In which I made art on vacation.

So, I went camping and brought all the art stuff I could fit into my bag. Which was a surprising lot. Ten canvases (varying sizes) and all my paints, acrylic and water color. That was fun. Anyways, here is the first painting(s) I did while camping! The moon was quite full the first night, so I tried to paint that.

Here is the first painting of the moon! It is behind a cloud, making rays of light.

I had to paint it really fast! The clouds moved a lot, and the moon wasn't out for very long.

It can be hard to try and learn an impressionistic style in a classroom, indoors, looking at a picture. However, it suddenly gets very easy when you're outside, painting quickly, trying to capture the moon or something before it's gone.

This is the full moon in all its glory!

My dad held up a flashlight for me to see my paints n stuff. The moon was pretty bright, but not enough for me to differentiate colors. 😂
