Since morning I was unable to concentrate on anything... the only thing I was thinking about is the moment we had in the morning during haldi function .... What would've happened if we had kissed ? ..... omg .... a mere thought of this is making my body go through all the different emotions ..... I don't know what would've happened if ......

I couldn't continue my thought as I heard Tridha shouting my name ..... turning in her direction I raised my eyes brows while talking ....

What happened Tridhu, why are you shouting ...... I asked her while taking out jewellery from the box

Oh madam, since 5 mins I was calling but you were lost somewhere or to be more precise you were dreaming about my jiju, So to get you back to this world I had to shout ......I heard her say while walking towards me

The moment she mentioned about him, my face turned into red colour ......

Omg Avi, look at your face mahn..... you're blushing, that means you're dreaming about my jiju..... Ahaan not bad ...... I heard her say

It's nothing Tridhu..... I replied in a very calm tone

Yeah yeah I know ...... I heard her while rolling her eyes

Acha tell me how am I looking ...... I asked swaying infront of her

Avi pinch me, please .... I heard her say

Have you gone mad or what ...... I asked her while slapping her forehead

Oh madam am not mad, you're becoming mad ..... I'm unable to find my Avi .... where is she .... saying this she started looking around the room

Tridhu am standing in right front of you & you're searching me, still you say that you're not mad ..... I said while keeping hands on my hips

Arey the girl standing infront of me is Neil Khanna's fiancée, but am searching for my friend Avi ..... I heard her say

Tridhu, look at me..... am your Avi only .... I replied while holding her shoulders

No my Avi never bothers how she looks, what is she wearing but now she is doing all these things. So you're not my Avi ..... I heard her say

Avi, Tridhu ..... let's go all the guests arrived .... I heard my mom say while coming into the room

Yes mom ...... I replied while breaking the hug

Looking myself in the mirror for one last time, I followed my mom while Tridha was walking beside me !!!

My eyes were literally searching for one person but he was no where to be seen, it's been already 1/2 hr since I came here & designer started applying mehendi on my hands, but this person ..... arghhh ...  I was so lost in his thoughts that I didn't see the person who sat beside me ......

Don't worry he will be coming here in 15 mins .... I heard someone say & that is when I turned aside & saw Niti di ( Neil's bhabhi ) smiling at me ....

Whom are you talking about di ..... I tried asking  normally but I know how my cheeks are turning into red colour at a mere mention about him

It's okay Avni, we all crossed this stage ...... saying this Niti di winked at me while I tried to smile but it came out as a mere blush

Well what can I do, my heart is not in my control ...... whenever I listen about him or whenever I sense his gaze on me I start behaving abnormally ....... duhhh ...... I'm normal but only infront of him I behave in that way ...... weird right ! ...... I know ......

I saw my cousins & friends were dancing on songs, all were very happy ..... even I'm happy but still there is some nervousness thinking about marriage .......

Omg look at the mehendi on your hands Avni, it's beautiful ...... I heard Niti di say

Glancing at my hands I could see my two hands completely covered with mehendi ..... seriously it's beautiful

Do you want me to write your fiancé full name or you just want me to write his name starting letter ..... I heard mehendi designer asking me

I was about to reply but Niti di interrupted me ...

Just write his starting letter ..... I heard her say

Nowadays no one is writing full name, so starting letter would be fine ...... I heard some Aunties say

Okay ..... saying this designer was about to write but I interrupted her .....

No, I mean I wanted to right his full name ...... I said looking at my hand

Oh wow..... now stop blushing ....... I heard Niti di say to which I just nodded

It's done ...... I heard designer say

Then I looked at my hands, mehendi design was so beautiful ..... but his name on my palms is more beautiful...... I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realise that someone was standing beside me ...... suddenly I felt a hand dragging me that is when I saw Tridha taking me to the centre of the hall where everyone were dancing ......

Tridhu I'll not dance .... I said

Oh hello madam you've to dance ..... I heard her say

To be frank I love dancing but today I don't have any mood to dance ...... why I don't know ....... am feeling very low ..... I'm I missing Him ...... may be ..... gosh I so hate this feeling .......

Suddenly Tridha made me twirl, as it was done all of a sudden I lost my balance & was about to fall down but didn't as I felt a strong grip around my waist ....... my heart started beating very fast ..... I knew who it was ..... as this happens only when he is around ..... he made me stand properly .....

As my hands were covered with mehndi I couldn't hold him properly but his grip was tightened around my waist..... I lost in his brown orbs ..... trust me his eyes were so intoxicating, that you will forget the whole world ..... & that is what happening with me right now .....

I heard him singing some song, that is when I came out of my trance .....

He made me twirl & he started dancing to the song along with some group of boys ......

That is how we all continued dancing..... & not to forget I kept stealing glances at him while he also did the same ...... at times I couldn't control my blush due to his stare ...... & yeah he caught me blushing ........ wink 😉

He was dancing moving around me in a circle ..... I couldn't stop myself from smiling sheepishly..... the way he was doing each step, the way he was staring at me occasionally, the way he was winking at me in between ...... my heart is skipping a bit ...... this man is perfect in every sense 🥰

Unable to control myself anymore I turned in other direction ..... I don't know what is happening with me ...... I was searching for the answer but bad luck I was unable to get it ...... You're falling for Him ..... I heard my heart say ..... Am I ?? ..... thinking this I turned in his direction & saw him winking at me ..... that's it I immediately turned in other direction .....

My heart was beating very fast than it's usual rate ...... To calm myself I kept my dried mehendi palm on my heart ....... yes I started falling for Him ...... I said it loud ..... but thank god as the music was loud none heard it ......

I never thought I would start falling for him so early but it happened ....... well to be frank I'm so happy ...... now let's see how he will fall for me 😉 !!!!

Neil's PoV

Thinking of all the incidents happened during the haldi function a blush appeared on my face ..... I could see myself in the mirror as am standing infront of that ...... I was getting ready to attend the mehendi function .......

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even realise someone's presence in the room until & unless there was a tap on my shoulder ..... turning around I saw Mohit & Rithvik standing there having a wide smile on their faces ...... I didn't understand why there were smiling so weirdly..,,

Congrats bro ...... saying this they literally jumped on me & I stumbled a little bit ..... after that I hugged them back ....... we were best friends since childhood & we share all our secrets ..... no one knows me better than them ..... they are my family ..... after Arav bhayya they are the only one I look up to ...... coz everything cannot be shared with parents right ..... I trust them more than myself ......

Bro you're thinking about bhabhi, right ? ...... I heard Rithvik say

A mere mention of her & I start blushing .....

Dude we're talking to you ...... I heard Mohit say

Haan.... tell me ..... saying this I turned towards the mirror, I sounded so normally

I turned in that direction & saw Arav bhayya coming inside the room ...... thank god he saved me ......

Haan bhayya saying this I walked in his direction

Are you ready, we've to leave now ..... I heard him say

Yes am ready ...... I replied while smiling

Finally my bhayya got some time to see me, he was so busy in wrapping watch on his wrist that he didn't even see me once since he entered the room .....

Neil you're looking very handsome ..... saying this bhayya started adjusting my Kurtha collar

As soon as Arav bhayya stepped out of the room, Mohit closed the door ..... I know what's coming next ..... they both looked at each other & literally attacked me .... I was trying to come out of their grip but they were stronger than me .......

Arey ye aisa nahi bole ga, we've to do something else ..... I heard Rithvik say

Gosh they are definitely planning to tickle me or to do something else ...... before they does anything I've to tell them ......

We three were standing there looking at each other ......

You both know that I was against marriage & I wasn't ready for all these but for my parents I agreed to this alliance. So in the first meet itself I told her all these & even she was against marriage concept, so we both decided to take divorce after six months. But as the time was passing, I got to know more about her ..... I was kinda attracted to her, I like spending time with her, I like listening to her talks ..... I don't know what are these new emotions but I seriously want our marriage to be successful...... she is not like the others girls, she is different ......

Perfect is the only word comes into my mind whenever I see her ...... I mean not only by looks but everything is perfect about her ...... I just can't imagine some other guy standing beside her other than me ....... we are just perfect together ...... I don't know what she thinks about me, about us but I want us to be together for forever ......
