I slapped on her cheek, I was literally controlling my anger till now but now she has crossed all the limits .... who the hell is she too call my husband handsome & hot that too while biting her lips .....

I simply sat at the passenger seat .... I'm in mood to drive or do anything right now .... am unable to think straight .... all I want to do is kill that bitch ....

I heard songs playing in the car, that is when I realised that Tridhu had turned on the radio ..... but am in no mood to enjoy them ......

After sometime Tridha dropped me at Khanna mansion .... & I went inside but not before saying bye to her .... as soon as I entered home, I saw Shweta ma & Nidhi di sitting on the couch & watching tv ......

I really don't want them see me in this state, my blood is boiling with anger ...... god please give me some powers so that I can kill that dayaan .....

Avni beta, come & sit with us ..... I heard Shweta ma say when I was moving towards the staircase ... oh no, this is what I was trying to avoid but how I can tell them that am in not good mood .....

Her presence made me to recall the incidents that happened in the past ..... it took lot of time for me to come out of that & to start my life in a normal way ......

I slowly lifted my face & saw Nidhi di standing beside Shweta ma with worried expressions ... well who wouldn't be worried after seeing me in this condition .....

Avni beta, I won't ask you why did you cry .... just take your own time ... you can tell me whenever you want .... now go & rest for sometime .... saying this Shweta ma kissed on my forehead

Nodding I turned towards the staircase, that is when I heard Shweta ma's voice ....

Nidhi, take her to the room & make her lye down on the bed ..... I heard her say to Nidhi di

Okay ma ..... saying this Nidhi di held my hand & we both started climbing the stairs

After that we reached our room & di made me sit on the bed & helped me in lying down .... caressing my hairs while kissing on my forehead she got up from the bed .....

Take rest for sometime sweety .... saying this Nidhi di went out while closing the door behind

As soon as I tried to close my eyes, I started getting those flashes which were happened in the past ..... how I wished I could've had super powers, so that I would've killed that bitch long back .....

I slowly got up from the bed & changed into some comfy outfit & walked into the balcony & sat on the swing chair placed there .... drowning into those thoughts I closed my eyes immediately !!!!

Neil's PoV

I was literally waiting for this project since long time & when I got the news about the same I was on cloud nine ..... it's a dream project for me .... I just closed my eyes to thank the god & I saw a blurry face ....

When I was about to open my eyes I saw Her face, yes it's my wife face .... I was really confused why did I see her face ? That is when I heard Mr. Sharma voice .....

He is the person I look up to, he is like a father figure to me ..... he guided me in each & every step I took in this architecture field .... none of my family members were into this field ....

Well I'll tell you how & where did I meet him, for that I've to take you to my flashback ......

After my studies completion I tried very hard to get selected in some Architecture company or atleast as a intern under some architect but nothing worked out .....

At that time I lost all my hope, to be very frank .... I'd have got selected very easily if I took help from my dad but I didn't wanted to use his power .....
I wanted to be independent & get selected on my own .....

One day I was just walking on the road thinking about my future .... that is when I heard a loud sound ... turning towards the other side I saw huge crowd ......

I immediately walked in that direction & saw a young guy arguing with an old man .... everyone were supporting that young guy & that man was standing silent ....

I closely observed their vehicles position, it was clear that the mistake is done by that young guy but no, everyone were accusing that old man .... I mean this is what happens everywhere, right ?

We youngsters think that the old people cannot see properly so they shouldn't drive or walk on roads, come on man, who are we to decide that ?

Don't we get old after some years ?

Don't we want to drive at that age ?

How will you react, if the same situation takes place when you're in that man's position ?

We don't have any answers for these questions, right ?

Come on old man, talk something .... I thought you we're only blind that is the reason you didn't see my vehicle coming but seems that you're deaf & dumb as well, coz you haven't spoken a word since the beginning ....... I heard that guy accusing him

Now my anger crossed it limits, without thinking for a second I went towards them & stood infront of the guy holding his collar ..... before he spoke anything I gave a tight slap on his cheek .....

Don't you dare to raise your voice or talk rubbish against him ..... I said while standing beside the old man

Who are you ..... that guy couldn't continue as I didn't let him

Shut your damn mouth, neither he is blind nor deaf & dumb .... infact you're the one who is blind, coz just look at your vehicles position ..... he was going in straight direction & you were coming from this side to take a u turn .....

As per traffic rules you've to wait for the signal to turn green but as we are living in a democratic country we feel, it's our right do anything ..... but dude you're educated, So atleast you should be responsible right .....

What if you were standing in that man's place after some years ? Obviously you were not going to be forever young right, So just think in that way, you'll understand ....

May be you're feeling happy after accusing him but trust me you'll feel sad when you're being accused for the mistake you haven't committed .... I hope atleast now you'll understand .....

Saying this I turned in that man's direction, I was about to speak but couldn't ..... as I heard that guy's voice

It was around 5:30pm, we all were having our evening snacks while having a conversation on random topics .... that is when my phone started ringing .....

It was a unknown number, getting up from the couch I went towards the garden & answered ....

Hello, good evening sir ..... am I talking to Mr. Neil Khanna .... I heard a female voice

Yes, who is this ? .... I said

Am Preethi calling from Sharma designs .... your interview has been scheduled for tomorrow at 10 am, So please make sure you're carrying all the required documents along with your resume .....

I was so shocked, it is one of the leading architecture company in India .... it is a dream company for everyone who are aiming to become architects ..... I applied for this company very long back .....

I reached there on time, as soon as I entered I started observing the designs .... the architecture was beyond anyone's imagination .... I've been told by receptionist to wait at the 15th floor ......

I saw many people waiting for their turn, I've prepared well & am confident but still am feeling nervous .... I was continuously tapping my legs on the floor due to tension .....

I heard my name being called, calming myself I got up & went into the room ..... I answered all the questions asked by HR .... he told me to wait at the lobby .....

By the time I was done with other round it was around 2 pm .... oh I forgot to tell you, till now I went through 5 rounds ..... now only 4 people were left in the lobby including me ......

May be this is the last round I guess .... I was feeling damn hungry but I cannot eat right now .... I heard them calling my name, I went inside & saw a man in his 50's sitting on the chair .....

He is the MD of the company, he started asking me questions & I've answered them .... after he was done with the questions he asked me to wait at the lobby .....

May be after 1 hr, my name has been called again .. this time it was HR, the person who took my first round ..... my heart beats were racing faster, taking a deep breathe I called him .....

Excuse me sir .....

Oh yes come in Mr. Neil, please have a seat .... he said while smiling at me

I walked towards the chair & sat on it while looking here & there ...... hope I get selected ... this is the only thing I was repeating to myself ....

Congratulation Mr. Neil Khanna, you've been selected .... you can join us from Monday ...... I heard him say while forwarding his hand

I was just staring at him while my eyes were widened in shock .... am I dreaming or is it happening in real ...... please don't wake me up if it's a dream ....

Shocked would be an understatement, I was unable to say a word seeing the man infront of me .... he is the same man whom I met yesterday ..... that means ... I couldn't think further as his voice interrupted .....

Before you jump into any conclusion let me tell you clearly , I haven't recommended you for this job ... all I done is, yesterday when you left from there I found a paper on the road ....

When I picked it up I realised it was your resume, so after getting into the car I've gone through it & I was really surprised to see your grades .... So after I entered the office I just dropped your resume in the box ....

I haven't told a single person about you, it's because of your hardwork you got this job ..... saying this he leaned back on his chair

I was just at loss of words, I've heard many things about him being selfless .... & today I witnessed. Just tell me who does this, dropping a unknown person's resume ? No one does that .....

After reaching home, when I shared this news with my family everyone felt very happy & in that happiness I lifted Avni up in the air as soon as I saw her .....

I didn't even cared about my family members witnessing all this, I was just happy at that moment & the reason is in my arms .... My wife .... my Avni ...

I again lifted her up in the air after going to our room, she was asking me to put me down but I was in mood to do that .... I really want our marriage to last forever .....

I cannot think someone else in her place .... if am okay to say, I really want to kiss her senselessly right now but I know I've to wait ...... I'm really waiting for that day !!!

Next day :

Avni told me that she is going to meet her friend Tridha, to tell her the news of US shifting to USA .... & also to do some shopping.

Since morning I was busy with the documentation work required for travelling .... I didn't even got a moment to take rest .... & thank god everything is done .....

After a tiring day I reached my home, as soon as I stepped inside .... I saw mom & Nidhi bhabhi tensed faces, I was really worried ..... once mom saw me she came running towards me .......

Mom what happened, why are you worried ? ... I asked while holding her

Beta, I don't know what happened but Avni .... my mom couldn't complete further as I interrupted

After listening her name from my mom, I went numb for a second ..... but composing myself I asked her

Mom just calm down & tell me what happened ..... I asked her while making her sit on the couch

Neil, we don't know what happened but when Avni came back she was not at all looking ok, when mom asked her she just broke down in her arms ... So I took her to the room & made her lye down ......

After sometime I checked on her she was sleeping, So we thought to wait till you come .... I heard Nidhi bhabhi say

Okay bhabhi, don't worry I'll check on her .... saying this I got up & started moving to the stairs taking long strides

Within no time I reached our room, opening the door I didn't find her on the bed ..... may be she is in the restroom, thinking this I moved there & knocked on it but there was no response .....

I started to panic, where did she go ? .... This is the only question roaming in my mind .... that is when I heard some sound coming from the balcony .... I immediately reached there .....

The sight infront of me broke me to the core, she was curled up like a ball & was crying sitting near the couch ..... without wasting a second I moved towards her & kneeled infront of her .....

Avni, what happened ..... please stop crying & look at me ...... I said while patting on her shoulders but no use

Baby it's me, Neil .... just look at me .... I cannot see you in tears ..... I said while trying to take her into my arms

That is when she looked up to me & threw herself on me ..... I landed on the ground holding her in my arms while she sat on my lap .....

Baby please stop crying, you're scaring me .... tell me what is it .... I asked while rocking her on my lap ....

Sh...e ki...lled him ....... I ... lo...st him ..... she left the sentence in the middle

Baby, just look at me ..... saying this I lifted her head & saw her eyes were closed ... she became unconscious .......
