*Jewel POV*
We get to the church and we all get out. The girls line up with their boyfriends or husbands except Chad and Fallon. They come over to me.
"Well we called your parents but they didn't pick up and then we texted them. They didn't want to come. So we all talked and decided it would be best if Chad walked you down the isle" Fallon says
"What about you" I ask
"Well poor Joseph has no clue what's going on and he's in the sanctuary all alone with the pastor. So I'm gonna keep him company till we start." She says
"Okay" I laugh
She walks in and Chad stands next to me.
"Who's idea was this" I ask
"Well we sort of all came up with the idea" he says
"Chadwick don't lie" Brycie says
"Ok ok fine it was mostly mine" he says
"Well thanks" I say
*Joey POV*
Ugh I've been sitting here for like twenty minutes alone with the pastor and no one is telling me what's going on.
"Come on pastor Doug. Tell me what's going on" I plead
"Sorry Joe I was sworn to secrecy" he says
I groan but in a few minutes Fallon walks in.
"Fallon will you please tell me what's going on" I ask
"You'll find out soon enough" she says
A couple seconds pass and the doors open. Jason, Nick, Owen, and Rowe come running in. They come to me and tackle me.
"Hey kids" I say
They get off and I stand up. They sit down then Presley, AJ, and Jess race each other in and sit down. Then the girls and guys walk in and stand on the proper sides. The doors close then open again and Jewel appears with Chad by her side. They get to the front and he kisses her cheek then comes over to me.
"Treat her well or I'll be your worse nightmare" he says
"Yes father" I say
He stands behind me and I grab Jewels hand.
"I love you" I say
"Love you too Joseph" she says
After a couple minutes I'm knocked out of thoughts by someone hitting me.
"What Chad" I ask
"You zoned out" he said
"Oh. I do" I say
"I now pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride" the pastor says
We lean in and share a passionate kiss. We pull apart and Jason runs over I pick him up and jewel and I kiss his cheek.
"Yuck" he says
"Hey" Jewel says
"Sorry mommy I love you" he says hugging her
"Love you too baby boy" she says
Casey and Tyler come over and join our hug then I hear a camera go off.
"Kelsey" I whine
"Hey I'm sorry" she says
"No you're not" I say
"You're right I'm not" she says
"Hey who's the baby with" Nicole asks
"Well my parents came into town for a bit so they've been wanting to watch him" Kelsey says
"Oh ok" Casey says
"We have to go to the reception" Brian says
"Ok ok" I say
We thank the pastor then go to the cars. Chad starts the car and heads to the destination. He stops the car and runs inside. Jewel and I get out and hold hands.
"Shall we" I ask
"We shall" she says
*Jewel POV*
We go inside to see Joey's family, the band, and the George twins. Joey and I go over to his family and greet them.
"Tyler, Casey, and Jason come over here" Joey says
they come over and I pick Jason up.
"Mom, Dad this is Tyler, Casey, and Jason. They're the kids of Linda. Her and her husband died in a car crash Christmas Eve and I was listed as guardian if something was to happen" Joey says
"Well hello" his mom says
"Nana" Jason asks
"Yeah bud that's nana and pop pop" Joey says
"Hey Joey, Jewel hope isn't feeling well so I'm gonna walk her home" Tyler says
"Here Tyler take the car" Joey says Tyler takes the keys and walks off.
"He's such a sweet boy" Jeannie says
"Yeah he was raised right and I'm just keeping it going" Joey says
"Mommy we go dance" Jason says
"Ok let's go bubba" I say
I take Jason and go to the dance floor. I look around and see people dancing. I look in the corner and see Nick and Rowe dancing.
*Chad POV*
After we all eat I go up on stage.
"Now Jewel we know your dad isn't here but we think you still need a daddy daughter dance so Joes dad wants to give that to you." I say
Mr. Stamper walks over to her and I turn on the escape cd playing paradise. I walk over with the other guys to where the girls are sitting. Joey takes Casey's hand, Caleb takes Jess, Spencer takes Nicole. Megan looks up at me.
"Come on Megan" I say
"Why" she asks
"Because it's a daddy daughter dance and technically I am your dad. I mean Fallon and I did adopt you" I say
"But I don't want to dance. I just want to get this dress off" she whines
"Alright follow me" I say
She stands up and follows me to the hall. I grab her backpack from behind the door and give it to her.
"There's a change of clothes and shoes in there for you" I say
She takes the bag and walks into the bathroom. I grab my bag and go change as well. I change and then go wait out in the hall for Megan. She comes out and looks at me.
"Really" she asks
"Fallon packed the clothes. She told me that if you changed your clothes I had too as well" I say

We place our bags down and go back to where the reception is. We get in there and Fallon comes over to us with the two little ones and Luke and Liam. And they're also all wearing the same.
"Really Fallon" I ask
"What I like it" she says
"Wait why aren't you dressed like this" Liam asks
"Well then it would be uneven. I wouldn't have a friend to go with best. Now get together for a picture" she says
We get set and they start taking pictures. We finish with pictures and Dylan walks over.
"Hey Megan do you care to dance" he asks
"Sure" she says
They walk away and I feel a tug. I look down and see Rowe. I pick her up and she kisses my nose.
"Hey there little bear" I say
"Hi big bear" she says
"You wanna dance" I ask
"No. I go dance with daddy" she says
I set her down and she runs off. I look around and see Jewel sitting by herself. I go over and sit next to her.
"Hey Jewel you okay" I ask
"Yeah" she says
"Come on don't lie to me" I say
"I look around here and see that everyone has their family here and then I'm here with out mine" she says
"Jewel take a look around. Everyone you see here is your family. We might not all be related but we're family. You just got married and according to Jason you're also a mother. You have a family and they're right here. We might be big and loud but that's what makes us fun." I say
"Thanks Chad" she says
"No problem. Now come on let's go dance." I say
I take her hand and we walk to the dance floor and start dancing.
"Megan POV*
The song finishes and the girls and I go to the stage. I plug my flash drive into the computer then Casey starts talking.
"Ok so we were trying to come up with a present for Joey and Jewel and couldn't think of anything until we finally thought of something. Also Chad helped a bit. This is from all of us kids" she says
I play the video and it's all of us older kids in the background singing some mashups we created and then a picture/video slide show is happening. It finishes and I take my flash drive out. And put it in my pocket. Us girls leave the stage and go back to our corner. Joey and Jewel walk over to us.
"Thank you girls. You have amazed us once again" Joey says
"Aww thanks" Nicole says
"Oh Joey you're so sweet" Casey says
"No problem. It was out pleasure" I say
"You're too polite Megan" Jewel says
"Baby people are suppose to be polite to those who give them compliments" Joey says
"Not necessarily. Only strangers" Jewel says
"Let's go Joe. Apparently we aren't wanted here" I say
Joey and I link arms and skip away.
"Really Megan you took the dress off already" Joey asks
"Dude your lucky I even wore a dress. I didn't want to. Casey won a coin flip. I didn't even have a say in what I chose" I say
"Well thank you for humouring us all" he says
"No problem" I say
We get over to the other guys and Joey quickly runs away. I look behind me and see him dragging Casey to the dance floor. Spencer goes over and grabs Nicole's hand again to dance.
"Come on Megan" Chad says
"Icadat" I mumble
"What" he asks
"I can't dance" I whisper looking down
He lifts my head up so I'm looking in his eyes.
"It's okay come on" he says
I give in and he takes my hand. We go to the dance floor with the other guys and girls. We start dancing and talking.
"Ok and that time when Luke fell asleep during the movie night and you, Caleb, and Liam threw him in the pool" I laugh
"I remember that. He didn't talk to us for a whole week." Chad chuckles
"Yeah but he wouldn't talk to me either because he said it was my idea" I say
"That's because it was" Luke says
"No it wasn't Lucas. It was Chadwick's" I say
"Chad who's idea was it" Luke asks
"Anthony's" Chad says
"Anthony Liam Jackson" Luke yells
"You seriously aren't over it yet" Liam groans
"No no I'm not. Now you better run while you still have legs" Luke threatens
Those two take off and outside.
"I'll go supervise" Fallon says taking Brian with her
"Chad are we still doing that prank later" I ask
"Yep. It's already set to go" he says
"Time for cake" Donnie yells
"Hey you want to go for a walk" Chad asks
"Sure. Let's go" I say
We walk out the door and quickly run past Fallon before she can stop us. We get a decent distance away and start walking.
*Joey POV*
We all gather around the cake and Jewel walks over to me.
"Hey baby" I say
"Hey" she says
"Cut the cake daddy and mommy" Jason says
"Ok buddy we will" I say
"Where's Chad and Megan" Jewel asks
"Don't know" everyone says
Jewel and I grab the knife and as soon as we cut into it the cake explodes and flies all over us.
"Well we now know why they weren't in here and who did this" I mumble
"Why did you leave them in charge of the cake" Jewel asks
"Uh we all chose from a hat and they both chose cake" Caleb says
"Oh ok" I say
*Chad POV*
We get far enough away and start walking.
"Do you think they'll know it was us" Megan asks
"Eventually once they cut into the cake" I say
"It's their fault for not just assigning us something easy and prank proof music" she says
"Yep" I say
We get to a park and Megan goes and climbs a tree. I follow after her and climb up as well.
"Chad" Megan starts
"What" I ask
"You know a few weeks ago when you called me your daughter?" She asks
"Yeah" I say
"Did you actually mean it?" She asks
I'm about to respond when she starts talking again.
"I'm sorry forget about it. It was a stupid question" she says she hops out of the tree and runs. I get out and run after her. I catch up to her and grab her shoulder stopping her.
"Leave me alone Chad. I know you only adopted my and my brothers because you felt sorry for us." She says
"Megan" I start
"NO CHAD! STOP. STOP TRYING TO HELP US. WE DON'T NEED YOUR HELP" she yells
She gets out of my grip and runs more. I'm about to run after her but realize I just need to let her be. I go back to the park and climb the tree.
*Megan POV*
I run to Chad's and pack some of mine and my brothers stuff. I then grab all the money I have and the stroller and head outside. I walk to where the reception is and leave the stroller out there. I go in and find Nick and Owen. They run to me and I pick them up. I go outside and place them in the stroller and start walking.
"Meggy where are we going" Nick asks
"We're going in a trip" I say
"What about mommy and daddy" he asks
"We don't need them. It's just me, you, and Owen. How it should be" I say
We get to a hotel and go in. I get a cheap room and go up. I put my brothers to bed and lay down looking at the ceiling.
*Chad POV*
After a few minutes of sitting there my phone rings.
C-hey babe what's up
F-Chad we can't find Nick and Owen anywhere
C-oh shoot
F-Chad what's wrong. Is Megan there with you
C-she ran off. She started yelling at me. I think she took Nick and Owen
F-Luke, Liam, and I are heading to the house. Meet us there
C-ok
I get out of the tree and run to the house as quick as I can. I see the stroller is gone and realize I was right. I go on the find my iPhone app and see her Bluetooth is off and her last location was here. Fallon, Luke, and Liam run up to me and look at me.
"We tried calling her and she blocked all three of our numbers." Luke says
"She turned off her Bluetooth. The last location was here." I say
"Do you think we could try and get Dylan to call her and talk to her" Liam asks
"No. This is a battle between me and her" I say
"Ok. Well I'm sure she's safe and so are the boys so let's all go to bed and worry about it in the morning. You two can sleep here tonight" Fallon says
"Ok" Luke and Liam say
They go inside and Fallon walks over to me.
"You ok" she asks
"Yeah yeah I'm fine. Let's go inside" I say
We go inside and up to bed. I lay down and drift off to sleep thinking.
*Joey POV*
We get home that night and Casey runs to the bathroom.
"Casey you ok" I ask
She comes out and wipes her mouth.
"Yeah." She says
I go over to her and feel her forehead.
"Go upstairs to bed and lay down. I'll be up there soon" I say
She nods and goes upstairs.
"She okay" Jewel asks
"She has a fever. I'm gonna give her some water, take her temperature, and check on her in the middle of the night" I say
"Ok. Well do you mind if I stay the night" she asks
"Go ahead" I say
She goes upstairs and I go to the kitchen. I grab what I need and then go up to Casey's room. I get in there and she's crying.
"Hey Casey what's wrong" I ask
"My stomach hurts really bad." She cries
"I know I know." I say
"Fix it Joey" she cries
I pick her up and grab her blanket then go to my room.
"Jewel I'm gonna be back at some point. Can you stay here with the boys" I ask
"Yeah. Be safe and hope she feels better" she says
I go downstairs and out to the car. I lay Casey down in the back seat and then get in the front. I buckle up and drive to the hospital. I get there and get Casey out then run inside. I get in there and a doctor runs over.
"What's the matter" he asks
"She has a fever and says her stomach really hurts. A couple years ago she got really sick so now whenever she gets sick it's usually really bad" I say
They bring a bed over and I lay her on it. I go to follow but they make me go to the waiting room.
I pull my phone out and send a group text.
J-at the hospital with Casey. She's not feeling well
N-tell her to feel better
A-do you want some company
S-awe
Li-do you want me to come there
Lu-hope she's alright
J-sure Alan and Liam you two can come
I put my phone away and about 15 minutes later the two show up.
"Hey Joe do you know how she is" Liam asks coming over
"No not yet" I say
"Ok" he says
"You okay Liam" Alan asks
"Yeah yeah. It's just Megan ran away with our little brothers after an argument with Chad and she blocked all four of our numbers and turned her Bluetooth off at Chad's house." Liam says
"Just give her sometime to think. She'll be fine and take good care of your brothers. She really cares about you four" I say
"Yeah" he says
We Salk sit down and talk as we're waiting.
*Nicole POV*
We get home and I go upstairs. After the text from Joey I plug my phone in to charge and get changed for bed. Just as I'm done changing there's a knock on my door.
"Come in" I say
Brian comes in and sits next to me on my bed.
"Nicole. I Just got a call from dads boss. Dad was sent undercover on a mission. He was doing well then his identity was leaked and there was an explosion and he was killed" Brian says
"W-what" I stutter
"You okay" he asks
"I-I don't know" I mutter
"It's okay. It's okay to cry or be shocked. I have to go take Faith home but then I'll be back and I'll come check on you" he says
"Alright" I say
He kisses my forehead and walks out. I get up and go to my bathroom. And find my blade. I press it to my wrists and make 16 cuts. 8 on each wrist. I then keep thinking about this and make a deeper cut. I put the blade down. Just as I'm about to clean up my arms when I fall and my world goes black.
