Continuation from previous chapter

For some more time Avni & Neil had normal conversation & then she hung up the call ..... She don't know why did he called her but she was happy after talking to him .... May be he knew that she was sad, but he is in different room then how come will he know .....

Well whatever it is, the thing which is mattered to her is he called her .... turning to other direction Avni saw Tridha raising her eye brows .... Avni knows what she meant by that gesture but She decided to ignore it .....

Avni's PoV

Where is mom Tridhu .... I said casually while walking towards my bed

Aunty said she is having some work & left the room long back .... didn't you notice ? Oops sorry I actually forgot, you were busy in talking with your fiancé, right .... I heard her say while raising her eye brows

Yeah I was talking, My fiancé my wish .... I said while looking in other direction

I didn't want her to notice my blush while I was talking about him .... every time I hear his name or I talk about him my cheeks starts heating up & my face turns into red colour .... oh yeah I forgot even when he is around me or talking to me it happens ...

I try very hard to be normal but it doesn't happen ... in less than 3 hours I'll be getting married to him, am happy at the same I'm nervous .... I know every girl goes through the same phase in her life .....

Oye hoye itna blush mat kar Avni thoda special night ke liye bhi bhacha karo jab mere jiju aur tum ek hi room mein honge aur ...... I didn't let her continue

Shut up Tridhu ..... I said while glaring at her

Only I know how I was controlling myself from blushing .... I know nothing is going to happen as such atleast for today ....  baakhi ka baad mein dekhenge ...... I murmured under my breath

Haayee Avi tumhe aisa blush karte huye dekh mera haal hi itna bura ho raha hain ab socho mere jiju ka kya haal hoga ..... I heard her say while placing her hand on my shoulder

Tridhu stop it now, agar ek aur word boli tho mein maarungi tumhe ..... I said in a bit serious tone

Acha okay, sorry .... ab get ready fast .... I heard her say while giving bridal outfit to me

Okay you also wear the outfit & come back here .... I said while taking the outfit from her

Okay .... saying this she left the room & I closed the door

After 20mins I heard a knock on my door ... I know it's Tridhu only, So I just lift my heavy lehenga & moved towards the door to open it .... as soon as I opened the door, I saw Tridha, Nidhi di (Neil's bhabhi ) & one more girl whom I didn't recognise

As soon Tridha saw she shouted in excitement ....

Omg look at you Avi, you're looking beautiful in that dress .... am damn sure Neil jiju will be having very tough time from keeping his eyes & hands off you .....

My eyes widened in shock .... what is she blurting out .... I saw Nidhi di & that other girl started laughing while looking at me  .... without wasting another second I dragged Tridha inside & they followed her ....

After closing the door I turned towards Tridha & saw her holding her ears while mouthing sorry to me .....

Are you out of your mind Tridhu, why did you shout like that ..... acha hua no elders were there at that time if not kitna embracement hota tha .... I said while glaring at her

Am sorry, I just couldn't control myself after seeing you like this .... I heard her say while looking at me with her puppy eyes

I just turned my face in other direction .... Tridhu came & stood infront of me holding her ears .... but still I didn't give in, she just wrapped her hands around me & kissed on my cheeks ....

She very well knows how to pacify me ..... after all she is my bestie since childhood ....

It's okay Avni leave it, waise Tridha is 100% right, aaj mere devar ka kaam hogaya .... I heard Nidhi di say while standing infront of me

Again I blushed .... a mere mention of him & my weird behaviour starts .....

Oh Avni I forgot to introduce, she is Asha Neil's best friend & Rithvik's girl friend ..... I heard Nidhi bhabhi say while pointing towards the other girl

Hey hi nice to meet you ..... I said while smiling at her

I must say Avni, seriously you're really looking very beautiful .... Neil will be having very tough time .... I heard Asha say

I just gave a small smile to Asha .....

Avi chal I'll help you in getting ready .... I heard Tridha say

If you want I can also help .... I heard Asha say

Yeah sure ..... I said while smiling

I cannot stay here, I've to go ..... I heard Nidhi di say

Okay ..... me & Tridha said in unison

After Nidhi di left Tridha closed the door & started walking in my direction ..... I was sitting on a chair infront of the mirror ...... Asha was standing next to me while helping me in wearing jewellery .....

Asha why didn't you attend the rest of functions ..... I heard Tridha say

Woh today only I came back to Mumbai, I was at Delhi for some event. I just came back only for Neil, if not he would've killed me .... I heard Asha say while smiling

Oh! What you do by the way .... I asked while looking at her through the mirror

I run a event company, actually I thought to plan all your wedding events but I was stuck in planning a event for my cousin at Delhi. Neil said friends can understand but relatives can't, So I went there  ..... I heard Asha say

Yeah it's true .... I replied while smiling

But don't worry I'm only planning your reception ... I heard her say

Risha event company, oh that's yours ? .... actually Neil told me that one of his friend is doing this event but he didn't mentioned about you ..... I said

Oh yeah I only said not to say anything to you, I wanted to tell you personally .... by the way I got to know that you only designed all the outfits for your wedding ? ..... I heard Asha say

Yes, actually Nidhi di is also into fashion designing, So that was an advantage for me & I was able to complete on time ..... I replied while smiling

Oh cool, the outfits are really pretty .... I heard Asha say

Thank you & yeah you should visit our boutique whenever you're free .... I said

Sure ! I'd love to visit  .... I heard her say while smiling

Later I stood infront of the mirror while looking at myself .... I was ready on time ... I actually choose golden colour for the wedding, usually everyone picks red colour but I decided I want a different colour ....

So I spoke to Neil & he was also okay with the golden colour, actually this colour enhances your beauty & even in pictures it will look awesome .... So I decided this .... you can have a look at our outfits in the pic uploaded above .....

My trance was broken when I heard my mom's voice .....

Baccha you're looking very beautiful, kisi ki nazar na lage .... I heard mom say while keeping kala  teekha

Mamma where is dad ..... I asked while looking at the door

My mom was about to reply but didn't as we heard my dad's voice .....

Princess ..... saying this my dad walked into the room

I saw Tridha & Asha leaving the room while closing the door .... I just hugged my dad .... I don't want to leave my parents but there's no choice I had to do this .... infact every girl has to do it ....

Princess don't cry, you can come & meet us whenever you want. We are just an hour away .... I heard my dad say

I know .... I replied in between the sobs

Princess look at me .... saying this he cupped my cheeks & made me look at him

Thank you for trusting our choice & agreeing for marriage, I know Neil will keep you very happy. The moment I saw him I knew it, he is the one for my princess. Am sure he will treat you like a queen .... I heard dad say

I just nodded agreeing to his point .... even I knew it the moment I saw him .... though we ( Neil & me ) both were against the marriage, we knew it we are made for each other ....

Just be happy princess, come on you both I'll be waiting downstairs .... I heard my dad say while kissing my forehead & started walking towards the door

Dad .... I called out

Haan Princess .... my dad said while turning to my side

Our group hug .... I said while looking at my mom & dad

Oh yeah .... saying this my dad walked towards me  & we three (me, my mom & dad ) shared a hug

After that my dad went out & I stood with my mom..

Baccha trust me every girl goes through the same phase, I can completely understand you but you've to be strong .... I heard my mom say & I nodded

One more thing baccha it is very important for you to balance your personal life & professional life very carefully. Till now you were with US, this is different but from tomorrow everything changes ....

You've to adjust to lot of things, you've to take care of your in-laws & your husband & there will be many more responsibilities which you've to take up .... I know Shweta & Prakash will treat you as their own daughter but still you've to be very careful ....

I'm glad that Nidhi is there to guide you .... I heard my mom say all these things

Mom don't worry, I'll manage everything ... I said while smiling

Aunty we've to go downstairs, they are calling .... I heard Tridha say while coming into the room

Okay beta .... I heard my mom say

Finally it's the time ..... I started walking towards the door along with mom & Tridha on either my sides .... I saw my chachi, bua & Asha joining us while we were walking .....

As soon as I got a glimpse of him, a small smile crept on my face .... he was sitting at the mandap & was busy in listening to pandit ji ... trust me he was looking so handsome in that out fit ....

It's very hard for me to keep my eyes off him .... Avni all the best your tough time starts now ... I murmured under my breath ....

As if sensing my presence he just looked straight into my eyes .... the moment our eyes met I frozen for a second .... I know my face colour has been changed to red, I was really trying hard not to blush but no use ....

As if he got to know I was blushing, he winked at me .... trust me if Tridha & mamma was not holding I would've fallen down .... Avni beta there is a long way to go, all the best .... I heard my inner voice !!

Neil's PoV

As Mohit & Rithvik were passing across Avni's room, they saw her crying while hugging her mom & they informed me about the situation. I so wanted to be with her to cheer her up but I cannot see her till the wedding .....

That is when I decided to call her, So without waiting a second I called her but she didn't not answered, I tried again but no answer ... finally after 10 mins of trying she answered the call ....

Guess what I was flirting with my fiancée who will be my wife in less than 3 hours .... can you believe it ? .... No right, I know but it was the fact ... just to listen her voice I've started conversation on random topics .....

As I said you before, am liking spending time with her ..... I want to know each & every thing about her .... trust me if I was ever interested falling in love before I'd have definitely fallen for her ....

She is perfect in every sense, she's the woman a man needs .... not only looks wise, everything about her is perfect ..... I've already decided to take take the things slow even after marriage, I want to know her, I want to fall in love with her .... I just want to enjoy each & every phase with her ....

My thoughts were broken when there was a tap on my shoulder ... turning in that direction I saw Asha standing there while raising her eye brows .... I was so happy to see her ....

Finally you've come, I missed you so much ... I  said while hugging her

Awww I missed you too idiot .... I heard her say while hugging me

Asha, Rithvik, Mohit & me were friends since childhood .... when we were in college, Rithvik & Asha fell in love with each other .... me & Mohit were very happy for them .... finally we had love birds in our gang ....

Even then nothing has changed, I mean our bond & friendship .... infact it became more stronger .... & I hope it continues throughout our lifetime .....

Abbey where is your bride, I wanna meet her .... I heard Asha say while hitting me

She is in her room .... I said causally

I want to meet her now, chalo introduce her ... I heard Asha say while dragging me towards the door

Wow ... I'll be getting chance to see my fiancée .... thinking this I was very happy & was blushing at the same time .... we were about to move out but Nidhi bhabhi stood infront of us blocking the way

Hey bhabhi .... Asha said while hugging her

By the way where were you all going .... I heard Nidhi bhabhi say while raising her eye brows

Woh woh .... I didn't complete

Woh bhabhi, we aise hi ... you know .... Mohit tried to say but didn't complete

Woh bhabhi, hum fresh air ke liye bahar jaare .... I heard Rithvik say

Haan fresh air ....  Me & Mohit said in unison

Acha fresh air,  but as far as I heard Asha asked you to introduce Avni & you said yes, didn't you ? ... I heard bhabhi say

Is it ! I heard that Asha wants some fresh air, So I said yes & you can ask them also .... I replied while looking towards Mohit & Rithvik

Haan bhabhi fresh air .... I heard them say in unison

All this while Asha was standing there silently & glaring at us ....

Oye hello, say all these things to someone else not to me .... I know you three very well ... I heard bhabhi say

Bhabhi please jaane do na .... I said while making puppy eyes

No Neil I can't let you go there .... I heard bhabhi say

Arey bhabhi Asha wants to meet her, So we were just helping her .... that's it .... I replied

Oh you're helping her .... I heard bhabhi say

Yes bhabhi .... I replied

I know it's just a excuse, actually I wanted to see her, talk to her .... hope bhabhi believes me & allow me to go .....

It's okay don't worry devar ji ... I'll introduce Asha to Avni .... I heard bhabhi say

But bhabhi .... I couldn't complete further as bhabhi interrupted me

No if's & but's, Asha come .... saying this bhabhi dragged Asha along with her

My Plan flopped .... murmuring under my breath I went to the room !! A

Later I was standing infront of mirror & checking myself .... Avni's choice is too good, she chose golden colour outfit for both of us .... am really looking more handsome in this outfit ..... hhhehehe what to do self obsessed hoon toh apna taarif toh banta hai na .....

Offo someone is looking dashing ...... I heard Rithvik say while coming into the room

Thank you ..... I said while smiling at him

Chalo, we've to go down .... I heard Mohit say

Yup .... saying this I started walking towards the door that is when I saw Arav bhayya & papa walking into room

Looking handsome my son .... I heard my dad say

Thank you dad .... I said while smiling

So are you ready to go .... I heard my bhayya say

Yes bhai .... I replied !!

After that I sat at the mandap & was eagerly waiting for my bride .... I was talking to pandit ji & that is when I felt her presence & I immediately lift my face & saw in her direction, she was coming downstairs ....

The moment our eyes met, she blushed .... & I winked at her ..... she was looking beautiful in that lehenga just like a princess .... I will definitely treat her like queen .... My Queen ....

As soon as she sat beside me at the mandap, rituals have begun .... after sometime we were asked to stand up for seven steps, I got up & forwarded my hand towards her ....

Taking my hand into hers she slowly got up holding her lehenga .... pandit ji started chanting the mantras & we started taking the pheras around the fire ....

After the completion of pheras we both took our seats .... I filled her forehead with vermilion & then tied nuptial chain around her neck .... finally she became mine ..... & after that we both took blessings from our elders !!!!

Later it was time for us to leave, I was standing next to her while she was crying holding her parents .... this is the toughest thing to do ... leaving your parents but it's our custom ..... I really can't imagine how a girl feels when she is leaving her parents house ....

Neil beta I'm giving my princess to you, please take care of her ..... I heard Ashish dad say

Papa I promise you that I'll take care of her & I'll treat her like queen ..... I replied while holding his hands

God bless you both .... saying this Ashish dad hugged both of us

Biding bye to everyone I sat in the car & Ashish dad made Avni sit in the car ..... I was unable to see her crying but I can't do anything .... I just moved towards her side & wrapped one hand around her waist .....

Turning to my side she just rested her head on my shoulder ..... with my other hand I was holding her hands which are on her lap ..... If I get a super power I'll take away her pain ....

It's been an hour since we were travelling but she didn't even speak a single word .... even I didn't wanted to disturb her ....

Later we reached our house & I was calling her but she is not responding ..... I just bend my head & saw her sleeping peacefully .... she was looking so cute .... I seriously didn't want to disturb her sleep ....

But I had to do it coz there is one more ritual which has to be done .... So I slowly tapped her cheeks to wake her up but she snuggled into my chest more ...

Avni please get up, we've reached our house .... everyone are waiting for US .... I said slowly while tapping her cheeks

She immediately got up & started looking at her surroundings .... turning to my side she was just looking at me ...

Am sorry I just .... she couldn't complete further as I interrupted her

No need to be sorry, I didn't wanted to wake you up .. I could've just carried you upstairs but there is other ritual which needs to be done, So for that reason I woke you up .... I replied while smiling at her

Okay .... saying this she opened the car door

Avni let me help you .... I said & got down from the car & moved towards her side ....
