When Brittney got home, she stepped inside her room quickly, and locked the door behind her. There was none in the house that day, but she always loved the idea of being alone in a room.

She heaved a sigh of relief and a smile appeared in her lips. After all this time.

She finally did it!

How and when did she become so brave?

She kept thinking what Michael's reaction would be like. That blond guy would be shocked as hell for sure. Would he identify her voice?

Why did it even matter though? She would never get to see his face again! They had all graduated from school last week.

Brittney did not even know why she had done it. But after all these years it felt so right. He did not have to know who she was. All she wanted was to make him realize that there was someone there for all these years.

There was someone who could not give him those chocolates on Valentines Day four years ago. There was someone other than Melissa who had truly fallen in love with him.

She looked at her room; it was indeed very messy. Notebooks, textbooks, calculator, pens, pencils, papers were strewn all over the table; an uneaten cheese sandwich rested on her bed along with two empty coke cans. The book shelf was filled with all kinds of books and warned to burst out any second.

She really needed to clean the mess before leaving for college, she thought, and there was barely a month left.

Brittney was about to start the cleaning operation, but a sudden shrill sound stopped her suddenly.

She turned around to find out that her phone was ringing. And it was from an unknown number.
