Pov Bill

I kept thinking about what happened yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it too. I mean he kissed my cheek and I don't know if it's a friendly thing or a sign that he's into me!

Because some people kiss other people on the cheek as a friendly thing. Yesterday I was so confident that I had a chance but then I realized this. Fuck!

I've been muttering to myself since the morning about this. Will has been looking at me like I'm crazy because of it. I'm not!

"Bill stop spacing off!" Will pulled me away from the moving cars.
"Sorry," I said.
"What's so important that you lose sight of what's in front of you?" Will asked me.
"Nothing," I said.
"Nothing my ass," Will groaned.
"You don't need to know about it okay," I sighed.
"I do now because you're going to get hurt," Will said pointing at the road, "You've already made my point."
"I don't want to tell you, Will," I told him, "This doesn't really involve you."
"As your younger brother..." Will looked at me while placing his arm around my shoulder, "I should know because you do stupid shit."
"This isn't something stupid either way," I replied, "I'm not going to do anything remotely stupid because it's not going to go to that point of stupidity."
"Right," Will didn't really believe me.

Will started to nag me as we walked to school and I was getting annoyed. I can't tell him either way because then he'll get all involved in my confusion friendship with Pinetree.

Pinetree and I talk a lot to the point where we get to the personal stuff. I know a lot about Pinetree and I feel like if I do something dumb I might lose that bond with him.

Maybe I should just ask him?

No... maybe it would make things awkward! Christ this is confusing. When we made it to the classroom everyone was sitting in a circle talking.

This was a first.

Pinetree was talking to everyone, did he start this? Will and I went next to Andrew and Lady. We asked what was going on because it felt like a cult thing to me for some reason.

"What's happening?"
"At first it was a heated argument between two people and then Dipper stepped in," Andrew explained.
"Then it turned into this," Lady Widow finished, "Just a bunch of people talking to each other... well talking about a topic that we all enjoy."
"It's nice to know we have another peacemaker here," Star popped out of nowhere.
"What about me?" Will questioned.
"Dipper and Mabel get here earlier than you guys sometimes," Star muttered, "It's just whoever is here first I guess but you can't do the peacemaking all the time."
"That's true," Will agreed.
"Do something cool!" Someone said.
"He's not going to do a trick," Mabel hissed.
"I don't think I can do anything cool," Pinetree told everyone.
"I have a question," Someone said, "Is the little halo thing true?"
"Yes," Pinetree answered, "I don't get why people think it's fake sometimes."
"Someone told me it was," The same person mumbled.
"It's fine," Pinetree chuckled.
"Is anyone seeing the new Turtle ghost special?" Mabel asked.
"Yes!"

Everyone started talking about the Turtle Ghost special that was coming on tv soon. I started to smile when I saw the look on Pinetree.

He looked adorable as always when he talked about something he was into. Pinetree caught me looking at me and I saw a faint blush appear on his cheeks.

"A-Anyway... The special is going to be amazing," Pinetree explained.

The bell rang but no one moved from their spots. We were waiting for Soul to barge into the room, but she didn't show up.

Everyone was slowly getting worried because Soul would never be this late. Lady Widow started to pace around and started to think.

There was complete silence for a minute which made the room tense. Then someone opened the door and everyone screamed.

"FUCKING CHRIST KIDS!" Heal shouted right after, "Why did you yell?"
"The room got tense and we were scared," Someone said.
"Where's Soul?" Star muttered.
"She's in a last minute morning meeting," Healer explained, "Why are you in a circle?"
"We were talking," Mabel told Healer.
"I feel like if you guys were in the dark you guys would look like you'll be apart of a cult," Healer commented.
"Who's gonna teach us shit that we probably don't need," Mabel asked.
"Me, unfortunately," Healer jokingly said.
"Yeah!" People cheered.

Everyone quickly stood up and went to their seats. Healer just walked in looking at everyone expecting something interesting. I feel like he expects us to act like Soul.

"So how was your break," Healer asked.

One by one everyone started to explain what they did during their break. Everyone started to add why they needed a break because everyone was just fine.

Healer told us the truth about why we had to take the break in the first place. It was because they were worried about the news just coming in out of nowhere and because they wanted to investigate more into the situation.

Someone said that the news part was bullshit because they'll take anything at this point in time. It's true the news has taken everything at this point.

Star wanted to distract Healer by asking him about his current hero days and younger ones. Healer started to tell everyone stories. He started to act dramatic about them and everyone was excited.

Then someone asked about his love life and he started to explain that as well. He has a boyfriend which we were all surprised about. I hate that they started to talk about this subject.

I am currently struggling with my love- friendship life at the moment. I am confused and at the moment when that happened, I was confident.

"Bill, what type of face is that?" Andrew chuckled.
"What face?" I asked him.
"It looks like a mixture of annoyance and confusion," Star muttered.
"It's just my netural face or what you guys call it my resting bitch face," I said.
"That's not it," Lady Widow told Bill, "It's more bitchy."
"Yeah," Will agreed.
"Shut up," I groaned.
"Who pissed in your cup of coffee?" Andrew questioned Bill.
"I didn't even drink coffee so jokes on you," I spat.
"He also walked into the street," Will told everyone, "He almost got hit by a car."
"He did?" Andrew almost laughed.
"I just wasn't paying attention,"  I mumbled.
"Sure," Will said.
"Fuck off, "
"LANGUAGE!" Healer shouted at our corner.

Everyone chuckled at our little corner and I wanted to say that Soul lets us curse, but I didn't want to get in trouble. I still needed to talk to Pinetree after class, but if I get in trouble I won't.

After a few long minutes of Healer talking about random things that my classmates asked him. To be honest I feel like people were only asking questions because they didn't want to do any work.

I wanted to do work for once and I hated myself because I thought I would never say that in my life. I'm still surprised that I wanted to do work instead of joining them.

The bell finally rang and I was so happy on the inside, but before we left Healer told us something.

"Soul is gonna be here when you come back," Healer said, "If not then someone else will."

Healer quickly left and everyone slowly started to leave the classroom. Everyone from our little corner walked over to Pinetree and Mabel.

I ended up sitting next to Pinetree because that was the only seat left. I slowly started to talk to Pinetree and I would get small chuckles out of him.

I enjoyed seeing his soft smile on his face with his faint blush on his cheeks. You could barely notice it but I could.

Then slowly one by one everyone from our little group went to get food. It was just me and Pinetree in the room in compete silence.

It usually isn't awkward when I'm with Pinetree, but now it is. Fuck! I came closer to him and made a dull smile. I could feel his weird atmosphere coming off him.

I placed my hand on his cheek and he kept moving his face away from me.

"Pinetree..." I mumbled.
"Hmm..." Pinetree refused to talk to me.
I finally got him to look at me, "You're all flustered."
"S-Shut up," Pinetree was being difficult.
"Sapling don't be that way," I mumbled.

I just looked at him with a soft smile and it made him blush more. Pinetree just looked at me and he wanted to look mad but he couldn't.

"Hey..." I muttered, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," It was a quick one word answer.
"Sapling,"

Pinetree just stood silent for a few seconds and his facial expressions changed. I remember him telling me that he'll stop talking out of nowhere when he's talking to his other person thing. I don't know what to call it yet but I'll figure out a name for that later.

I just waited until he answered which didn't take long when he quickly got up while saying.

"I'm just not- not myself today,"

I got up and grabbed his hand stopping him from leaving the room. He was shaking.

"Pinetree I-"
"I thought you would be mad at me," He answered, "I-I thought you wouldn't want to do anything with me after I kissed you on the cheek."
"Sapling I would never," I told him.
"I didn't know if you liked me or males in general," He kept going, "I thought that you'll hate me and didn't want to talk to me ever again because of it. I thought maybe that you would secretly hate me and then when everyone was gone..."
"Pinetree it'll never be like that," I responded, "Never."
"Ha... I really thought you didn't boys," Pinetree continued.

I pulled Pinetree into my arms and placed my hands on his waist. He was as worried as I was.

"How much of a chance do you think I was gay?" I asked him.
Pinetree blushed and shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know.... since we both didn't have boundaries with each other."
"The kiss on the cheek?"
"I regretted it because I thought our friendship would be ruined if you didn't feel the same way,"
"I thought it was a friendly thing right after I realized that," I told him.
"You don't hate me?" Sapling mumbled.
I placed my hand on his cheeks and grinned, "Never."
"I didn't have to panic after all," Pinetree sighed in relief.

I kissed Pinetree's cheek and I see a bright blush form. He buried his face into the crook of my neck and mumbled a few words that I didn't understand.

I chuckled softly as I placed my hand on the back of his head, "I really like you too."
"Mmmm...."
"I really do,"

Pinetree just looked at me and his face was just soft and sweet. I placed my forehead on his and smiled as his blush grew.

"I really like you too," Pinetree muttered, "C-Can we date?"
"You won't get an answer unti-"

Pinetree just kissed me out of nowhere. I kissed back as I felt his hands move around my neck. My hands slowly went to his waist.

I felt the kiss slowly stop as Pinetree pulled away from him. He gives me this innocent look and tells me.

"I really like you and I want to be more than friends," Pinetree almost stuttered, "If thats okay with you."
"I was going to say that I wanted to ask you out, but this is cool too," I confessed.
"S-So?" Sapling cleared his throat, "Offical?"
"What do you think Sapling?" I asked him.

Pinetree nodded yes and hugged me tight. I kissed his forehead and mumbled.

"Forehead kisses is our thing because it's underrated,"

Pinetree said it was and just wanted me to hold him. I did and I felt a smile form on my face as we stood there.

"Are we going to tell them?" Pinetree said.
I made a devilish smiled, "We'll make them suffer."
"Not yet then," Pinetree smiled.
"Yes,"
