned that peck into a passionate kiss .....

Wohooo not bad bhabhi ..... I heard Rithvik & Mohit say while clapping & that is when I heard everyone's hooting

Blushing I turned towards Neil & saw him winking at me ..... oh gosh this guy is testing my self control .... to be frank am unable to resist this man who will be my husband in less than 24hours ....

So Neil it's your turn, open the chit & tell us what is return in it .... I heard Rithvik say

I saw Neil opening the chit, I was literally waiting for him to read it .....

Abbey read it loud ..... I heard Rithvik saying to Neil

We both know we are doing this marriage for our parents happiness but I really want our marriage to last forever. I just wanted to tell you, The first time I saw you my heart whispered,

May be that's what a " Soul connection" is .... I really want to spend rest of my life only with you .. saying this blew a flying kiss towards me !!

Tell me who wouldn't blush for what he did ? ...

May be these are only words but the way he said, the way his eyes stared into my eyes made me blush really hard .... Even he wants our marriage to last forever, So our feelings are mutual ....

Oye this is cheating, how can you tell in a low voice ..... I heard Rithvik say

Haan toh, it's my wish .... it's not written in the chit that I should say it loud it's only written that I need to make my fiancé blush without touching her .... So I did that .... then how come it is cheating .... I heard Neil say while looking at Rithvik

But .... Rithvik couldn't continue further as Neil interrupted him

Oyeee chup, no if's & but's ....  am done with my task ..... I heard Neil say while winking at me & this made me turn into deeper red shade

After that we've danced on few more Bollywood songs for 2 hours & then had our dinner. Later we all retired to our rooms ..... changing into my night dress I hoped on my bed ....

Tridha said she will sleep with me for tonight but I said no, I want to spend some alone time ..... from tomorrow onwards everything changes, my surname, my house, my priorities, etc ....

Am happy that a new chapter is beginning in my life but at the same time am feeling sad for leaving my parents ..... every girl has to go through the same emotions as mine one day, why is that every sacrifice has to be done my a woman ?

Why can't a man do that ? These are very common questions thought by every girl ..... I was very happy with the fact that my in-laws are very modern in thinking & they believe that every girl should be independent even after the marriage .....

I've seen many of my friends( girls ) quitting their jobs once they are married just because their in-laws are not okay with that ..... like seriously dude ! For almost 20years girls parents work very hard for giving better education to them ....

They will make them pursue their studies of their choice, they will fulfill their wishes .... & even after holding degrees in their hands, they ( girls ) are forced to sit at home once they are married .....

I seriously hope this changes .... You all might be thinking I've gone mad by thinking all of these but trust me dude these are the situation faced by many of the girls & I wanna change it if the power is in my hands ....

Well enough of this, I had to sleep now because tomorrow is my wedding & I had to look beautiful when am standing next to Him .... from tomorrow onwards I'll be addressed as Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna !!

Neil's PoV

As soon as I retired to my room, I changed into nightwear & fell on my bed .... the moments I had with Her today started playing in front of me as if some projector is projecting the videos .....

To be frank I couldn't take my eyes off her, she was looking beautiful .... even while dancing I was so lost in her I didn't know on which song we were dancing .... I was completely oblivious to the surroundings .....

The moment I heard what's written in her chit, I changed my side ..... no way I would've allowed her to kiss anyone other than me .... I literally begged Mohit to change our sides but no use ...

I said I'll do anything if he agrees to me .... after thinking for some more time he agreed & you know what he asked in return .... I had to set him up with Tridha .... I agreed coz there is no other option .....

But how will I do that now, we'll for time being I'll leave that matter ..... once we are done with our wedding functions I'll to talk to Avni about this matter .....

Haayee a thought of her makes me blush, when I said those words "I wanted our marriage to last forever" I literally meant it. I seriously want to live my whole life with her, coz I know she's the one for me .....

I decided to take the things very slow after the marriage, I want us to be friends first, understand each other & then think about the rest. I'm ready to do what ever it takes to make our marriage work ....

Even if takes lot of time I don't mind, I really want to experience each & every thing with her .... I want to know how it feels to fall in love with her .... I just can't wait for tomorrow, it's gonna be very big day for US ....

From tomorrow onwards she will be my wife & everyone starts addressing as Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna .... hayeee how perfect that sounds, isn't it ? .....

Next day

The complete resort has been decorated with flowers & lights, it was looking very beautiful .... everything is perfectly arranged for the wedding today .....

👆🏻 this was the banner kept at the entrance of the resort ..... they are perfect for each other, the resort manager commented looking at the banner .... indeed they are, commented the other person standing beside him .....

Even the wedding planner was looking at the banner with awe expression .... surely this was a match made in heaven .... commented Akash ( wedding planner ) looking at the people standing around him .....

Tridha was arranging Avni's outfit & jewellery on the bed, while Avni was lost in thoughts ....

Avi, I still can't believe that you're getting married today ..... Tridha said while looking at Avni

But nothing was heard by Avni, she was completely lost in her own world .... not getting the response from her friend, Tridha threw a towel towards Avni & that is when she came out of trance ...

What happened, why did you threw this ... Avni asked looking at Tridha

So what shall I do, I asked you something but you didn't answer me, I've waited for 5mins still I didn't get any response from you .... So having no other option I threw this to get you into this world .... Tridha said while shrugging her shoulders

Oh sorry Tridhu, I was thinking something else .... So I didn't heard what you said ..... Avni said while looking at her

That is what I was telling, anyway are you thinking about Neil jiju ? .... Tridha asked while raising her brows

No, nothing like that .... Avni said while blushing

Mohit is a nice guy & am kinda attracted to him, I don't know what's this feeling is as of now but I like staring at him, I like spending time with him. I don't know what he feels for me but I seriously wanna give a try for US. What do you say ? ..... Tridha said while looking at her

May be you should go & talk to him directly, coz as far as I've seen even he likes you, So there is nothing wrong in giving it a try .... Avni said

Arey jiju ka call .... Tridha said while moving phone infront of Avni

No I'll answer first ...... saying this Tridha started running around the room while Avni was chasing her & Neela ma stood there while smiling .... finally Avni got succeeded in snatching the phone from Tridha ..... moving towards the corner of the room, she answered the call ......

Thank god finally you've answered my phone ... I was calling you since 10 mins ... Neil said while taking a deep breathe

Actually it was kept in silent , So I haven't checked it .... sorry ..... Avni replied in a low voice, she knows it's a lie but she cannot tell him that her friend was teasing her right

Hey don't be, it's okay .... Neil said

Anything urgent ? .... Avni asked

Yeah actually am planning to arrange a ambulance before our wedding, what do you say ? ..... Neil asked in a causal tone

Ambulance why ? Is everyone okay .... Avni asked in panicked voice

As of now everyone is okay, but I guess I'll be not okay in the evening ..... Neil replied

Why what happened Neil, wait am coming .... Avni said while moving towards the door in a hurry

Hey wait, nothing has happened to me now but once I see you in bridal fit I guess I might have a heart attack coz this poor heart cannot resist so much beauty at once .... Neil said while scratching his neck at the back
