Flashback

My friends Rohan & Priya were in love with each other since 11th standard, after that they joined in same college. Everything was so perfect in between them, they were the ideal couple for everyone, they supported each other at every step....

I personally used to like them a lot & always dreamt of having a partner like him, so understanding, so supporting, so caring ..... Priya was so lucky to have Rohan in her life....

Eventually they got married & settled in Pune as Rohan works there while their families were in Mumbai. They managed everything so well, he never complained about anything neither she, they were living their married life very happily.....

One day suddenly I got a call from Priya asking to meet at one of the restaurant along with my friend Tridha to which I said okay. As discussed we both reached restaurant & were waiting for Priya, then I saw a girl walking towards us, we couldn't recognise that she was Priya as she was covered fully.... I thought something was suspicious but shrugged my thoughts away....

Then what we saw was beyond our imagination, never in my dreams I thought something will happen like this but unfortunately it's the reality. Her face, her neck & half of the hands were burnt & there were number of bruises on her body.... when we asked the reason for this she told us everything which shocked us to the core....

She said that these all were done by Rohan as he didn't had trust in her, one of Rohan's friend liked Priya even after knowing that she is married & when Rohan asked his friend he denied, instead he staid that she was interested in him ........

Rohan didn't trust in Priya but still she was living with a small hope that someday he will understand but he didn't. He got addicted to drinking, he got addicted to girls ...... even after lot of pleadings from Priya he didn't listen to her & he continued doing all these .......

Somehow we made understand Priya asking her not to take any drastic steps & she promised us the same. That was last the meeting, after that we had lost her contact...... we thought she might be busy in her life.... but when I met her parents after 3 months we got to know that they ( Rohan & Priya ) died in accident 10 days before .......

Flashback ends

Since then I lost complete faith in love & marriage ........ it's been almost 2 years since that incident happened but still I'm not out of that ....... I was about to turn in his direction but suddenly I felt his hands around my shoulder, he took me into a hug ........

Avni am so sorry for your friend ....... I heard him say

It's okay Neil ....... saying this I broke the hug

I don't know what fate has stored for us but I promise you that I'll stand by you no matter what ....... I'll be always there for you ...... I heard him say

I quickly mumbled a thank you to him......

Now tell me about yours, I mean why did you lost faith in love & marriage ....... I asked while looking at him

Okay ..... when I was 9th standard I got know about my maamu's failed marriage, at that time I didn't knew the exact reason..... they just told me that my maami left him...... once I was into college, I started to understand the things..... I got know that my maami cheated on my maamu.... since I was so close to my maamu he told me everything in detail, then I've decided that I'll never marry.... but due my parents force I'm doing this ....... I heard him say

I understand your concern Neil, but now we cannot do anything other than marrying each other..... we decided right after 6 months we will apply for divorce.... so till then let us go with flow..... I said while looking at him

Yeah ....... I heard him say

Can I ask you a favour from you ........ I asked him

Yeah sure ........ I heard him say

Can we just forget everything & enjoy all our pre-wedding & wedding rituals ....... I asked him

I don't know why did I asked him that question but I did it ...... to be frank I wanted to enjoy these moments with him..... wedding takes place only once in one's life time so I wanted to enjoy & cherish those moments throughout my life......

Even I was about to say the same thing, glad you also think in that way..... our thoughts are similar at times ....... I heard him say

Yeah.... chalo let's sleep now, from tomorrow onwards rituals starts ....... I said while getting up

Yeah let's leave ....... I heard him say while getting up

We both walked towards our rooms & wishing good night, we retired to our rooms.....

I'm feeling happy atleast trusting each other we were able to share our secrets..... I genuinely want our marriage to be successful!!!

Neil's PoV

The moment I saw her crying while telling me about her friend, I felt a pain in my heart.... I couldn't withstand her tears..... I just didn't knew what to do so I just hugged her...... don't know why I left some peace in her arms.... it felt like I belong to her & she belongs to me......

To be frank I genuinely want our marriage to be successful.... even if it takes time, I'm ready to wait..... we will take it slowly..... the moment she said she wanted us to enjoy our rituals, I was so happy coz even I wanted to enjoy all those .....

Wedding takes place only once in one's lifetime so I wanted to enjoy all these moments with her & cherish them throughout my lifetime!!!

Avni's PoV

I got up early & wore a white lehenga with yellow blouse & yellow duppatta.... I tied my hair into a bun..... looking myself in the mirror for one last time I opened the door..... there stood my bestie Tridha ......

Avi ...... you looking so beautiful, jiju will not be able to take his eyes off you ..... I heard her shouting

I felt my cheeks heating up .....

Let's go ....... I replied while diverting the topic

Oho look at you, just a mere mention of him... you're blushing ..... ahaan not bad ...... she started teasing me

Am not blushing & let's leave before Maa comes ...... saying this I was as dragging but she was not moving

Oye madam you're bride, so please stop this dragging & all..... please keep your head down like a shy bride while I'll hold your hand & will take you down  ...... I heard her say

Shy & me.... no way ...... I replied while rolling my eyes

Well you've to be little bit shy Avi ..... I heard my mamma say

Mom ......  I called her

Please baccha ...... I heard her say

Okay fine ....... I replied, if I don't agree my mom will get into her drama queen avatar & I don't want that to happen

As said by them I kept my head while my mom & Tridhu were holding me & we started walking in the direction of garden..... the moment my eyes fell on him , I just couldn't take my eyes off.... he was looking so handsome in that yellow kurta & white paijama .....

I could see the girls ogling at him.... am feeling jealous .....well how can anyone resist his charm.....  why haven't he noticed me yet.... thinking all these I started walking..... that is when I felt someone's strong gaze on me.... turning in that direction I saw him staring at me while his mouth was opened in shock..... I'm just controlling my blush seeing his gaze on me ......

I saw him walking in my direction that is when he lost his balance & was as about to fall on the ground, but his friends saved him from falling .....

Neil ..... you can stare bhabhi later on but now please walk properly ..... I heard his one of friend say & I chuckled at his comment

Mohit ......  saying this Neil bet him on his shoulder

Soon the haldi ritual started, all started to apply haldi on me..... my cousins & friends started to tease me..... I can here Neil's leg pulling by his friends as he sat beside me & there's only a cloth which was covering us from the middle......

I can see some people dancing, some were busy in teasing, some were busy in laughing...... this is the best thing we can witness in Indian weddings..... all the people from different ages participate in this rituals & it's super fun watching them.....

As everyone were done applying haldi on me, maa asked me to freshen up..... getting up from my seat I moved inside the resort..... I started walking in direction of my room..... suddenly my lehenga got stuck in my leg.... I was trying to remove but it's not coming out..... then I pulled that cloth in such force that I crashed on someone else's door & it was
opened .....

I thought I fell kiss the ground but I didn't , I felt a strong hands wrapped around my bare waist.... that is when I looked at that person..... thank god it was Neil ...... he made me stand & closed the door immediately...... my eyes were widened in shock.... he was shirtless..... the moment he turned in my direction I closed my eyes...... & turned in other direction due to shy ......

Avni... what happened ..... I heard him say

Nothing ...... saying this I turned to face him but I bumped into him & we both fell on the bed

He was underneath me .... our faces were so close.... I didn't knew he was standing right behind me so I just turned in full force & this is the result.... we both landed on bed ........ I can feel his hot breathe fanning on my lips..... gosh.... why am I feeling differently.......

He was about get up from me but he landed on me...... our cheeks brushed with each other..... I could feel my body getting weaken under his touch ...... again he tried to get up but he fell on me & this time our lips brushed with each other...... that's it I completely lost myself ...... in him

I saw him struggling with our entangled chains ..... this is the reason he fell on me for twice ......

Come closer to me ....... I replied while looking into his eyes

What ....... I saw him asking me in confusion

The more distance between us make our chains tangled ..... so decrease the distance between & we can remove that easily ......  I replied

I saw him leaning towards me.... the more he was coming near to me the more my heart started racing ..... I could hear the sound of my heart beats.... his body pressed against mine in such a way that if anyone see us in this position then definitely they will think in that way.....

I told him to stop & I started untangling it, I could see him staring at me..... I was literally blushing hard having him so close to me ...... but I made sure it ( blush ) doesn't appear on my face ...... after lot of struggling I separated our chains......

Getting up he forwarded his hand infront of me, clasping my hand with his hand I got up ..... we both were looking down ..... as it's really becoming hard for me to control myself, I decided to leave.....

I should leave ...... saying this I was about to turn towards the door but couldn't as there was a grip on my hand .....

Turn towards me ...... I heard him say

Hmmmm ...... I just hummed & turned in his direction

There is a ritual, bride & groom should apply haldi on each other..... so shall We ...... I heard him say

Well I haven't heard anything about that ritual ...... I replied while controlling my smile

Actually I've seen this ritual in one of the movie..... I heard him say

Okay ..... I replied while smiling

To be frank I also wanted him to apply haldi on me ..... so I immediately agreed

So is that a yes .......  I heard him say

Yes but there is no haldi here ....... I replied while looking here & there

Well we have lot of haldi on our bodies, so we can take from there ....... I heard him say

Okay, but what if someone comes ....... I asked him

Yaar Avni..... you will ask many questions, can't we do it without these interruptions....... I heard him say

Okay ....... I replied

He slowly started moving in my direction, I saw him taking haldi from his body.... reaching near to me he started applying haldi on my arms...... the way his hands were rubbing against my skin, started sending shivers down my spine ..... I saw him taking haldi from his face & started applying on my face ...... gosh if I was not standing against the wall I could've lost my balance......

Ur turn ....... I heard him whispering against my ears

I started taking out haldi from my body & applied on him, when my hands were rubbing against his hard chest..... I could see him closing his eyes.... I must say he is looking so hot with that toned body & perfect abs ...... I was about to take my hands away from him but couldn't as I felt a grip of his hand around my wrist ......

I was looking at him with confused expressions..... then I heard him talking.....

Well you haven't applied haldi on my body fully, so let me help you in that ...... I heard him say

Taking my hand into his he placed it on his body, I felt my hand moving under his grip...... it's been dragged in such a way that I could feel my hand tracing his each & every inch of his upper body.... I don't know what his condition is right now, but mine is like I might fall on ground due to the weakness in my knees ........

Done ....... I heard him say

Okay ....... saying this I was about to turn but couldn't as I heard his voice

I said mine was as done but didn't u say urs is done ....... I heard him say

I was just looking at him while having a question mark in my face ..... mine was already done & then what is he talking about .......

Don't think much Avni, You'll get the answers once I start my work ...... I heard him say while winking at me

Gosh ..... he already done a lot in a day..... & still he is continuing to do so.... how will I control myself ...... I gasped the moment his hands were rubbing against my bare waist & my hands automatically found their place on his shoulder & the grip was tightened...... unable to control my over flowing feelings anymore I closed my eyes .......

Avni it's done, open your eyes ....... I heard him saying against my ear

I opened my eyes & saw him already staring at me...... I could feel my body giving up under his intense gaze & touch

Unknowingly the distance between us is decreasing, I can feel his hot breathe fanning against my lips...... I saw him closing his eyes & I did the same ...... I will loose my first kiss to my fiancé ..... I thought & I was literally blushing inside .......

The moment we heard his phone ringing, our lips brushed against each other...... that is when we came out of that world...... I saw him turning towards other direction while ruffling his hair at the back ....... taking this as an opportunity I opened the door & ran towards my room ........

Sliding against the door, I feel on my knees..... I could hear my heart beats beating faster than its usual rate ....... we could have kissed ...... thanks to his phone's ring ....... a mere touch of his lips made my body weaken to this extent don't know what happens when we actually kiss...... I blushed at my thought ......

Even though I'm against the marriage, it feels like he is my soulmate ...... don't know what happens to me when he is around me ...... I could've stopped him from doing all those things but I didn't..... instead I felt that it is his right ....... & I belong solely to Him & he belongs solely to Me .......

If you ask me I seriously want our marriage to be successful...... let's see what happens ..... I'll just go with the flow !!!!

Neil's PoV

The moment we both fell on bed, I could see her blushing...... well even my state is same like hers ..... I don't know what happened to me..... I just told that stupid ritual, bride & groom applying haldi on each other ......... to be frank I want her to apply haldi on me & vice- versa.....

I was not satisfied with the way she applied haldi..... so taking the initiative I made her apply haldi properly on my upper body ...... the way her hands were tracing my Abs, I just couldn't control myself...... I could feel my body getting stiffened under her touch..... & I closed my eyes.....

I could see her milky white waist..... so to make it colourful I applied haldi ....... the moment my hands were on her waist I saw her closing eyes...... & I could see her lips parting ........ I asked her to open her eyes & we both lost in each other .......

For freaking two times our lisps were brushed against each other ...... it felt like my whole body is on fire ........ I don't know what are these feelings but I'm enjoying it ....... we both fitted in each other's arms so perfectly that it looks a jigsaw puzzle .......

The mole on her lips is so tempting...... her doe shaped eyes..... her killer smile ....... oh god I'm unable to control myself ........ Unknowingly the distance between us is decreasing, I could hear her heart beat beating rapidly ...... & mine was the same condition as hers ....... I thought I'll loose my first kiss to fiancée....... but a ring on my phone brought back us to this world.......

I don't know what happens when she is around me ...... though am against this marriage ...... I still want our marriage to be successful...... I don't know whether I did right or wrong but it felt so right at that moment .......It feels like we both are connected & she is my Soulmate.....

I feel like only I've right on her ....... & She belongs solely to Me & I belong solely to Her ....... keeping my thoughts away, I just decided to go with the flow & let's what happens !!!!
