Continuation from previous chapter

As soon as I reached her side I forwarded my hand infront of her & she immediately placed her one hand into mine & got down from the car while holding her lehenga with her another hand .....

We both walked towards the entrance & saw my family members standing there to welcome their bahu ..... After 5mins the ritual has been done & I was about move inside holding her hand but couldn't as I heard my Bebe's voice .....

Oyee don't enter like that , pick up your bride in your arms & then enter .... I heard her say while laughing

Bebe ..... I said while looking in every direction

What Bebe, even I've also done this ritual when I married your mom ......  I heard my dad say while winking at me

Not that I don't want to pick her up it's just that I feel shy doing these things infront of everyone .... I mean some privacy should be given right .... but there is no option I've to do this ....

Turning to my right side I saw her standing beside me while her face was staring at the ground .... may be she is also feeling shy ..... scratching at the back of my neck I smiled .....

Avni shall I pick you up ..... I said while looking at her

Haaan .... I heard say while her head was still facing the ground

The moment I wrapped my hand around her bare waist I felt her body getting stiffened .... smiling sheepishly I wrapped my another hand around her knees & picked her up ..... automatically she wrapped her hands around my neck ..... & our eyes met .....

We didn't even realise till how much time we were in that position ...... if I had power in my hands I'll definitely freeze this moment ....

Oyee shayad tujhe koi problem nahi hain waha khada rehke apni patni ko goorhna poori raat lekin humein hai, So please andar aajao Avni ko leke & haan baad mein room mein lejake goorhna ..... I heard my Bebe say while hitting my arm

I saw Avni's face turning into red colour, oh god she is blushing ..... & even my face colour also changed I guess ..... without wasting a second I moved into the house holding her in my arms ....

I was just moving like that towards the stair case while staring at her & that is when I heard my mom's voice ... turning in her direction I saw everyone smiling at us ...... we both were having confused expressions ....

Neil itna bhi jaldi kya hai, ek aur ritual hain uske baad you're free .... I heard my mom say

One more ritual .... saying this I stood there staring at everyone

Abh toh niche utardo Avni ko .... I heard bebe say

Smiling sheepishly I made her stand on ground ... my body started missing the warmth of her body .... seriously we both were indeed perfect for each other ...... if choosing a girl was in my hands , I was damn sure I wouldn't have found such a girl as my life partner...

That is why we should leave some decisions on our parents because they knows what & who are best for us. Of course it will take lot of time for US to start our life as married couple & am ready to take it slow .....

Later we were done with the last ritual & took our elders blessings .... I was about to say something to Avni but couldn't as I heard my dad calling me .... turning in his direction I started moving towards him .....

As I completed having conversation with my dad & Arav bhayya I turned in Avni's direction but I couldn't find her anywhere .... my eyes started scanning every corner of the hall but no use ..... & that is when there was a tap on my shoulder ....

Turning in that direction I saw Nidhi bhabhi standing there while raising eyebrows ....

Whom are you searching for devar ji .... I heard bhabhi say while smiling

No one bhabhi .... I said while looking at her

Even though it was lie a I replied her very confidently .....

Oo hello, don't lie to me ... I know whom your searching & yeah you'll not find her here coz she is waiting for you in your bedroom ..... I heard bhabhi say while winking at me

As soon as those words hit my ears I blushed ... I was about to go but bebe's voice made me halt in that position ...

Haan ja ja ab biwi agayi tho bebe ko bhul gaye .... I heard her say

I went towards her & wrapped my hand around her shoulder & made her sit on the couch ..... kneeling infront of her I looked at her before talking .....

Aisa kuch nahi hain bebe, aap kahe tho aaj raat mein aapke saath sojatha hoon ..... I said winking at her

Chal hatt badmash, uski koi zaroorat nahin hain ... jaa apne room mein ..... I heard her say while hitting my arm

Ji bebe aapka hukum sar aankhon par .... I said while getting up

Bas karo, chal jaa ..... I heard her say

Kissing on her cheeks I ran towards the staircase .... within a minute I climbed all the stairs & I can hear them laughing at me ..... but I didn't care to turn ..... right now my only priority is my wife ......

My heart started racing as soon as I stood at doorstep of my closed room ..... calming myself I slowly opened the door without making a sound ..... I stepped inside & closed the door behind ..... I can see all the decoration done for our wedding night ..

As soon as I turned in other direction, I saw her sitting on my bed with her head down .... I couldn't see her face as it was covered with the dupatta .... She is my bride & she is waiting for me .... thinking this a small smile crept on my face ....

I slowly walked towards the bed & sat infront of her .... that is when I saw her rubbing her palms due to nervousness .... I kept my one hand on her hands & I felt her body getting stiffened ..... shaking my head I moved the dupatta from her face ......

Still her head was down ..... I can see her face turning into red colour, she is blushing ..... haayee trust me, I can spend my whole life seeing her like this ..... I want her to look at me, I want her to talk to me but she is busy in her world .....

Unable to bare the silence anymore I decided to break it .... I cleared my throat before staring the convo .......

Avni look at me .... I said in a very calm tone while looking at her

She slowly lift her head up & our eyes met ..... gosh, she was looking beautiful .... how did I miss this sight during our wedding .... may be I was so busy not to observe ..... she is beautiful from inside & outside.. a perfect example for Epitome of beauty ...

Neil .... I heard her say

My name never sounded so perfect until now .... thank you mom & dad for giving me such a beautiful name .....

Are you okay ..... I heard her say while tapping on my shoulder

Yeah am fine .... I replied while smiling at her

That's it we started staring at each other again .... I guess this has become our hobby .... even though I try not to stare at her, I do that .... & nothing will be in my control when she is around me .....

Neil ..... she was the one to break our moment

Haan ..... I replied while looking at her

Woh, actually .... I didn't let her continue

I could sense her nervousness & hesitation .... I understood what she wanted to say to me, I don't know how but I'll get to know what she is thinking & how she is feeling ..... though we didn't bonded that much I can understand her very well ... may be that is what we call as Soul connection ....

Moving towards her a little bit I took her hand into mine & rested them on her lap .... she was looking at me having confused expressions .... taking a breathe I started the convo .....

Avni we are married now & we have very long way to go .... so first let's start our journey as friends, you'll get to know about me & I'll get to know about you. In friendship there will be no awkwardness, So we can share anything with each other.

When met for the first time I know my thinking was completely different about our marriage but eventually it changed. I really want to spend my whole life only with you. I won't say I fell in love with you but I can say that I like you.

I don't know what do you think about our marriage, if you still think we've to get separated am okay with that but please be honest with me. Will you ??

I said all these while looking into her eyes .... this time I couldn't understand her expressions .... I really hope her answer would be in my favour .....

Neil ..... I heard her taking my name

Hmmm .... I just hummed

Even my thinking was completely different regarding this marriage when we met for the first time but now I seriously want our marriage to last forever. I started liking you, the moment we talked near the swimming pool before our wedding rituals started ......

That is when I decided that I'll do anything to make our marriage work .... there are many girls who dreams to have a life partner like you & am very very lucky to have you in my life .... Even I want to live my whole life with you ......

Let's start our journey as friends .....

First let's change our outfit to something comfortable, you can use the restroom & I'll change it here ..... I said while getting up from the bed

Okay .... saying this she also got up from the bed & took her nightwear & went to restroom ...

After 10 mins I was so busy in cleaning the room, I didn't even realise her presence ..... it was her voice which made me look at her .... turning in her direction I was shocked to see her .....

She was just wearing a simple t-shirt pairing with a paijama .... no make up & no jewellery .... yet she was looking so beautiful, for a moment I forgot to blink my eyes .... the kumkum filled forehead & nuptial chain around her neck made her look more beautiful .....

Now I can proudly say she belongs to me ......

Neil, you okay ? ..... I heard her say while tapping on my shoulder & that is when I came out of trance

Yeah am fine ..... I replied while looking at her

Oh god, I was shamelessly ogling at her .... what she might be thinking of me ? ... by the way she is my wife & I've every right on her & I can do anything .... keeping my thoughts aside I resumed my work .....

I decided to sleep on couch so that she can take the bed ..... I was very happy when I got to know that even she wants our marriage to work .... Once we become good friends & get to know each other, we can start our married life together .....

As soon as I saw her moving towards the couch I called her ....

Avni .....

Haan Neil ..... I heard her say while turning in my direction

I'll take the couch, you can sleep on bed .... I said while walking towards her

No Neil, I .... I didn't let her finish

Avni please sleep on the bed & I'll .... she interrupted me

No Neil listen to me, I'll ...... I didn't let her finish while keeping my finger in her lips

Sssshhh Kitna bolti ho tum ..... I said while looking at her

Okay fine but I'll agree on one condition .... we will sleep on the couch alternately, okay ? ..... I heard her say

Okay done .... I said while smiling at her

I moved towards the couch & she moved towards the bed .... saying goodnight to each other, we both slept while covering ourselves with duvet & she turned off the light !!!

The bright sun light coming from the window is falling on my face directly, I tired to cover my face & sleep but no use. I slowly opened my eyes & glanced at the wall clock, it's 7am only  .... So I decided to sleep for some more time turning to other side ....

At the very moment I heard bangles sound, getting up I saw the beautiful sight infront of me ..... she was standing near the mirror & was looking breathtakingly beautiful .....

She was wearing a plain red saree with some matching bangles .... along with nuptial chain she wore some other chain around her neck .... she was so busy in drying her hair that she didn't even notice me ......

I was staring at her with open mouth .... I forgot to blink my eyes even for a second .... if this would be the daily morning sight, I don't mind getting up early .... coz usually I get up at 8:30 am but now onwards I'll get up at 7 am .....

Good morning Neil ..... I heard her say & that is I when I came out my thoughts

Good morning Avni ..... I said while smiling at her

Did I disturb your sleep ? ..... I heard her say

No not at all .... I replied while getting up from the bed

Well the truth is I got up listening to her bangles sound but I won't tell her .... coz from tomorrow onwards she will be careful  while getting ready & I'll miss her morning sight .....

Okay, meet you at downstairs .... saying this she went out while closing the door behind

Without wasting a second I took my clothes & went into the washroom .... as soon as I stepped inside I  smelled her scent & I closed my eyes inhaling that ..... it is feeling so good .... within a second my thoughts went wild .....

Imagining her scent over my body .... oh gosh Neil you shameless idiot, stop it ... I scolded myself while hitting my cheek .... after20 mins I came out & stood infront the of the mirror drying my hair .....

After getting ready I saw the time & it was 8:am .... Keeping my phone for charging, I went out of my room & started descending down the stairs .... I could see my whole family sitting near the table while having some conversation ....

Beta Neil, get ready for some teasings .... saying this to myself I moved towards the table slowly ..... taking a deep breathe I wished them .....

Good morning guyss ......

The moment they heard my voice, they all turned in my direction with widened eyes & open mouth .... I know everyone must be thinking that they are hallucinating me standing here but the fact is am really standing here .....

I saw bhayya getting up from his seat & walking in my direction scanning me from head to toe ....

Chote are you really standing here ..... saying this bhayya kept his hand on my shoulder

Yes bhai ..... I replied while smiling at him

Are you okay ? ..... I heard bhabhi say while keeping her hand on my forehead

Yes bhabhi, am perfectly fine ..... I replied while smiling at her

Neil beta are you sure that you're okay ? .... I heard my dad say

Hey Bhagwan itna drama .... mere ghar mein na saare log dramebaaz hain ..... phir bhi they are the best & I love them all .....

Jii dad .... I replied while smiling at him

All this while I could see Avni standing there & laughing ..... hayee how cute she looks.  That is when I promised myself, I'll do anything to make her smile ......

Shweta maine na bahut baar suna hain ki, aadmi badal jaata hain shaadi ke baadh par aaj dekh bhi liya, iski wajah se .... I heard my bebe say while pulling my ear ....

Ouuchhh bebe, chodo na .... waise bhi aap logon ko kush hona chahiye ki aapka tillu aaj ghar mein hi breakfast kar raha hain, So let's eat .... I said while taking my seat at the dinning table

I saw everyone taking their seats near the dining table except Avni ..... I didn't understand why she was standing there .....

Avni tu bhi baito, hum saath mein hi breakfast karenge ..... I heard bebe say

Jii bebe, sab ko serve karne ke baad .... saying this she started serving the paranthas in everyone's plate

I'm not a fan of paranthas but I eat them .... I was waiting for her to serve in my plate & at the very moment our arms were brushed against each other ..... & guess what our eyes were locked .....

But this time we came back to the world immediately .... I don't want another teasing session ..... she sat beside me & served parantha in her plate ....

The moment I ate, I was shocked .... I've never had such tasty paranthas ..... who made this ?

Paranthas are too good, if given a chance I'll eat all of them .... I said while taking one more parantha

Haan Haan sab kuch samajh rahe hain hum, jaldi utna, breakfast ghar mein karna, parantha khaana ...... itna change second day par hi pata nai aage jaa ke aur kya kya dekhna padega .... I heard bebe say

Mein kya bol raha hoon aur bebe kya bol rahi hain .... I murmured under my breath

Bebe kisne banaya yeh parantha ? .... I asked while taking one more bite

Teri biwi ne .... I heard bebe say

My eyes were widened in shock .... I just turned towards Avni & was staring at her ...... she knows cooking, wow ..... haaye Meri biwi kitni talented hain .....

Neil you can stare Avni later, first finish the breakfast  ..... I heard bhai say while tapping my shoulder

I damn sure my cheeks colour have been changed by now ... whenever I see her I completely loose myself .... I just want to sit & stare her ..... Avni what are you doing to me, am becoming crazy !!!!
