The Pride of Persephone

Persephone sat in her new room, staring at the window with a blank look on her face.

She didn't want to say it out loud but she didn't know how to be comfortable, being away from home. But she promised herself that she would give the Hotel a try.

She wanted to.

She just... didn't know how truly react to being there. But everyone was nice.

She hummed softly before she sighed and got up. Perhaps she could go out today.

She walked out of her room and went to the living room. Alastor looked at her, "hello, Persephone."

"Alastor," she chuckled, "what are you up to?" "Oh nothing much," he chuckled. Persephone raised an eyebrow before she smiled.

"How would you like to join me for a walk?" She asked, "I'm sure the people of Hell would love to go into hiding at the mere sight of us."

The Radio Demon laughed, "I'd like that very much." The two walked out of the hotel and started walking. Persephone lifted her hand and two dragons flew out and landed on her shoulders. The male dragon had white scales, blue wings and black horns. He had bright green eyes. The dragoness had black scales, purple wings and white horns. She had blue eyes. There were the phases of the moons trailing from the backs of their necks and all the way down their backs.

"How long has it been since you last saw Hijack and Hijinx?" Persephone asked. Alastor chuckled and he gently rubbed Hijinx's head, "too long, dear."

Persephone chuckled as they walked down the street. Demons gasped and started scurrying about to hide, some even daring to gawk at the two Higher Demons.

Persephone smirked, "it's good to be back." Alastor laughed, "yes, well, your reign of terror clearly hasn't been forgotten."

"You know me well, Al," she smiled innocently, "I do enjoy instilling fear into the hearts of lesser sinners down here." She looked around before she looked over at the Vees' place. There was a crowd of demons gathered at the door. She smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. Alastor looked at her then followed her gaze.

"Oh, I'm sure you don't want to deal with those three, Persephone," he said. "Oh come on," she chuckled, "they know better than to threaten me. After all... I always have tricks up my sleeve." With that, she walked over to the building.

One demon looked at her and yelped. The others looked at Persephone before they quickly scrambled out of the way. The doors opened and Persephone walked through them. She looked around, humming softly.

She looked at Hijack, "if you would."

The white dragon smiled, his tail wagging. He took a deep breath then roared. Demons jumped and there was a slight crackle.

"What the fuck is going on here?!" Vox snapped in frustration before his eyes widened, "P-Persephone." "Hello, Vox," she smiled, "I was wondering what you and your other friends were doing."

"Y-you're back," Vox said with a strained grin, "what brings you to our humble abode?"

Persephone chuckled, "I guess I wanted to see the sights of the homes of the many Overlords in Hell. Imagine my surprise when I come back to hear that the princess of Hell and her friends won a war against Adam and his exorcists!"

Vox laughed, "oh yeah! Alastor's actually been taken down by Adam! It was fucking hilarious."

The corner of Persephone's lip twitched and she tilted her head, "oh, really? And you think the powerful Radio Demon just disappeared after the battle?" "Uh, he obviously did!" Vox huffed, "like I said, he's a cowa-"

Hijinx and Hijack snarled and hissed at Vox, startling him. Persephone reached up and rubbed their heads. "Now, now, my dears," she said, "be nice. After all... it's not Vox's fault he's a dumbass."

Electricity danced along the demon's arms. "Excuse me?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.

Persephone chuckled softly, "you clearly don't have many spies to take a peek at the Hazbin Hotel. Alastor has been there. After all... who could ever hope to take down the Radio Demon himself?"

She leaned closer to Vox, "if you were smart, you wouldn't be whining constantly about that little fight the two of you had years ago." Her eyes glowed brightly, menacingly.

"Let me give you a little warning," she whispered, "if you or Velvette or Valentino ever come near that Hotel or Charlie or her friends, I will find out. As far as I'm concerned, Alastor can take you all out with a mere snap of his fingers while I can do so much worse."

Vox clenched his fists tightly. Persephone smiled brightly, patting his shoulder. "That's all I wanted to say," she chirped as she circled around and walked back to the door, "it was nice meeting you. Do tell the other Vees that I said hello."

She walked out the door and Vox growled before he disappeared into his room and he slammed his fists down on the keyboard, almost breaking it.

"That damn bitch," he growled through gritted teeth. His screen glitched and crackled. He hissed as he held his head, letting out a sharp exhale.

He should've known Alastor would be back. He would always come back. That's what pissed him off so much.

Vox scoffed and he walked out of his room. He walked to Valentino's room. He was standing in front of the window, smoking one of his known cigarettes. He chuckled and looked back at his friend, "I heard Persephone is back."

"Oh she is," Vox huffed, "that bitch is sooo lucky that I can't do anything." "You couldn't do anything if you tried," Velvette spoke up by the doorway, "like Alastor, she's been gone for seven years. And her reason is that she lost someone. Everyone knows that when she manifested into Hell, she immediately took down big and small Overlords."

"Oh please," Valentino scoffed, "if she really wanted to kill us, she would've done it already." Vox glared at him, "don't let her hear you say that. If anything, she's with Lucifer's kid. And what's fucking weirder is that two Overlords are under one roof!"

"Oh please, what kind of fight would those two get into?" Velvette huffed.

Persephone walked over to Alastor. She smiled innocently and he rolled his eyes.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" He asked. "Yes I did," she giggled. The two started walking down the street.
